A new image has been released by iGear on their Facebook gallery (requires registration), showing various elements of their upcoming PP-05 Ironhide and Ratchet unofficial custom Masterpieces. It's still not clear what the toys will actually look like - this montage just shows parts of the arms and head concepts. The shoulders are definitely going to take inspiration from the Masterpiece Convoy style, though, and the Ironhide will feature armcannons like his Movie counterpart as well as what looks like his old battlestation from his Generation 1 toy.
iGear has previously teased that something might be unveiled at TFSource's booth at Botcon. If this is the case, we might be finding out more about this release very soon. |

We've got a bit of news here that Dark of the Moon Human Alliance fans have been waiting for - Human Alliance Roadbuster has been released. Roadbuster has shipped out from Hasbro Toy Store earlier this week, and bricks and mortar sightings have followed from multiple Arizona based members including Stune who took the picture shown to the left.
As if this was not enough, 2005 Boards member StayingintheBox has shared a review and a detailed set of images showing off all that is Human Alliance Roadbuster - the design, the gimmicks, the battle mode on the already heavily armed vehicle mode. Read on and check out his review and images! |

The promotional campaign for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon The Album is just as big as for the movie (Well, maybe not that big…. But you get the point). So, if you have subscribed to the newsletter of Transformers 3 Music Website, you may have even gotten an e-mail by now.
Linkin Park announced that they are holding an Artwork Competition. There are plenty of creative folks here at TFW2005. Guys, this is for you. Read the rules and regulations and if you qualify, you may become the lucky winner to have the poster you designed be seen at the Transformers: Dark of the Moon World Premiere at Moscow. Also, you can have a private video chat with the band as well as getting the poster you designed signed by the band. Brief video, after the jump. Paramore teased us today with a little taste of their upcoming song for the third movie. The song is titled “Monster” and will be available with the TF3 Soundtrack CD. And in other news, there is a video of Dave from Linkin Park who traveled to Haiti to see firsthand how the United Nations is helping Haiti rebuild, fifteen months after a major earthquake. If you listen from the beginning of the video to the 2:25 mark, you’ll hear the Iridescent Piano Theme which is rumored to be featured on the Transformers 3 The Score. Continue on to take a look at the video. |

Some are speculating this might have been a "surprise guest" at this year's BotCon convention, happening next weekend in Pasadena, California. If that was the case, the surprise guest has spoiled the surprise!
Steve Blum, known most recently to Transformers fans as the voice of Starscream in the Emmy-nominated Transformers Prime series, announced in an interview with AFTimes that he will be attending the annual Transformers convention next weekend. How big is Steve Blum in the voice-acting world of Transformers? Well, for ROBOTS IN DISGUISE fans, he voiced Dark Scream and W.A.R.S.. For those of you in to video games, Barricade and Shockwave were his from Transformers: War for Cybertron. He may have also played characters like Wolverine in Wolverline and the X-Men and Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and, well, pretty much any video game produced in the last 10 years. He also revealed that he, and the other voice actors, will be reading an episode script from Transformers: Prime. This brings the total number of BotCon guests to 1,504,642. Join in the discussion! |

After so many rumors, here we are with the confirmed running time of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
According to the Official Michael Bay Website, the running time of Transformers 3 is 134 Minutes (in other words 2 Hours and 14 Minutes). As our good buddy fallen_revenge said... Grab a big bucket of popcorn and plenty to drink, put on your 3D Cine-Masks (give the Bumblebee mask to your girlfriend, make sure your friend bring one as well)... Enjoy the movie! |

TFW2005 Member Starscreamsfan is bringing us a news and an image to prove that James Horan (voice of Transformers: Prime Wheeljack) mentioning Tony Todd (The Fallen of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) is the voice of Dreadwing for the said series.
He also mentions that Wheeljack is a recurring role. With the photo (mirrored here on the news post) Mr. Horan says... "Tony Todd, Bob Orci, and me at a party in Hollywood 5/24 to celebrate the Daytime Emmy nominations for the animated series, TRANSFORMERS PRIME. I'm recurring as the voice of "Wheeljack", Tony is the voice of "Dreadwing", and Bob is exec. producing, along with partner Alex Kurtzman. This is the team that also gave us the newest TREK movie, and is currently working on the second!" |

Transformers@TheMoon has posted some images and a review of Transformers Vault. The book has revealed a prototype of a forthcoming figure and this is no ordinary toy… this is Prima; The first Transformer created by Primus and part of the Original 13.
The toy wields the iconic sword (The Star Saber) with the Matrix of Leadership attached to the hilt. Last year at the BotCon 2010, there was a discussion regarding the Original 13 at the Hasbro Designers Panel. What will be in store for us this year? Find out next weekend as TFW2005 News Crew is ready and waiting to bring you the coverage live. |

A small update on this year's Transformers Collectors Club exclusives, Animated Transtech Cheetor and Generation 2 Ramjet. An email has gone out from the club, specifying that they will be shipping out to those who preordered after Botcon (after all, the club doesn't want them to arrive and you're not in because you're chilling with us in Pasadena).
Cheetor will also be available at Botcon 2011 as he did not sell out completely on preorders. As a perfect accompaniment to this year's boxed set I'm sure he'll sell out fast though. |

There's been a decent amount of buzz on the third party custom Transformers scene over the last couple of days, with a couple of new kits and add-ons announced. While nothing truly groundbreaking has popped up, these might be of interest to some of you guys:
First up, a pair of upcoming releases from CrazyDevy. Their CDMW-22 and CDMW-23 have both been revealed over the weekend. CDMW-22 is an upgrade for Generation 1 Menasor - it's a new head. Does it work for you? It's pictured at left - check it out. Discuss it on our 2005 Boards here. The second CrazyDevy release is CDMW-23, a Predaking upgrade. This one is something you might have been waiting for - fully articulated hands with adjustable knuckledusters. It looks pretty awesome, though it is pricey as is the way with CrazyDevy items. Link to discussion thread. Next up is Studio Beezleboss' next release. You may remember them for the Devil Horns Cliffjumper upgrade set, now they're back with a yellow version of the kit matched for Bumblebee. The head is yellow, allowing you to have your yellow Cliffjumper homage, and he comes with black versions of the guns. Discuss it on our 2005 Boards here. Finally not a new reveal but there are also some in-package images of the Captured Prey exclusive Master Shooter Megagun and Brown King. Sidecutter of Captured Prey also reports that these are in hand and will be released at Botcon 2011 in Pasadena CA - so if you are curious, be sure to head on over to the Captured Prey booth and check these out for yourself at Botcon! Discuss it on our 2005 Boards here. |
