Love the music of Transformers Prime? Then have we got good news for you! The composer of the awesome orchestral score of the new show, Brian Tyler, has updated his web page with a small banner to the effect of "Transformers Prime Original Sound Track: Coming Soon".
No other information is given, but it is great news for fans of the music, and collectors of Transformers soundtracks everywhere. |

Hamatoys have shared some images of the next two Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Action Set Assortment in package. The third and fourth releases in the Action Sets are where this assortment seems to start hitting it's stride - we get Optimus Prime and Megatron themselves, but rather than the figure and vehicle pattern of the Bumblebee and Starscream in the first assortment, we get the figure plus a trailer! Optimus Prime comes with his iconic trailer, which turns into a battle base, or attaches to the figure as battle armor of a different design to his Ultimate Optimus Prime release. Megatron is very cool, he features his full Mack truck mode in vehicle mode, splitting into robot and battle base for robot mode. The battle base can then combine with Megatron to give him his own winged super mode - I'm pretty sure this is a toy only addition, though.
Check out images of both Optimus and Megatron, kindly mirrored on our 2005 Boards for us by news submitting superstar S250! |

Some more news coming out of Hamatoys today - this time out it is the Dark of the Moon Bash Bots. These are part of the Robo Power sub-assortment, and feature and Autobot and a Decepticon that you can bash into each other. The real revelation here is the back of the package which reveals just how the "Smash and Bash" action works - much like the brief scene in the Superbowl trailer, these sets invite you to bash the two included vehicles together and they will both auto-transform to robot mode to "battle".

One of the great things about the band JAM Project, who performed the Japanese theme song to Transformers Animated, is their live concerts. At a recent live performance, they performed a different version of Transformers Evo, which has been uploaded to Youtube by Youtube user Alpha21danse. Check out the embedded video below:

Takara-Tomy have updated their website with a page for the upcoming Masterpiece series Convoy Final Edition. The page does not give much insight into what new additions the mold will have, beyond the sound base that will reveal the identity of the next Masterpiece release. Nonetheless, enjoy the new official product pictures on the page.

We've got another great new Transformers Dark of the Moon toy here for you today, courtesy of ebay seller kiditoys. Okay, maybe "new" is a slight exaggeration - it is a redeco of Landmine, from the 2007 Movie line, in the style of a Lunar rover. There's only the one vehicle mode picture for the time being.
We also don't know where this toy might be coming out. Presumably given the lack of a Mech Tech accessory, it might be another store exclusive release like the Voyager Class Starscream redeco we saw at the weekend. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. |

Undertow is the last new mold Power Core Combiner planned for release, in the final fifth wave of two packs. A list of new Takara-Tomy Dark of the Moon toy listings has been circulating around the internet. This new listing confirms that the Cyberverse series and certain other toys are getting a Japanese release, as well as a new Optimus Prime and Bumblebee variation. Plus, there are two new toys on the list - Mudflap and something named Condor. But way back when in Japan, Condor was the name of Laserbeak. And there was that mystery birdlike thing in the Superbowl trailer... Hmm...
Read on for the full listings, then join in the discussion and the speculation on our 2005 Boards! |
