Things get mixed in. Not always easy to separate when you're trying to get a few thousand pics loaded. Fixed. Thanks.

The Godzilla stuff leaves a lot to be desired. I wish NECA cared about the line as much as they do with the Alien and Predator licenses.

Thanks, I understand this is one of the site's busiest times of the year. I love your event galleries, like going there without going there. I find it weird the actual mego Leatherface was even there since he's been out for months.

So much awesome stuff. Godzilla 54, ultimate Leatherface finally shown, the AVP Celtic predator not being a linebacker, NES Gremlin, more pictures of Otachi, and double dose of ultimate Schwarzenegger.

I'm still confused on whether or not Predator series 13 will have netting. The official images don't have it painted, but neither did Viper's and his final release had netting. The original kenner toys didn't have netting, but neither did the one Hive Wars is based on and he also had netting on release. I still think they look good and intend to get Cracked Tusk and Renegade, but if the final figures have sculpted yet unpainted netting it would probably be some points off.

a glaring christopher reeve face sculpt wouldn't be my first choice but I'm fine with it....that hair though, needs some more refinement. the high hair sticks out like a sore thumb..

I get that they aren't all perfect in the realms of accuracy, but as collector-aimed toys they're still pretty great. I'd rather have all the playability they possess over accuracy in this case. The 54 one is pretty spot on though, big feet and all. The Godzilla line is the only NECA line where I have appreciated them more as toys than as little adjustable statues.

I'm happy with it, but a happier face or even a swap-off smiling head would've really sealed the deal.

Another great show for NECA! The Jason pt VI mego style is my favorite reveal. Very cool looking. I really bope we will get an ultimate pt VI 7" figure.
Ellen Ripley and Ultimate T2 are also some of my favorites. Looks like we can expect a new Endo for the new Terminator movie too!
I wish we could get every one of there 1/4 scale DC figures in 7". Even if they don't come with a Blu Ray. If only!

Ultimate Alien Hunter predator looks like a repaint of classic Jungle Hunter, yes?

The spacesuits look good, and I love the diorama with Bissected Bishop. HAHAHA

You know that every Kenner homage Predator has the "ultimate alien hunter" bit, right? I'm assuming then you're referring to Renegade Predator who is just a straight repaint of Jungle Hunter with green skin and grey-ish armor, the only thing new is going to be the plasma gun thing and the weird bladed weapon.

Understood.

I'm waiting for them to do a Chameleon predator that turns opaque or changes colour when wet, like one of those color-changing coffee mugs.

All rights reserved.

Cheers

I disagree. NECA prides themselves on making sure their Alien, Predator, and Terminator lines are as accurate to the screen (or previous toys) as possible. Yet, when it comes to Godzilla, they have this, "Good enough" attitude. If they weren't this accuracy focused company on every other toyline, I would be okay with the Godzilla stuff. However, they are, and their Godzilla toys are butt ass ugly.

Suspect a different target market. The younger you go, the more details get compromised. Little kids want a durable toy they can thrash; they don't generally care as much about whether you can see the iris in Gozilla's eyeball or use his fangs for a letter opener.

The 2014 one is made straight from the CG model Legendary used in the film, obviously the 24" long one is a lot better at capturing all of it (and easily the best 2014 Godzilla toy) than the 12" long one captures, but both of their 2014 figures are ripped from source so you can't really compare them to the others. I think the main reason they don't nail the others 100% is that there aren't any suits for them to compare and use for reference, it's all by look I guess and some movies use multiple suits throughout which isn't great for reference. I don't know since I don't have any in box on hand, but it also might not be the same figure and sculpting team that does a lot of their other stuff. Either way that '54 figure looks great.

