On topic: despite the fact that Harley Quinn is so weirdly scaled and is obviously a mishmash of different styles, I still find the figure to be fairly adorable looking. If I can find one at retail I think I'll grab one.

I might pick up Green Lantern in the future. The scale of the individual figures is still baffling.

EXCELLENT Photos!
Great scale comparison shots too, thanks for this.

Hellbat & Unchained Supes looks cool.

1 question: Can a head swap be done on Hellbat?

I'm really torn on that classic Harley. The classic animated head on a classic comic body is really confusing. I like it one moment then find it offputting the next, wishing they had included an alternate comic style head. But in the whole as I get used to it, really liking the figure. The scale thing doesn't bother me particularly since I'd display it with other Harleys but I hope they fix it for the line in general going forward.
I really like the Batman, Superman (shame about the elbows) and Batgirl so I might get those as well as the animated Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.

I really, really hope they announce Poison Ivy at ToyFair or something because I've been waiting years for a good Ivy and Mattel managed to drop the ball on their last attempt.

The Animated, Harley, Arrow and Raptor - I will do next week. Along with some more fancy shots.

Do you have a Marvel Select figure? Like an Iron Man for example or other character. I would like to see the different heights, in comparison with Comic and Animated Batman.

Thanks!

Having seen Harley in person, the hammer is really the only thing bothering me. The body and the head mesh well because the body isn't particularly sculpted but her hammer is thoroughly sculpted and painted so it clashes with her simplicity.

Ivy is also one of my most wanted figures especially after Mattel's insult, and there are a number of looks that I'd be fine with. There are a few Bat-villains that I really want that this line could deliver but ideally not at the expense of other heroes' foes.

This is something way outta left field, but if they are gonna go deep roster and pull from everything - I'd like a Smallville Clark and Lex. DC Collectibles are old, out dated, and expensive.

The actor heads have to be on point though, face scan level sculpt and paint.

Stopped in Wal-Mart today and and saw 3 comic and 3 animated Batman figures and all of them had really sloppy paint. Plus the ears on the 3 comic figures were bent against the plastic.

That's easy for me to prove. I have multiple Ebay accounts and you can look at sold items. Please stop saying demeaning things.

I’d like to see some Smallville figures but I’m not sure if I want them from the high school years or the Daily Planet years.

I’d also be down for a Dean Cain Superman.

Agreed. Just saw the Mezco 1989 Batman and I've never been more excited for a figure. Why not continue making multiple figures like Multiverse did with past DC shows. Multiverse Mattel did the TDK Joker, Batman Returns Penguin, 90's TV Flash, and Val Kilmer Batman. Would have been nice to keep them in scale. Would love to see Clark various Blur, Lex, Lana, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, from this line with a Build A figure Smallville Dr Fate. Or even the Doomsday or Lobo from Krypton. Was so bummed when that show ended. Was one of the best DC shows I've ever seen.

I used the head from DC Collectibles Arkham Asylum Batman. I bought the figure used off of eBay so I'm not sure if it came in the Arkham Asylum 4 pack or in the Arkham Asylum 2 pack with Bane. The head looks a little narrow but it doesn't require any painting, dremeling, or blue tac to make if work.

I feel like the Batman Who Laughs is the best figure of the wave. Batgirl isn’t bad either, just way out of scale.
I feel like the proportions maybe went more extreme than the actual cartoon designs, even in the more exaggerated STAS/TNBA designs. Not a fan of the break in the green on John Stewart's shoulders due to the articulation. Animated Superman looks like he has a mullet.

And I'm not sure how I feel about the liberty taking with some of the designs, like the seams on GL's suit or the ribbing on the sides of comic Superman and Batman's suits. Maybe not so bad on non-specific comic iterations but if it's based on a specific show, movie, or comic, I'd rather the designs not be played around with.

I don't have any of those available at the moment. Just Wick, some Gotham and a couple other randoms. None of those are the same scale as Marvel Select tho, since it varies per Select line.

I kinda dig it. It's not how I prefer my Superman but on its own there is visual appeal.
