My TMII Blackarachnia was supposed to be here a few days ago, but USPS sent it to the wrong state by mistake and are working on correcting it.

From an old G1 boy, the Beast era was the best time in the franchise' history.
Beat the snot outta G1, and the only thing since that has come even close, is Animated. Everything else pales in comparison.

I think Prime's ready to join those ranks, but Beast Wars did set the bar for quality TF shows. I remember when the first Beast toys hit the shelves and being so angry that they were, well, beasts. Took a little while, but I came around. And a lot of that was due to the TV show.
Now I own about 30 or so BW figures and will eventually complete the series. In the meantime, I definitely want to pickup Shout! Factory's DVD sets before they disappear.

The Beast Wars show was my first taste of Transformers until the RID series I never put 2 & 2 together & understood the fact that they are connected. I watched the Beast Wars showe to its entirety when I was 10 years old & Beast Machines was a good sequel to it since you saw people switch sides & some new characters come into the fray. That set me into watching a bit of RID & the whole series of Armada.

Man I regret missing out on the show and toyline. I stopped after I got primal and megatron. Stupid decision. For years, it was the only Transformers toyline to feature full articulation consistently! It raised the bar.
Ashamed to admit, I still have not watched the whole series. If I could go back in time, I would buy damn near all the Maximals, and the bad ass PREDACONS who kicked ass in the show.

The show was really fantastic. Such a great story line; very well written. The toys were definitely second best, imo, to all TF lines, next to G1. In fact TM Primal was the first toy I bought when I started collecting transformers. I saw it and had to have it.

Loved this show when it was on. Sadly never got into the figures for some reason.

Gonna have to pick up those boxsets sometime... Without a doubt, the best TF series to date.

Thankfully, I'm slowly working towards eventually having a complete Beast Wars collection. Unfortunately, it's a looong way off.
