In a brief interview with MTV Movies Blog, Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner shares his thoughts on how Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is fitting into the void left by Megan Fox's departure from the Transformers live action movie franchise. In addition to this, he comments on how Rosie's character acts as a "catalyst to the action" of the new movie, and teases a bit by mentioning some amazing characters from Transformers lore would be showing up, such as Sentinel Prime - so are we also going to see some other big names beyond him and Shockwave? Only time will tell - but we've yet to find out the identities of some of the characters we know are in the film like the Ferrari Italia, so who knows?

More info has surfaced regarding the rumor of a Linkin Park song for Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
We first heard the rumor thanks to TFLAMB. The info was quickly followed by where Mike Shinoda saying that they haven’t developed a song exclusively for Transformers 3. But, that doesn’t mean they can use an already completed song for DOTM (Linkin Park’s “What I’ve Done” from their third album, Minutes to Midnight was used for Michael Bay’s Transformers 2007 in a similar fashion). It was just an hour ago we learned of their Burning In The Skies "International" Music Video. Now, we have with us a recent interview with Chester Bennington of Linkin Park thanks to lptimes.com. “LPTimes: Are you working on the soundtrack for Transformers: Dark of the Moon? Chester Bennington: I don’t know if I’m at liberty to tell you yet [winks]. But it looks promising. I think we go hand in hand with those films. A lot of our younger fans call us the Transformers band.” What do you think of this latest news? Stick With TFW2005 As We Bring You The Best Transformers News… First! |

Sporting silver abs and new metallic paint, Alfes2000 brings us another United gallery of old geezer Kup. Sadly there are no comparison pics with his Generations counterpart but we do see side by sides with his G1 Targetmaster toy. Will you pick up this release or wait for the E-hobby exclusive? Finally Alfes2000 gives us a United Wreck-Gar gallery. This one does include comparisons with Hasbro's Reveal the Shield iteration, and shows off his brighter paint scheme, lighter helmet and deleted chest flames. Are you troop building your junkions or sticking to one version? Let us know and view the gallery by clicking above.

Internet Automag Eurotuner has posted an exclusive article regarding a certain character from the upcoming Michael Bay movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The character in question is none other than “Q”. Rumored to be an inventor and a friend of Wheelie, the Vehicle Mode of “Q” is a modified Mercedes-Benz E550. Eurotuner explains that Michael Bay, contacted Claus Ettensberger at CEC to help design the newest Autobot for the upcoming action thriller. The conversion included new custom blue paint, which was specifically chosen by Michael Bay to make the character stand out. The CEC enhancements incorporated a custom aerodynamic kit with a front spoiler, side skirts, rear apron, trunk spoiler, fenders, suspension and exhaust system. The stock wheels were replaced with CEC C725 forged wheels (20x8.5” front, 20x10” rear) and Michelin PS2 tires (245/30R20 front, 285/30R20). The article also contains an upclose look at the vehicle mode. |

The Official Transformers Collectors Club have shared a couple more cool new images of the upcoming Botcon Stunticons on their Facebook page. First up is a group shot (vehicle mode) of all five Stunticons. As anticipated, they all look awesome together! Next up is the resin version of Motormaster's head sculpt. as you may have heard, the reveal last Thursday was defaced out of the factory with a big X that had to be photoshopped out. This time that's not an issue - check out the lovely - and menacing - visage that the team have given the Stunticon Motormaster.

2005 Boards member Masabon has shared with us some information on the Japanese release of Transformers Dark of the Moon. To the left of this text you can see the Japanese version of the film's logo. If you can read Japanese, you might also notice that the title of the film is a little different. Much like how Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was simply Transformers Revenge in Japan, Dark of the Moon has also undergone a very subtle change for it's Japanese release - in Japan, the film will be titled Transformers Darkside Moon, or possibly, Darkside of the Moon. Japanese fans will have to wait an extra month to see the movie though - its Japanese release date is July 29 2011.

