Thanks. Had to use mirrors to bounce the light from the color shifting bulb. Clear plastic wasn't picking up the color too well initially. Once I bounced it so the color was hitting in 2 directions, it lit up like a Christmas tree.

I got this guy a couple of weeks ago and I also extremely dig him. He looks amazing under a black light. Something I noticed about the packaging is interesting, the illustration is the same on the back and on the front insert. Previous Kenner tributes with removable masks (Nightstorm, Viper, and Scavage) would have both looks present in their box art with unmasked on one side and masked on the other. I speculate it's because Ambush is a con exclusive so they didn't want to commit more time than was necessary to do the job.

You'd better think of an online alternative just in case, because this is the one that sold out first at pretty much every TRU.

I'm extra lucky, actually, because the TRU near me actually re-stocked all of NECA's convention-exclusive stuff after the first batch sold out. Otherwise, I would've had no chance to get this thing.

Now you know that thrill too, seeing all of the other exclusive stuff maybe feeling a little anxious that it isn't there at all. And then there it is, the very last one, it's so exciting just to put your fingers on it and know that you're prepared to kidney-punch anybody who thinks they're gonna take it from you. That's it, the thrill of the hunt in one of its greatest forms! But seriously though, don't actually punch anybody in the kidney over it just keep a good hold on it, it's not worth getting into trouble with the law over.

Yeah, it's swell nabbing the last one. The only thing better would have been if TRU had gotten in the new GI Joes as well.

Incidentally, they also had gotten in Funko's convention-exclusive (but not really) Reaction Bloody Jaws/Quint set, so I grabbed that for my girlfriend, who's been wanting one badly since SDCC. Made her night.
