Oh, don’t say you don’t know who Don Jeanes is! Watched the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Announcement Trailer? Yep, that's him alright… Neil Armstrong from Transformers 3.
Recently Don Jeanes had a chat with Skewed 'n Reviewed regarding DOTM. "I play Neil Armstrong in Transformers: Dark of the Moon and it was an amazing experience. Actually, I never got a script — I was given sides to audition with, but they were just a vague outline of the actual script. Director Michael Bay did not tell me this, but apparently he’s had many attempts to hack his computer and steal the script so he is, justifiably, very guarded with regards to the script. Cory Tucker, who plays Buzz Aldrin, in the film, and I were shown a page of script while Michael held it in his hands on set. I can say that when my agent called me to tell me I booked the role, I was here in my apartment and fell down yelling for joy on the floor!" Read what else he has to say at Skewed 'n Reviewed. |

It should be noted however that Erector actually does the voice of Gregg Berger, so a vote for Grimlock is really a vote for Erector. |

This sexy recolor of United and Reveal the Shield Jazz will be a Million Publishing Exclusive with the Transformers Generations 2011 book. He's a homage to Jazz's 1987 Japan-only Targetmaster recolor Stepper, whose deco you may recognise from the Alternators series or the Commemorative Reissue series, where on both occasions he was named Ricochet.
More information is set to be released on 27 April. For now, enjoy the images. |

Alberta Film Ratings, which provided us with useful Transformers Trailer data in the past, is listing a new trailer named “Transformers 3 : Dark Of The Moon(trailer #2)”.
Taking into account the recent comments made by Director Michael Bay and Nelson Lauren, this could very well be the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon trailer due out this April 28. The trailer is rated “PG” and has a running-time of 2:24. You are able to enjoy the trailer with Fast Five or via Apple Trailer. And yes, the trailer will be here at TFW2005 the moment it hits the Internet. |

If you like 3rd party items and you want more likeness of G1 Megatron in your life then you may find some interest in this upcoming offering from MasterShooter Collectibles. Here we have a collection of test shot images of the upcoming Mega-Gun miniature figure which would appear to be a small Megatron inspired Targetmaster type of toy. The images show off the item in both it's robot mode and alt mode as well as how it works with a couple of Transformers.
According to TFW2005's Sidecutter in our discussion thread, this item will be exclusive to Captured Prey and will sell for $18 with pre-orders available now. A second figure named Brown King (which appears to be a Mega-Gun repaint) is also available for pre-order for $18, or you can order both items for $35. Production run for each is limited to 500 pieces. |

Seen is a nice new shot of Bumblebee in billboard format, similar to the one we just saw of Optimus Prime last week. Along with that, we have shots of Shia and Rosie, plus Michael Bay directing. Steve Blum; voice of Transformers: Prime Decepticon "Lord" Starscream had a chat with the same people who interviewed Don Jeanes.
Skewed 'n Reviewed asked Steve regarding his work with Transformers: Prime… "...Starscream has always been one of my favorite characters – especially as played in recent years by the great Charlie Adler and also the great Tom Kenny! In fact, after hearing Charlie’s recent performances in the films, I felt I had to get his blessing before I could even accept the role! By the way, what a gentleman – love that guy! Tom’s a hell of an act to follow too – jeez! It’s very hard for me to take over a character that has been so masterfully portrayed – especially when my friends are the previous portrayers! I didn’t try to consciously copy anything that had been done before me, I simply did what came naturally and apparently (thankfully) they liked it!" Steve Blum also mentioned an upcoming Transformers Video Game. Whether this is the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Prequel Game, the MMO Game based on Transformers: Prime Universe or something else is unsure at the moment. "...If you’re speaking of the newest Transformers game – WAY too early to talk about it, methinks. Lasers trained on my temples. In the past, I’ve played a lot of bots – good and bad, including Barricade and Breakdown. Vocally stressful, but any time I get to live in the Transformers universe, I’m grateful." Here is a new oddity for those of you who like the non-toy Transformers merchandise - Transformers Dark of the Moon Dog Tags. Just like the ones released for Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon's release will be accompanied by dog tags. Each pack also contains temporary tattoos and decals. They are blind packed, though, so no guarantee you'll get tags of your favourite character. Click on the link above to see the listing on Big Bad Toy Store.

