Played around with another head swap shot from last night. Tried to match the colors a bit so it's less jarring.

While I wouldn't want this Classics head on this body, it shows that Classics heads are closer to proper, IMO.

I think a tad, like 10% smaller, would work, guessing from the hip.

For some reason I love when a figure has diaphragm articulation instead of the ab crunch. It’s like the ab crunch just really breaks up the sculpt. I’m probably in the minority but I always wished those MOTU classics had a torso more like this line

The ab crunch joint is like having a makeshift splint when you've got a broken bone: it gets the job done and you'd rather have it than not, but it's ludicrous to be denied the multiple superior options and expected to put up with something so outdated, inferior, and obviously stopgap

When I watched the trailer for this series I was like wow this looks like a amazing series. I just want He-Man and I've already got Battle Cat. The figures look okay to me. I will say that head on He-Man would fit better for a Prince Adam figure. I am hoping if this series does well enough they will do a She-Ra series like it. I do not like the current one on Netflix it's too kiddish.

Skeletor I think looks great. He-Man, not so much.

Both are a tad too big. But closer than what came with figs.

Hmm, might grab that Skeletor and do a head swap woth a NECA skull and some putty for a hood!

Great shots and reviews, Tony.

I'm not sure what the were going for with color used on Skeletor's head. But they missed the mark. It just looks dingy. Also not a fan of cowl design.

I saw whatever Skelegod is at Target the other day and I wasn't impressed. The sculpt was fine, but the paint apps seemed incomplete and he had this shiney oily look to him.

I don't know what it is about the pictures in the gallery, but the heads look like they're smaller than they should be. Like someone squished them or something.

Going to give it a shot this weekend. If it fails it will be a spectacular failure. If it succeeds, it will shine brighter than the New TF series coming next week. To me the Netflix TF series is pretty mediocre, with, strangely some of the best moments coming from Soundwave.

MOTU Revelation has an amazing cast, that might be its saving grace. I have an idea what it could be about, and can see the core arc not relying heavily on He-Man.

I wasn't excited for it at all, but having watched the first few episodes I think it's great so far. Not in the same league as She-Ra:PoP because, frankly, Smith isn't as good a storyteller as Stevenson, but still great.
