Thanks to 2005 Boards member netkid, we have a better look at the concept behind these flip out figure. An illustrator named Luis posted an image of the Optimus Prime Flip-Out concept on his website. The flip-out functionality allows the robot torso and appendges fold up into head...leaving you with a giant floating head!
