I like how the Figuarts Stormtroopers look like they're just having a conversation right behind their boss.

Bandai seems to be on a tear with their Star Wars stuff. I'm really stoked for the 1:12 figures. The AT-ST looks great, but huge!

Interesting that Marvel Legends does a realistic Avengers II Cap, but distorts the body proportions for Thor. Wonder why they singled him out.

Because this isn't meant to be movie Thor. This is the comic-based Thor figure from the series with the Odin BAF.

AoU Cap is looking good. I might get him.

Ya, that Thor is from the Build-A-Figure Odin line. He isn't going to be part of the Avenger's movie line in the US. I'm guessing they won't sell the Odin line in Japan, hence they are re-packaging Thor for their Avengers line. I wonder if this means we won't get an official movie Thor in the next Avengers wave...

I can't WAIT for these!! I know they are mostly repurposed figs, but I'm fine with that because I don't have any of the figs they are based off of. The paint jobs look awesome, extra heads are a HUGE selling point, and the Legend's articulation is always top-notch!

I don't think they're repackaging him at-all. If I'm not mistaken, even the US release of this Thor has the Avengers title at the top of his packaging, even though most everyone else in the Odin wave just has the Marvel logo.

If they were repackaging Thor for their Avengers line, wouldn't he too have the Age of Ultron subtitle? Also, I doubt it would keep Hasbro from putting a movie Thor in any theoretical AoU series 2. If they do one, I'm sure he'll be included.

Good points. I don't remember the packaged Thor image, so you could be right. It just doens't make much sense to me since it's obviously not the movie version. Still a cool looking fig though.

I hope they make a second wave. I know a lot of people were dissapointed they didn't announce an Ultron fig.

Lol, I clicked on the "Disney Expo Japan" link expecting to see pics of stuff like the upcoming Frozen Figuarts figures (not for me, for a friend, I swear, lol).
I really wasn't expecting to see all these Marvel and Star Wars figures !

Even though I've had years to get acclimated to it, I still find it unnerving to see Star Wars and Marvel figures referred to as "Disney" merchandise .
Oh, these times we live in ...

I wonder how much the really big Ewok is? It almost looks life size and life-like the Yoda, not so much.
