There's no way to pay $99.99 for this vehicle...

I would like to have it to use with 3.75" scale Marvel Universe Skrulls. Sometimes vehicles meant for a larger line can work a treat with a smaller line. Not sure if they fit even, and I couldn't afford it on my toy budget anyway..... a boy can dream though!

The good people at NECA are dreaming if they think this thing is still worth $100 (assuming it isn't a BBTS price hike) after they decided not to include the pilot.

It wasn't worth it even WITH the viper predator. This this looks cool but it also looks very brittle and easily broken. Maybe 45-50 bucks max for this thing and even that's pushin it.

How can you really say that it looks brittle and break-pone without seeing it in person? NECA has pulled off the look of decay but kept the sturdiness of plastic before. That being said this is still too much money for me to drop on a non-character piece. However the packaging is a great dose of nostalgic joy and seeing the full box should be neat.

I hate how they keep trying to convince us on the price by saying "Over 2 feet long", it is, but a foot of that is the blade on the front end. I really wanted a couple of these Pred Bikes when they got announced (I was not even going to attach the blade to them) just to make some custom hover bikes, but that price is just too much. The Trophy wall was 70$ and ED-209 was 60$ . You are telling me I can either get this or an 18inch Gipsy Danger figure for 100$???
I know what one I would choose. (That would be Gipsy :-) |

I said it LOOKS brittle and fragile......LOOKS. If the same type of material used on NECAS. Figs is used on then this it won't handle much stress just due to the fragile nature of some of the rails and such. AND IT IS WAY outta price range. I do dig the retro packaging but nostalgia ain't enough.

I really like the box and the idea of the toy in general, and I'm a NECA fanboy too. That being said the price on this makes it an easy pass for me, it's almost as much as the Alien Queen yet not nearly as magnificent or glorious of a toy. I don't get many single toys over $50 a year (I budget for other things I like doing too) so if I'm gonna drop close to $100 on a toy the queen easily takes the cake over this. It looks cool and if you're a die hard already have every Predator and can't get enough of the Kenner themed figures then I hope you can catch a sale on this. At least it's wall-mountable to save shelf space, at least I seem to recall that from somewhere.

You're all forgetting that at $100 this thing will probably languish on the shelves until we can all buy one on clearance for $20. That's how I can as able to afford ED-209.

I dunno, 80% off seems like a Black Friday kind of deal. ED-209 was somewhere around $60 so I could see it dropping closer to around $20 in a massive sale. One time my local Hastings had a 25% off sale on select toys (anything that wasn't brand new apparently) which would've been a nice deal on ED, but I passed mainly accounting shelf space. Either way my point is I hope that this goes on sale eventually for everyone who wants one but doesn't care for that initial price.
