Holy Crap! Every time you or Joe do a photo shoot, I think "This is the best one yet!". Seriously, epic shots here. The screaming head may be the best I've ever seen on any figure, for that type of expression.

Hehe, thanks. Yeah, its a really good job on the scream head. From side it's a bit weird but not wrong, just used to seeing it from front.

Goddam pictures 99-111 are phenomenal, they look like the kind of images a company would use to promote the figures in the first place. I really hope my Targets stock up on this set so I can easily find one.

Uh, you got his son's name wrong in the title. Did you even play the game? If you did, you would know his name is Boy!

Ha I read the first half of your post and was like WTF I even looked at the box and started to pull shit up before finishing it out.

And yes, even tho it was a joke, played that game hard. First game I 100%'ed on PS4.

Thanks! Hopefully I can get to every pic being like that, easily, and quickly, and then in my sleep.

Depends on the company, NECA is pretty damn good tho

This set is killer. I love it. I passed on the first set but I wont be passing on this one. What do you guys think about the skin color between the two? I feel like the first release showed better detailed paint. The second release looks less detailed or weathered or something. Probably just the visibilty of the details on the solid white vs the pink color.

Personaly I prefer the paint on the original. But, the sculpt does show thru better on this version. The pinkish tone isn't that noticable from a distance when in mix with other figs, with Atreus. You really only notice the difference when you put the two together since the original is pretty damn white.

This is an early copy, and I haven't verified but there could be variances. Not sure what intent was.

Woahhh, some pretty epic photos!!!! I am not even a fan of God of War, but the "fancy" photos are a joy to look at!

The same for one of my friends. I've 100%ed many games on the PS4. GTAV, RDRII, GoW4, TLoU, Assassin's Creed Origins, Horizon, Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and a few others (and will do so to Spider-Man when I play it next month), but I do think this game was exceptional because it did something completely different from the previous GoW games. Not everything worked out the way it should have, but I'm glad Sony went ahead and did something new and different with one of their top franchises instead of just rehashing the same formula over. My only true complaint is the sequel baiting.

how is this a bad thing??
Much like the after credit scenes in an MCU movie, it gave you an (very) exciting precursor of what's to come.

these figures look cool. Someone is going to buy this for me as a gift.

AAAAAA these figures look amazing! The skin tone is more accurate to the game, by the way: They changed a lot for higher accuracy, like the holster for the ace, the skin tone, and Mimir's Eye.

The only thing I'd have liked to be different is the axe. It's fully upgraded by the time we get the blades, so I'd much rather see a fully upgraded Leviathan Axe in this box set. Maybe we'll get it if they make more releases!

(Please make more releases NECA)

There's a difference though. Most Marvel movies are still their own self contained story. It has a beginning, middle, and end. Except for Iron Man 2, Age of Ultron, and of course, Infinity War, they all can be viewed as stand alone movies.

God of War 4 wasn't a completed stand alone story as it didn't actually finish its story. I'm just so tired of all of these video games and movies these days that expect you to buy the sequel in order to get the full story instead of just being a single story.

I am fine with it. It wrapped up the Atreus line, getting to the mountain top, etc. And then confirmed, yes, we are doing another, instead of us having to guess if and when. I see what you are saying but I was good with how they handled it.

I like this set too also my opinion on the skin tone on Kratos in this two pack is that in the game his skin is more like that pink-ish pale look so it definitely looks more accurate. Though I do agree that the original had better details with weathering which is true but nothing a great customizer can fix up even for someone. Also my issue I have too with this set is Atreus doesn't doesn't have any alternative head sculpts like an angry head even screaming head too since he did do that in the game.

Also idk how I feel about those little brown lines on his face. I get what NECA was trying to do with trying to make little freckles that he haves from the game but the execution wasn't the best.

Yeah Kratos is near 8" tall, about as tall as one of their Predators. Definitely in the 7" scale that NECA almost always uses.
