Most I'm looking forward to is Joker. The rest are cool, Superman close second. I was on time out with DC for a while with books and figs. Watching from a distance. I'm more into the modern stuff. So I appreciate these throwbacks to iconic looks and series, but I'm not drawn to anyone in particular. Just like having a cool well done DCU line up. I'll get em all, and eagerly await modern takes.

I hope they spread into the movies, games, tv shows, cartoons, old and new as well. Just sprinkle them in. Like "what would animated batman look like in this style and scale?" Similar to what they are doing with Black Series Kanan and Ahsoka. Or Keaton Bats, Bale Bats, TV Flash, DCUO Lex, etc. Don't make it a direct representation, or even use the likenesses just an alt verse with the similar suit. That fits in Icons style.

You were complaining that the suit was falling apart? Some of the pieces you have to get just right, and they will stay. Like the shoulder pads. You had those sticking out when they were on him. If you click it on all the way, those shouldn't come off easy.

But with the figure itself! Its an amazing piece!

Is there any way to take the abcrunch piece off without breaking the figure? Black Adam is driving me nuts.

You're right, they will. But my problem was posing him with the armor on. Shoulders pop off, then legs disconnect from each other, then wings pop out of pegholes, then dome piece goes sideways, etc. If you pay attention and do it once, put on shelf, it will stay. But trying to move him around casually into new poses with it on causes something to pop off, in my experience.

I don't have any of that on mine. In fact, the left leg piece is on so tightly that I feel I have to break it to remove it.

The lower leg was one of two ways, either super suctioned in, or falls apart immediately. I've gotten it both ways. Problem is, as I pose him up in different ways I jolt things or put pressure on it, triggers movement and "pop offing". Upper body worse than lower for sure in relation to the suit.

Hey, i just got the Icons Green Lantern yesterday. Overall a great looking figure, but mine got this really loose waist crunch, it's really annoying and hard to pose if included the body armor. The bicep swivel and glove swivel is loosed too. Can you guys give me some advice on how to fix it? Thanks a lot.

I'm just waiting for Static to come out or for them to unveil Sinestro and I'm all in.

Hopefully when they get to Sinestro he will be the Sinestro Corps version. I just can't picture him as anything else anymore.

That would be preferable but I wouldn't put it past them to make GL Sinestro.

It better be. There's a GL one in my local comic store right now, but no yellow lantern one. Make it based off of Cullen Bunn's amazing New 52 run as well.

EDIT: Oh, and can someone tell me why the heck Static is $40 retail? If its double the price for a soft goods jacket, I would've prefered they molded the jacket onto his body instead..... Figure looks great but its expensive.

Yeah, I don't get why he is $40 when GL was $25. GL had a lot more parts and stuff. It seems like BBTS might be price gouging on this one. If not, I'm just going to have to wait for him to drop in price unless he ends up being the best figure ever.

Speaking of deluxe stuff, they really need to have Captain Marvel come with Billy when he is eventually released.

??? I thought the whole point of making ICONS a bit smaller (use less plastic) was to be able to add all the extra stuff in with the figure for the same price. Now they want to charge more for the extra stuff. Not cool.

Yea, he has some nice accessories, can't tell what the jacket is made of yet but it looks glossy and smooth. But it can't be worth adding another $20 to the figure. I could almost get an S.H. Figuarts figure for that price!

And Yea, I'm using GL as a comparison. How did he come out with enough accessories to justify another entire figure in the box but cost only $5 more. I get a feeling something is being priced wrong here, so I'll prolly hold off of preordering it.

Business suit Lex is of course the best Lex which along with Clancy Brown is why I still think his STAS incarnation is the best ever. But when it comes to his mechsuits I've always preferred the bigger ones. Probably because next to the War Machine and classic dark blue stealth armor the Hulkbuster has always been my favorite IM armors.
