Hey all came across these mostly browsing through facebook any who new Batman TAS figures enjoy , source at the end of the figure pictures ^_^ Two-face [series 2] Mr-Freeze [series 2] The New edition Robin [series 1] The Joker [series 1] Posion Ivy [series 2] NOTE: when i say series 1 and 2 I'm saying what figure is from which series of batman figure , just not to get any confusion between waves 1 and 2 for figures just from the show i.e The joker is from series 1 of the batman show , not this is the first wave. Love everyone, except Robin. They need to sculpt the boots and the briefs instead of pulling a Mattel on us. Also the cape should either be covering both shoulders or behind both, kinda looks weird half on and off, I hope #4 is Animated Batman. I'll be getting this entire line. |

All of them look great. I would prefer the TAS designs, but even the redesigns don't look bad. In the case of Mr. Freeze and Two-face, it kinda helps that their later designs weren't too different from their original ones. Poison Ivy is the only one of them that I would want to wait for a TAS figure. I would want to anyways, this version might be too tempting to pass-up. Especially with no guarantee of a TAS figure being made. I think the fourth wave 2 figure will wither be Harley Quinn or a TAS designed Batman. Either way it'll likely be a TAS design.

I actually really like Robin's cape like that. He was drawn like that pretty regularly, but they could make the over-the-shoulder edge of the cape yellow, like it was in the show. |

The Mr Freeze figure is going to open up and have the spider-crawling mechanism, right? If the paint on these figures is good, these get my vote for line of the year.

These are absolutely fantastic. I hope that they make BTAS designs for Batman and Ivy though. I never really cared for TNBA, aside from Nightwing and Tim getting an animated debut.

If they offer a subscription of these figures, I will definitely subscribe; I want this entire line up, and it has been a really long time since I have felt that way about a toy line. There are not Matty figures though...are they going to be comic shop exclusives, where can I get these in a brick-n-mortar? |

Otherwise I think Amazon, Big Bad Toy Store or Entertainment Earth are your best options. |

Cool, thanks for the info! There are no comic shops anywhere near me, unfortunately, but now that I think of it, there is a media chain here called Hastings that usually carries things from Entertainment Earth, so here is to hoping that I can find these in the wild. There are few sweeter feelings than finding a toy you want in an actual store. I have been waiting so long for figures like this of the Animated Series cast, and I am almost in shock that they are a reality now. 11 year old me would be flipping out about that fact Along with the MP and Generations Transformers, MOTUC, TMNT Classics, and Vintage Collection Star Wars, I finally am getting the toys I wished I had as a kid! The only modern interpretations of toys from my youth that I do not like are the new G.I. Joes, which is sad, because 'Joe is my favorite toy line. Don't know why I shared that...I guess these Figures are making me realize how good we have it now with the cool toys we are getting. Good time to be a Toy Hunter. |

I want PHANTASM from The Animated Movie. OF all things that they brought from TAS to the comics, they never brought over Phantasm. I like to think that Hush was inspired from Phantasm because the similarities are there. Might be why I like Hush so much.

Having now looked at all of the pics, I gotta say that I got damn lucky with the selection they went with. These are my ideal versions of all of these characters. The only one I'm iffy on is Two-Face, but I never cared for either version of him so the two would be equal to me. Quote: Cool, thanks for the info! I think just about all of us who grew up with this show are feeling pretty giddy about this toyline. I liked my old BTAS toys when I was little, but even back then it was always annoying that their arms and legs could only move back and forth. A lot of people are getting hit with a nostalgia bomb because of these. Agree 100% with everything you said. I always wondered why Hush was my favorite Batman villain, and I think you may have just pointed it our for me. Last edited by Poison Shadow; 05-16-2014 at 11:21 AM.. |

Those puny ankles are going to be warped and almost useless on every single one of those figures. I guarantee it.

In a perfect world I'd have their original animated series run designs, however these will all be bought because they are still cool edit: Perhaps they are testing the water, and if this wave is successful they will go back to original designs as well |

It's odd they aren't all from the same series. I like the black cat woman better too. I would like batgirl If she's from new adventurrs

I hope you are not right...I really want toy companies to stop mangling the figures with the packaging. It's those damned inner packaging bubbles, and super tight rubberbands, man...they need to go!

I'll probably pick up some of the figures from B:TAS. I hope we get Poison Ivy in this style. While the updated designs look great for the TNBA cartoon, the designs in figure form are too disproportionate for my taste. |
