Deadshot - S.H. Figuarts Suicide Squad Photo Review - The Toyark - News

Great figure, sculpt, paint, articulation. Smith likeness is bonkers. Toss on the mask, and ignore the movie if it wasn't your bag of rice.

Say what you will about the digital printing, but the likeness is spot on because of it.

Yeah, they are getting better over time. Even at super duper close up, the dot matrix is almost un-noticeable. From normal distances not at all. Really well done here.

He definitely looks film accurate. However, I feel like some paint would've covered up that huge seam on the unmasked head sculpt. That's a bit of an eye sore, unless you have to remove the back of his head for some reason. It reminds me of the Hot Toys PERS system.

not a big fan of Will Smith in that movie..
not a fan of the movie itself

but that figure looks pretty bad ass!! and looks good coupled with the other releases so far.
REALLLY makes me wish that movie was a solid HIT...it had soooo much potential.

I could see this as a purchase...

and yes though at that seam in his head..looks weird.

I prefer BvS minus Doomsday and Suicide Squad over the last few MCU movies outside Dr. Strange.

No political correctness or boring political nonsense like the accords. Just there it is, that is the struggle, their is what needs to be done. I like simplicity.

I think the figure looks dope. Must get for me.

Not much pc going on with Guardians of the Galaxy. That and Suicide Squad finally had 'bad guys' take center stage. i dig that concept in the comics and cinema.

The problem i had with BvS was the plot seemed so forced. Plus the "if we believe there’s even a one percent chance that he is our enemy we have to take it as an absolute certainty,” line...REALLY...1 percent to absolute certainty!

So... anything less than being a complete and total constantly-purposefully-offending jackass at all times is """"""""""""""PC""""""""""""""? And in what way are the Marvel movies any """more PC""" than DC's???

Anyway, despite Suicide Squad being an incomprehensible mess of a movie, I did kind of like Will Smith as Deadshot (not so much for the performance he actually gave, but moreso just that I think he looks like a good Deadshot), and this figure looks pretty damn good. Bandai continues to improve their face-printing tech.
