Dude that would be awesome. Could you imagine this as a masterpiece?

Skullgrin counts for this year since he was released this year. Good figure, I got mine last week, but to me, MP Grimlock is much better.

Why should he? Skullgrin is out.

EDIT: Don't grip at me, I didn't know there was a second page on this thread, and it won't allow me to delete the post.

And IIRC, Skullgrin's wave was supposed to come out at the end of this year. Either way, I say he's a valid choice, along with Thunderwing and WFC Cliffjumper.

Having said that, I agree with you about MP Grimlock.

I'll nominate RtS Turbo Tracks and HFTD Terradive. Tracks has a great jet mode once you figure out how to properly configure it. The ingenuity of Terradive's transformation is amazing plus he looks great in both robot and alt modes. I just wish he had a better color scheme.

I actually meant to say Thunderwing instead of Skullgrin. I was really expecting the leg tranformation to be another pull down the legs and done. Was nicely surprised to have to open the chest and lower the legs.

As for it being released, yeah it is out this year but I don't think it will reach sasturation until sometime in 2011. Best analogy I can give is it is like baseball. A player can play part of one season but not enough games and still be eligible for the Rookie of the Year award the following season.

Sadly, I'm not so sure. Toys that were released back in july have yet to reach saturation point around me.
I've not seen Blurr once, rarely do I see anything from PCC wave 2, Battle Blades Optimus is only slightly less rare, and I've only seen Red Alert twice.

And it's all because of those horrible War for Cybertron, and pre-Hunt for the Decepticon toys that are clogging shelves.
Seriously, the only toys I find anywhere are almost exclusively WfC Prime, 'bee, Megatron, and Soundwave.
So Blurr's come and gone, and in my area he was a no-show. I'm predicting POS to be the ruin for a lot of these saught after figures people have been waiting for all year.

Try Walmart but near the cosmetics section or near the Christmas section. They have displays, 1 just of voyager Transformers, usually Battle Blades Prime is plentiful there.

I have not seen Blurr, barely saw PCC wave 2 scouts, seen wave 3 more actually.

Blurr was plentiful in my area for a couple weeks, but haven't seen him since. The stores in my area have moved on to Thunderwing and co. and I suspect it won't be long before RtS hits around here.

Don't give up on Megatron and Soundwave. They are really good figures, too. Sure, you may not care for the designs, but those two toys are awesome.

No thanks. I don't like the game, don't like this new WfC/Exodus/Prime continuity, and I've never had real affinity for the characters of Megatron or Soundwave. On top of being designs I find horribly boring. I really have no reason to waist my money on them when I can barily afford to buy the figures I *do* want.

In my area, walmart is the problem. I have one target, and six walmart within a relatively close distance. 8 walmart if I want to venture into unsafe areas.
And that's basically all the options I have.
What I wouldn't give for even a Kmart.

See, Soundwave is my favorite TF character so he was a no-brainer for me. I rather enjoyed the WFC game as well, so toys based off of those designs were a good idea in my book.

Haven't read Exodus yet, but I'm really digging TF:Prime so far. The 5-part preview was great and really sets up what could become another potential success along the lines of Beast Wars and Animated.

As for their "continuity" between the three, I will continue to treat them as separate entities until Hasbro can fill in/explain the obvious contradictions between WFC and TF:Prime. Regardless of what Hasbro's official position is on the subject.

I completely understand about the money situation, though. There have been many MU figures I've had to pass on because I couldn't afford them and TFs. And no disrespect to MU, but Transformers always come first in my book.

By the way, there are some gems in the HFTD line too. See the previous post for one

See, while I hate the movies, and strongly dislike the movie designs, I will whole heartedly admit there are some fantastic movie toys. It blows my mind, every time I look at RotF Leader Optimus how they so closely replicated his look, in a functional way. And Stupifies me how they managed to do it again, in a Voyager scale!
So, while I hate Starscream's design, his leader class toy impresses me enough that I want it (Even though it's out of my price range). And While I don't like Optimus' design, his RotF toys amazes me.
