The GDO's are TRU exclusive and were released in Asia therefore the Chinese language on them and I forget what the GDO actually stand for, but on the TWF site you can find out. Sorry didn't get a chance to look for the actual thread. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. What a weird series with the wild G2-ish colors. I actually still haven't opened the TF: Prime CJ I bought last spring. I'll do a side by side "in package" comparison when I get home. If the head is the same then the GDO version is getting returned.

Can't wait for the latest wave of FoC figs to hit my area... those look great.

Ya if you don't open it up, than they'll def. look the same, only when you transform can you see the real difference other than that the GDO one is just biggier by an inch. Which FOC figures are you looking forward? Bruticus? I'm waiting for Amazon to ship their exclusive and I have the SDCC one he def is a beaut.

plus cliffjumper has a more g1 accurate head.yes its a prime figure with a g1 head.i want the head for a classics cliffjumper,plus i dont own that mold.

I didn't have a chance to play last night, so no comparisons, but from what you and porter are telling me, I'm keeping the GDO and ditching the TF: Prime version (which is MOC if anyone wants him).

As far as the FoC figs I want,.. hell yes on Bruticus! I'm loving that they're releasing each bot individually like back in the day. And I'm not sure what wave he is, but FoC Starscream is a must for me as well. Pretty much anything Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave, are all always must haves for me.

Springer!! I also picked up Wheelie, but I have a feeling I'll return him. I really don't like this version of him (the head is good, but I'm not liking him as Jazz), but it looks like he's one per case/per shipment and since I'm not sure how long these Chinese figures will be around I grabbed him.

Oh yeah,.. I definitely need that Springer.

Springer isn't G1 is he? Keeping an eye for Wheelie even though he's season 3. I figure since I have Blurr I could make an exception when it comes to the vehicles, although I am getting rid of the bikes.

Bruticus is wave 2 and the rest I believe are wave 3, you can get these guys from BBTS but it doesn’t look like you have a problem hunting for TF’s 

Springer wasn't in season 1, but he is indeed G1, my friend. His first appearance came in the Animated Movie.

G2 is easy to spot... they're all in their EXTREEEEEEME!!!!! outfits with the neon colors and love for Mountain Dew.

Fun Fact- he was actually in line to take over as leader of the Autobots a few times.

I am very surprise you didn't get it right away, that is one of the most coveted FE's out there. Man I wish I would have waited in getting them...got them after they announced the cancellation and than had to get them off of Ebay

I don't collect the Prime line. I really don't like the designs. The Vehicon car is really badass looking so I did want to own one of them, but I have the regular version (still unopened) and didn't see the need for another one. I bought Arcee yesterday because the cycle just looked so nice in package that I couldn't resist... there was a regular (not FE) version of her on the pegs too and the FE edition is definitely nicer... more paint apps! The FE CJ was pretty disappointing. The wheels are just unpainted black. The GDO I got is all nice and shiny with silver wheels.

Has anyone heard anything about MP Prime? I know stores got a shipment of him earlier this month, and I'm assuming that they'll get more down the line (seems like that's always the case with TRU MP's), but if anyone knows anything please share.

This week and last week MP Thundercracker has poured into stores around here. This is after they already had a shipment last month, sold out, then removed shelf stickers.

Indeed the FE's are def. better, you should go back and get Vehicon, he's bigger and better like Arcee. I have all of the FE's and keep them MOC, tempted to get them again if I see them, but I already have doubles of the RID line that are opened so kind of a waste, that and they don't have the complete cast and wouldn't match.

Every single time I've bought anything from them, I've had terrible experiences. I don;t like the site's business practices, and their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. And that includes Fun Publishing (TF Club/Botcon guys).