New images and information of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Ultimate Optimus Prime has surfaced online.
Description Lead the Autobots to final victory with the Transformers Dark of the Moon Ultimate Optimus Prime action figure. The leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime is ready to battle the Decepticons for the last time with this transforming action figure. Take to the roads in Trailer Mode, with Optimus Prime in his disguise as a Peterbilt 379 lorry truck and trailer. When danger strikes the Autobots, Optimus can detach from the trailer and transform into Robot Mode, to take on the situation head-on. And if the threat becomes greater still, the trailer transforms and combines with Optimus Prime to engage Power-Up Mode, equipping him with extra armour and a set of wings. Hidden inside the trailer is a blaster weapon, which Optimus can fire in Power-Up Mode, and features lights and sound effects. The Ultimate Optimus Prime figure requires 2 AA batteries, which are included. Transformers fans aged 5 and up will have great fun battling the Decepticons with this awesome action figure. Features

TFW2005 Boards Member Sidecutter is sharing with us the images he received for Transformers: Dark of the Moon Japanese (Takara-Tomy) figures.
According to Sidecutter, most of the images are replaced with placeholder images thus making it hard for us to get our first look at Voyager Class Sentinel Prime and Cyberverse figures #18 to #23. But, these new images prove that Takara-Tomy Ultimate Ironhide is indeed same as the Hasbro Leader Class Ironhide as speculated by our members when the info first showed-up. There is a better look at the upcoming Jetwing Optimus Prime as well (the regular version, not the black exclusive version). |

There has been much buzz over this year's announcement of Shout Factory's upcoming release of the Japanese Transformers Headmasters series. One thing fans have been hoping for is that this would mean subsequent releases of Masterforce and Victory, and thanks to a post by Shout's own Brian Ward on the Shout Factory forums, we now have more light shed on that topic.
I can say that you should expect follow-ups of at least Super-God Masterforce and Victory. I can't really make any promises, regarding Scramble City or Zone at this time. That being said, Headmasters will certainly be used as a rough gauge of the series' popularity. After all, it is the only one of the three that is a direct continuation from S3, so we wouldn't necessarily expect the same response to the subsequent series. Followed later by (in response to if there would be a release set of all three series): Unfortunately, I can't reveal the release strategy, until that information is cleared by PR and Hasbro. But I will say that I'm currently working on all three sets, in hopes that the sales of Headmasters will prove the others are worthy releases. So what does this all mean? The sales of Headmasters will be used as a gauge to see whether other releases will be possible. While it sounds like we can somewhat count on seeing Masterforce and Victory, if fans want to see a release of Scramble City or Zone then it is up to them to support Shout and these upcoming releases. Who knows what could follow after that? Beast Wars II? Beast Wars Neo? R.I.D.? |

Here's the news that you have all been waiting for - Shout! Factory have announced that they will be doing a complete DVD box set for all three of the Transformers Takara Generation 1 series! The Headmasters, Chojin Masterforce, and Victory, together three of the greatest Transformers series that you never got to see, are set for a 13 DVD set in July 2011. The price is $99.99, but the preorder on Shout Factory's own website is $89.99. The set is slated to include art galleries and original toy commercials, alongside the original Japanese audio and English subtitles - but unfortunately, no dub. This is also true of the individual Headmasters DVD release which will also be subtitle only.
This news comes to you via TV Shows on DVD. |

According to Entertainment Weekly... "Today, ‘Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro presented a seriously detailed creation for Chevrolet at the New York International Auto Show. That’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon star Bumblebee straddling a Chevy Camaro. We’ll find out how Buddy pulled it off — not to mention transported it — on the June 20 episode of TLC’s Cake Boss. That’s some nice integrated marketing for the Michael Bay film, which opens July 1." Like I said before...Just when you think you’ve seen everything… Something like this comes along.