NECA always has cool shit

ALIENS / PREDATOR
please tell me that the Dark Horse PRED will be package in that box behind it come june
vs their standard blister card backs…boy i sure hope so
to actually have the cover art of the first issue would be icing

RIPLEY(ALIENS) and the Power Loader in due time
CITY HUNTER(SGen) must have
RUNNER(NES) must have

the AVP PREDs look really good… but BLOOD and ENFORCER told me that theres no room on my shelf for those posers (long story)

Video Game Series
RAMBO(NES) yes but NECA release that RAMBO with bow in original(movie) colors already

MOHAWK with the UZI from GREM 2 is cool, might pick it up

PLANET OF THE APES
so is it safe to say that we be getting a TV Series GORILLA Soldier 2 pack exclusive
i will be snagging up all of Series 3
VESKA, Gen. URKO and JULES look great

You have a point, most NECA lines are labeled as "ages 17 & up" but the Godzilla line is "14 & up". This is an indicator that it is made with more play in mind, though not necessarily for "little" kids.

I still think it's dumb to try and compare the NECA Godzilla toys to anything SH has made, the costs are in completely different fields. NECA toys cost less than something from Hasbro in a similar scale, while SH cost as much as a new AAA video game. Given the price points and previous factors, I can't help but be pleased with what they've done with the license so far. The Predator/Alien/Horror stuff does rank higher in my book, but the Godzilla stuff is still better than decent.

NECA makes me shed a single tear....for my wallet.

Aliens stuff is top-notch. Goddamn, I need to get an Alien Queen before they're all sold so I can display with Ripley & a power-loader. That deluxe figure looks fantastic. Also, the Ripley figures looks spot on too.

Predator figures aren't too bad, but the Ultimate figures are boss. Really liking the Leatherface & T-800....Commando doesn't hold a soft spot in my heart, but I like the figure regardless.

I'd be more interested in the POTA figures if they'd make a damn Taylor that isn't a MEGO doll.

Decent showing by NECA...but they lost a little bit of my cash this year, as outside of the Ultimate Terminator figures, and MEGO "Jason Lives" Jason Voorhees (ALEADY PRE-ORDERED!! FINALLY! Thank you NECA!) there's nothing that really catches my eye. The video game Godzilla (which I was really hyped for...) was something of a let down, while I was hoping the video game Gremlins would be Gizmo instead of Mohawk. I do like the pixelated pattern for the Zilla, but it just looks and feels off to me.

The John Matrix figure had me kinda shrugging my shoulders...it's pretty much a straight up Predator Jungle Patrol Dutch (I.E. figure making on the cheap) repaint. Now, if they had done a Ben Richards (Arnold from "The Running Man") figure, with a subsequent line of all the stalkers, I would have mailed NECA my wallet. No new Friday the 13th, Robocop (could we at least get a Clarence Boddicker, Ann Lewis, or Robocop 2? I wouldn't mind seeing NECA take on the rebooted Robocop either, assuming they could get the license from Jada Toys.) and no showing of the upcoming Kenner Aliens wave kinda left me feeling blah about their display this year. Better luck next year I guess...

Like most fans, NECA has flat out stated their disgust with the Robocop remake. Zero interest in pursuing that idea. I have to agree the NES Godzilla doesn't do it for me.

Yeah...the Robocop reboot wasn't a bright spot on the franchise, but it wasn't the worst blight on it either (that easily falls on Robocop: Prime Directives.) The new designs for the suit, in particular the 1.0 were really slick, and the refusal from many fans to acknowledge them just strike me as stark fan boy-ism. I have the PAK 1.0 Robocop standing right next to my Hot Toys' Robocop, and they look great together. Understandable though still why NECA would avoid the idea, the movie wasn't warmly received by fans, critics or the box office alike, but anything at this point other than repaints to keep the line from falling into the back burner would have been nice.

The NES Godzilla looks great in terms of paints, and I REALLY love the pixelated details, but the Zilla being used with it looks way off. They should have used the Zilla 54' (which I believe is the one on the box art) instead of what looks like the Zilla 85' figure.

I liked the Robocop remake just fine. Would've been cool if the 1.0 suit got more screentime but maybe if there's a sequel it'll be his primary suit since they went back to it in the end.

And even though the movie ended up being really disappointing I liked the look if the AvP Predators and definitely plan to get one of them. Don't know if I wanna go with Scar or Celtic though.

I don't care what their excuse is, NECA is half assing their Godzilla line. Maybe they should actually do some research and watch the movies of the Godzillas they do so they can properly sculpt them.
