Few months back there was a report of a possible Human Alliance Soundwave toy for Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Here we are with jimmynguyen41 of TFW2005 who has stumbled across a Walmart product placement page for the said figure. No images yet but the price is $29.96. Shipping Weight (in pounds): 0.77 Product in Inches (L x W x H): 5.0 x 10.51 x 5.98 That’s all the data we have. Hopefully, if the rumors/speculations are true... the figure will come with Laserbeak and Carly. |

As promised, Botcon organizers are sharing convention news via their Twitter account, giving us the big reveal of Animated Minerva as the Customization Class exclusive! Minerva was a character from the Generation One Japanese series Masterforce and commands big bucks on the vintage market. And now a lucky few Botcon attendees will create their very own update in the Animated line!
Minerva is a redeco of Animated Arcee, with new head antennae. Class participants can choose from G1 or Animated styling, per @Botcon. Check her out with either antennae set in full resolution by clicking the thumbnail! |

BotCon 2011 is officially 24 hours away (customization classes started today, pre-registration pick-up with exclusive attendee toy reveals is 6pm PST Thursday, making it 24 hours from now) and TFW2005 is beginning to arrive! But for those of us who have early morning flights tomorrow, the news is rolling in from some of the special guests already attending the pre-show festivities - namely David Kaye.
The fan-favorite voice actor (Beast Wars Megatron, Armada/Energon/Cybertron Megatron/Galvatron, Animated Optimus Prime) tweeted a picture of himself and the legendary Peter Cullen. Does this mean Peter Cullen is the special, unannounced guest to BotCon 2011? Considering that he is a California native, it's not out of the realm of possibilities... Stay tuned for more BotCon 2011 news as it comes in. Including first word of the unannounced, no-leaked-images-yet attendee figure sets... |

Previously we broke the news of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Mobile Game release for Java based platforms. Here we are with the images and information regarding the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad version (iOS version).
Kotaku has posted a teeny tiny article along with images. In the mobile version of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, players step into the giant metal feet of Optimus Prime or Bumblebee as they battle their way through 14 levels of misguided but lovable Decepticons. It sounds just like the movie! Ops and Bee can transform into their vehicle modes at will, taking advantage of what little stealth is afforded by being a giant blue and red truck or a gleaming yellow sports car. Along the way they'll upgrade their weapons, because it seems like the sort of thing a game like this should offer. Continue on for the images. Update: We received an official word from EA Mobile. "Transformers: Dark of the Moon game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch! In the only official mobile game of the movie, play as Optimus-Prime or Bumblebee as you take on nefarious Decepticons like Megatron and Shockwave through more than a dozen levels. Available the same day the movie hits theaters." |

And the collective moan of those who chose NOT to go to BotCon this year can be heard across the globe.
Those in customization classes were able to pick up their convention sets today, along with the freebie figure. Thanks to numerous TFW2005 staff (and a certain Animated creator), we can reveal that it is none other than Animated Fisitron, based off the fan-favorite Ironfist seen in the IDW comics "Last Stand of the Wreckers". The mold is the Animated Cybertron Ratchet/Ironhide figure and features a new head (see the pic). The on-going rumor has this figure being repainted and sold in a set of two to three as a troop-builder set of Animated Autotroopers. Stay tuned... UPDATE: Name correction ... it's Fisitron, but it is based off the "Last Stand of the Wreckers" character "Ironfist'. We've also uploaded a picture of the character's tech-spec, thanks to TFW2005 staff member and WTF@TFW Podcaster GogDog. UPDATE 2: The club exclusive comic confirms the attendee figure sets as Sideswipe and Toxitron (1800 sets), Shattered Glass Set: Galvatron and Thundercracker (1500 sets) and Autotroopers (1500 sets) |

Although the festivities have already started, BotCon has announced that Peter Cullen will be joining his castmates of Transformers Prime during the script reading that will take place at BotCon 2011 on Saturday at Noon. Joining Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) will be Tania Gunadi (Miko), Andy Pessoa (Raf), Kevin Richardson (Bulkhead), Steve Blum (Starscream), Josh Keaton (Jack), and Markie Post (June).
In addition, the cast will be available for a very limited number of autographs after the reading. Side Note: For all registered guests, the Transformers Collectors Club booth will have a special Let’s Make a Deal session on Friday at 2PM. They will have a lot of one of a kind left over pieces/parts and complete figures from past exclusives and convention sets. |
