Yes, no thigh swivel, but most have a boot or shin swivel somewhere, allowing you to get similar poses. The hips are a bit limited for super dynamic poses as well, but get the job done for most situations.

I'm the opposite to this review. I think Flash is hands down the best Icons figure out right now. He is the sole reason I have decided to go all in with this line.

HOWEVER, the head on your figure is quite different from mine. For one thing, one of the ear wings looks off. Secondly, the paint job on that face is quite bad whereas it looks fine on mine, especially on the nose where yours has the mask not lined up properly on his nose.

Maybe I got a dud. You have a close pic of your copy's face handy?

I still don't like the red plastic base tho.

The red plastic makes sense though since his entire body is one color.

As for your other question, unfortunately this is the closests picture I have of his face on mine. Never thought about doing a close up shot. Maybe I'll do that when I do more pictures this weel.

I never thought about doing an in face shot with Flash.

Looks about the same, a little cleaner than mine. I dunno, something about the mix of sculpt and paint up there doesn't do it for me.

RE: Red base, it does make sense financially, but some form of wash or highlighting would have been nice if a full paint job wasn't available. Something to break up the block of red plastic. I just don't like colored plastic as the base for any figures, makes it feel like it's a kids toy. I want a collectible, not Wal-Mart fodder for the tikes

See, if the costume is all in one color, I'd rather they used that color plastic than have it be a different colored plastic painted that color. That just never made sense to me (like when Mattel was using the black plastic). However, I do agree that it would have been cool if they had some type of wash over the figure in a different shade of red.

I'm sure this isn't the last time we will see Barry done though. Not to mention they will definitely do a Wally West Flash in the future.

Nice Beetle pics. Like you, I was blown away at how great he turned out. I was going to skip him initially.

Headfirst, man. Dive in headfirst. They don't scale perfectly with other figs, but you might be able to fudge it, especially with Mr. Miracle.

A lot of them can work with the DCU figures, especially the guys who shouldn't be hugely muscular like Flash and Hal.

The only oddity now is it seems like Batman is shorter than some of them.

I'm am really torn on getting this Black Adam. While he looks cool. I just don't know, something looks weird to me. I'm an old school Superfriends type classic look guy. I want to wait for a different version but I don't know if that will ever happen and I might kick myself for not getting this now.

Why do they always release a Black Adam figure but never Shazam? I'm looking at you Injustice line!

Don't you mean Captain Marvel?

Anyway, can someone tell me what the two accessories Lex came with are? Or rather, when he used them? I'm really struggling because they are not from Forever Evil. He never used an energy saw in that story, only Sinestro did. Also, he didn't have that staff thing, he used a lightning rod, which was a standard rod and did not have a hole in its center.

As for Black Adam, I want him, but I just don't have any desire to get him at full price. At least at the $29 my comic shop wants for him. To be honest, I think he looks far better than the design he has had for the last 75+ years.

That's expensive. My LCS has them @ $25 and I still think it's too much. BBTS has them @ $21.99 but of course you have to pay shipping. Pile of loot is the way to go for these.

Well I decided to pick up Black Adam today at a different comic shop. Unfortunately, I bought him from a shop that does not allow returns (and is about an hour out from where I live) and naturally I got my first Icon with a defect. His abcrunch is loose as ****, so I can only pose it in two ways, with him bent all of the way backwards or it all of the forwards. There is no inbetween, which sucks.

That aside, like the others, he is awesome, but he is my least favorite of the bunch. In all honesty, if I didn't already have everyone else, I probably wouldn't have bought him. Nevertheless, that doesn't make him a bad figure, it just makes my love for him lukewarm. Still glad I got him though.

I think the head sculpt and paint on Black Adam is well done. And I dig the lighting hands. But, overall not super into the character (or Shazam). Whenever they drop Shazam, it'll be a nice little battle on the shelf tho.

Agreed on Lex. In fact, this is the first figure of Lex I have ever been impressed with.

Me too, didn't dig New 52 Phase 2 too much, would have preferred this style.

And... Green Lantern is up!

I'm the opposite, I hate the big bulky suits Lex has. But then, I personally prefer business suit Lex since that is how is supposed to be.

Anyway, nice pics of GL. I agree that he looks pretty awesome when you have only parts of the suit on him over the full suit. Although, the full suit is kind of cool.

I think my favorite aspect of this though is that the suit parts can be used with John Stewart when it comes out. Now THAT is awesome!!

As for the 2016 offerings so far, I'm definitely up for Sups, Harley, Aquaman, Joker, John. I'll most likely buy Firestorm and Static Shock, but screw Atomica!! She can get stepped on for all I care.

I know its highly unlikely, but I really hope DC does Darkseid, Orion, Dick Grayson Robin, Mr Freeze, Brainiac, Swamp Thing, Constantine, Dr Fate, Ra's, Jonah Hex, and The Question (Vic) this year.

The only thing I like about the lady Atom (sorry I know nothing about her) is that the Ryan Choi minifigure she comes with is actually articulated. Maybe I can find just him on eBay.
