so far the only toy line ive collected is transformers and ive done it pitifully. i want to atart a proper collection of something but right now super sentai, figuarts and mugenbine are to expensive for me and so i want suggestions of other cool and or fun toylines to collect

p.s. it does NOT have to be related to sentai my interest's cover many genre (megaman, transformers, digimon, pokemon, yugioh, tokusatsu, american super heroes) also action figures and mecha are only the tip of the iceberg i can get into pretty much any-type of collectable toyline (not dolls or my little pony) so as long as its like any of the genres i mentioned or even if its not and you think it's cool suggest it please

I hear the 6" Star Wars Black Series line is amazing. The card is amazing so if you wanted to, you could collect them MOC as well.

Marvel Minimates. Not sure if they would be your cup of tea, but if you like the look of them, I say go for it. They're pretty cheap and usually very easy to collect in comparison to other toylines.

The Black Series is a good place to start a new collection, especially since the line just recently debuted. You'd be effectively getting in on the ground floor.

Along with those mentioned above, I would also add the current Nick TMNT series. While not as articulated as other lines, they're really good for the price. There's also the TMNT Classics line, if you prefer the 90's cartoon style and larger-scale figures with more articulation.

That line is awesome, and figures are great. Hope the release a Casey Jones, that would be swell.

Me too. Personally now that they are releasing two villains... Casey Jones can't be that far fetched, right?

I too would recommend the current TMNT line. It started fairly recently, and thus all figures are available and easy to get. No need to go to second hand to get older figures. And it's so widely available that there's no need to deal with scalpers.
Cheap too, averaging $9 usd for a decently articulated four and a half to five inch figure. Nice vehicle assortment, which are also cheap. And it has an absolutely MASSIVE sewer HQ playset that blows everything from the older lines out of the water.

Also good fo hit your transformer tastes would be Kreo Transformers.
The older sets got off to a rough start, but they're getting increasingly better, and the Microchanger Combiners are about the best toys under the transformer brand.

If you wanna deal with second hand markets, then Transformers Animated is a fairly short line that's full of awesome figures. Though it's a few years out of production.

Toylines like Transformers Classics (Which ranges over several lines: Classics, Movie 1, RotF-Reveal the Shield, Universe 1, Universe 2, TFCC/Botcon, Generations 1.0 and 2.0, Henkei, United), Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe, and DC Universe Classics though are so long running and so huge that they would be a massive undertaking and super expensive to collect.

Honestly if you have a Transformer Line stick with it. Set a goal This week get Megatron next week Bumblebee and so on your main focus should be on the Corner stone figures and Exclusives

As For DCUC I managed to start collecting in 2010 finished off Waves 10 - 20, GLC Wave 1 & 2, most of the Comic Con Exclusives, the Majority of the 2 packs, the CSA 5 pack part of the others, and a good portion of the Club Figures I still need much of Waves 1 - 9 and some DCSH figures just this year while yes they were expensive there are good deals out there Amazon has had a few (Got Booster Gold for $24 just today still need Kid Flash and Blue Beetle and Atom Smasher is done. While not Impossible very hard to do.
