So with NECA dabbling in Marvel now with what looks like some commitment I feel like a natural future step will be a Wolverine figure in 1/4 scale. I think that COULD be amazing. With that being said I wonder and worry about the articulation that a Wolverine figure needs in order to be acceptable for that character. Some poses are low squat, deep arm range (back and high), leg movement, and head movement to look up. NECA's recent figures have been visually stunning but their range of motion is very limited especially in the legs and head areas.
What are your thoughts on the potential for a NECA 1/4 Wolverine?
Do you think it would be possible and if so would it be well executed?
What uniform would you prefer?

I believe Randy said they want to get to a comic Wolverine at some point. But which costume would they tackle?

That is great news that I had not heard yet Joe. I have asked Randy on Twitter with no responses. I would suspect that they could potentially do multiple costumes like they are currently doing with Deadpool now. They could potentially do the Tiger stripe and then brown with little to no tooling.
I still think the articulation for a Wolverine figure may be a tough hurdle to clear for them on these figures.

Articulation has been pretty good on their 1/4 scale figures. Their Arkham Batman figure & the new Spidey all look to be pretty solid articulation wise. Double jointed knees/elbows, etc.

I agree the double jointed knees and elbows are great progress in figures of that scale. I worry that a Wolverine figure would need better hip and shoulder range for poses. Honestly though if it looked as good as the other Marvel figures I probably wouldn't worry about the limitations in the hips and shoulders.
