The belt is too high. I know it's supposed to be pretty high, but you should at least see the first line under his "pects" on the carapice.

It's not glued in place, so you can move it if you want.

Stretching to find something to fault, I see.

My GF can't wait for Raph. Imma show her this gallery to give her an idea of the awesomeness to expect.

Nice looking figure, but way too big for my taste. Even 12" figures are too big for me. Saw him and BvS Batman at FYE the other day though.

Shells from a pair of 2003 Playmates Turtles with a binocular accessory from an old quarter-scale Darth Maul.

Thanks, I keep trying to improve on it and I'm never satisfied for some reason.

I don't think there is any improving on it. It captures the character's personality perfectly. He is a dork, a nerd, a Lord of the Rings fan. I think it is great because it shows who he is inside true to the original movies. If he had been around when those movies came out he would have borrowed Raph's sport coat and hat and been sitting in the back row of every premier.

I'm content with the pairing of Don and the Gandalf accessories (I'd love to attempt a full head swap, but the construction of the old Gandalf figure is too different; I think I'd just end up breaking him), but for some reason he doesn't photograph as well (or I don't photograph him as well) whenever I add those accessories. It's weird.

...I don't have the space, I don't collect that scale, and it's too expensive for me, but this is without a doubt the best figure NECA made in 2016 (and I'm a huge Alien fan). Fingers crossed a 7" version will be out in 2018 and won't be too hard to get.
