This is my big hang up on this figure, in the movie more than just his head gets electrocuted.

I think the regular Vader head is okay. It's definitely got that bloated look because of how they made it removable in pieces but it is undeniably Vader at the end of the day. I've heard and read some people's complaints and the way they word it you'd think Hasbro gave us a blob of melted plastic for the helmet. What really bugs me is the people who complain about the eyes having the red paint because in the original movie Vader's lenses had a red tint.

I did a repaint of the Emperor's Wrath Vader head and did a head swap. I actually prefer the original black series head on the newer figure since the helmet is removable, allowing it to fit in really good with the decapitated hand.

^That pic right there shows how much better the new head is. Would like it done by Hasbro that way. I don't have the skills or energy to paint it up right and match.

Jango Fett Star Wars Black Series Gallery

Great photos.

Everything about the figure seems terrific, except the wonky eyebrows! Might have to break down and figure out what paint to use so I can fix 'em.

Thanks, whoops, forgot to post here it was updated.

I agree bout the brows, but helmet stays on so I'm good.

I hate that Boba Fett has an actual official origin at all... I prefer him as the mysterious man with no face that we didn't know anything about. But that said, this Jango Fett figure is pretty sick.

Technically we don't know what Boba Fett's face looks like officially so that's still a mystery. What I mean is he never takes the helmet off on screen so for all we know he's had operations performed to change his face from that of his father's.

You're reaching, my friend. Hell, they even re-dubbed Boba in the Special Editions. Dude sounds like The Crocodile Hunter now.

I'm just going to continue living in a world where the Prequels never happened.

I'm going to come off as biased, but this is probably my favorite figure that has been put out under the 6 inch Black Series banner. I honestly had difficulty finding any fault with it. Amazingly well done from top to bottom. About the only thing that I wish they did was allow the head to be interchangeable as opposed to being a removable helmet. That way we could have easily made some unhelmeted clone troopers.

Jason Wingreen will always be the real voice of Boba Fett to me!

I couldn't agree more.

I saw Jango in stores today with the ST armored Finn and Han and wow, it's like Hasbro doesn't even care to make their faces look good. Every one of them looked like they were hit in the face with a frying pan.

YES. Wingreen was perfect and went with the whole Clint Eastwood-angle on the character.

I seriously can't hang with Boba sounding like: "Wot eef 'e doisn't survoive? 'E's wouth a'lut ta muy!"

But then you wouldn't be able to re-enact Jango's most famous scene: having his head lop off and his head flying out of his helmet before his son picks up his helmet.

Flametrooper is up!

Flametrooper Star Wars The Force Awakens Black Series Gallery - The Toyark - News

I know it's the gear design, but he looks like he had too many cheeseburgers.

LOL!

I agree wholeheartedly. Fett's real origin should remain a mystery, and he is most certainly NOT a clone from New Zealand.

As for the flametrooper, I like it. The armor plate strikes me as unique and rather clever. I wish the helmet resembled the OT helmet a bit more closely, but that's a quibble. The joints are good and it's easy to pose holding the flamethrower.

I quite like the Flametrooper as a design and a toy but I think something went wrong in my area because most of my stores have like eight or ten of the Flametrooper but none of the other figures in his wave and I seriously doubt that every other figure completely sold except for him.

He's the only one 2 to a case in this wave. He's also in 2016 wave 2 revision 1, which some may be getting.

Finn is up.

Favorite of the wave, though they are all good this round. Just like that it's right from the movie.

I didn't know that Finn figure was coming out. It looks awesome! May have to grab it and fill the Finn and First Order Trooper voids that I had in one swoop.

I'm quite pleased with how ep7 Han came out. Yeah his hair is the wrong color and I don't like his gun being a gummy plastic but the face is actually pretty solid and he's a nice presence.

Also seeing them in the same picture again I'm reminded how very much I prefer TFA Chewbacca's head sculpt. The fur colors are better on the original but the expression is only suited for a few poses.
