Wow. My Vader has an arm that won't move at all, and a loose ankle. Looks like Luke has the intended articulation, but looks like he's the lovechild of Mick Jagger and Barbie. I think the only thing that could save the HyperReal series is Marvel heroes. They will look better in the cartoony style.

I REALLY don't care for this whole "Hyperreal" thing. I'm sorry, but I like to actually see the poseability joints. Call me weird, idec.

NO THANKS. I have seen and heard several warnings about the rubber already degrading, losing shape, cracking, etc. Besides, Hasbro just CANNOT get a good Luke likeness, at any scale. Save your $80, folks. Seriously. |

Bruh, I can't believe that cover image is a photo you took. You're either a wizard or a demon.

You sound like you're never going to be happy with anything short of Hot Toys, because IMO, the last few Black Series Lukes have a nearly perfect likeness.

Tony your shots are again awesome. I kind of feel just like Old Ben would say he looks good 'from a certain point of view'. Because at times, it's great. In others, the clothing just looks gummy and sucks up the light in a way that is unflattering. It's hard with a color like off beige. With Vader, black is so much easier to just have and look at. And then there are the pov where the face looks good or just right, and there are others where he looks like he's going down to Fraggle Rock. Great review and a possible if he comes down in cost over time. |