Scans of the Transformers pages of the latest Figure King are up, with thanks to Toy-World.com.hk. This edition has three pages dedicated to Japanese Transformers releases, and covers Wave 4 of Transformers United (featuring Rumble & Frenzy, Wheeljack, Decepticon Scourge and Laser Optimus Prime). These new scans show Wheeljack has robot mode storage for his wrenches!
There is also a page showing off the first two Japanese Dark of the Moon (called Darkside of the Moon in Japan - thanks Masabon!) releases Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. This is the same image that's been circulating for a while, but is now high enough resolution to see the new weapon on Optimus Prime properly, and also see how the Darkside of the Moon Optimus is the Dark of the Moon Optimus, just repainted slightly. The third page shows the next couple of Masterpiece series releases - the Rodimus Prime sound base, and Convoy Last Edition, who also comes with a sound base that will reveal the next Masterpiece, and some other new accessories - though I'm not sure if they are blacked out in the scans, or if that black thing is the new accessory and it's a cape or something. Last of all, are some new cards for the Japanese Transformers Animated arcade game. These cards have robot and alternate modes of certain major characters from throughout the franchise, and they come as pairs - so when you put your two Rodimus Prime cards together, you get a double card width image of robot and vehicle mode Rodimus in all his glory. Whew, lot of good stuff there. Read on and check out the scans. |

Kapow Toys Blog, by way of Dave at allthecoolstuff, has shared with us an image of our very first Dark of the Moon store exclusive toy! This Starscream is a redeco of the Revenge of the Fallen Voyager, in a style not completely dissimilar to the Target exclusive Deep Space Starscream. This new Starscream is also a Target exclusive, and comes with a free comic book. Check it out by clicking on the link above.

Sad news, friends. According to Snakas, the latest issue of Kero Kero Ace in Japan reports that Transformers United as a series will end in March, with Wave 4 and the E-Hobby Exclusive three-packs. UN-22, Laser Optimus Prime, will be the final release in the line.
There is currently no word on what Takara-Tomy will be releasing in April, but May will see the Japanese launch of the Transformers Dark of the Moon line, which by all indications will feature some alternate decos and different accessories than its US version. |

MSN TV have updated their Transformers Prime episode schedule with information on the 11th episode of the series. Episode 11 will be titled Speed Metal.
The bad news though is that the episode is not slated to air until 4/8/11 - so Transformers Prime will be taking a three week break following 11 March's episode, Deus Ex Machina. |

ACToys have shared some images of Generations Thundercracker in package. These images show off the awesome packaging art of the Decepticon who questions his alleigance, as well as showing the cardback with the bio! Our resources page for Generations Thundercracker has been updated to include the new bio, so you don't have to squint at the image - unfortunately Thundercracker's doubts in his cause have not carried over on to the new bio. Regardless, read on to check it out and see the images!

An update from Botcon for you all now. For those of you who missed out on the first two official convention hotel blocks, a third block has now been added. The third hotel is the Pasadena Courtyard hotel, just six blocks walk away from the convention center. The block has been enlarged by the Botcon staff to ensure everyone can get a room - but with Botcon getting more popular every year, why take the chance? Head on over to the official Botcon homepage for more information.
Also, remember how in years past there was much gnashing of teeth and angst about getting the coveted first 100 pin? Well, that is now a thing of the past! This year, rather than the first 100 registrants getting a pin, it is going to be a "first day" registration pin. So if you register within the first 24 hours after registration goes live, you'll get the Botcon 2011 commemorative pin. There was also a brief update on registration - it's not yet live as some last minute venue issues are being resolved. Something special in the works, in the process of being finalized? We'll know soon enough - and we will let you know right here on the TFW2005 frontpage once registration is available. |

TFW2005 Boards Member Shockwaved brings us scans from the latest Empire Magazine (April 2011). Guess who’s on the cover… It’s Sentinel Prime and the “all-new” Optimus Prime.
Inside the magazine (who once praised this very site for uncovering the Title of Transformers 3) are some scenes from the movie and Spoilers. Take a look at the images (big thanks, Shockwaved) and spoilers (Thanks to knook), After the jump. Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon will hit theaters on 1st of July, 2011. |

Nelson; the administrator of the Official Michael Bay Website has updated the site to let fans in on some information.
First of all, Mr. Michael Bay has been filming some Pick-up scenes for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, very recently. In the film industry “Pick-up Scenes” are small, relatively minor shots filmed or recorded after the fact to augment footage already shot. To clarify matters more, Nelson says that it had nothing to do with the recent Space Shuttle Discovery Launch. Also, we have a sad news to share as well. According to S4TE, Transformers 3 Production Office has been burgled. Nelson says…“Burglars broke into the production offices of the movie. Federal authorities have been called in due to the sensitive nature of the burglary.” Finally, this is an update to our recent News Article “Empire Magazine Features Sentinel Prime And Optimus Prime From Transformers: Dark Of The Moon”. TFW2005 Member TheSpacebridge has sent us a couple of High Resolution Scans from the images inside. Thank You, Sir! |
