Target have updated their website with official images of the second of their two Cyberverse exclusive sets, Ironhide and Leadfoot. Ironhide comes in his blue offroad colors, while Leadfoot gets the screen accurate Target logo on his chest. While we saw official pictures of the Bumblebee and Megatron set a while ago (images can be seen in our Resources section - shameless plug), we've never seen official photography of this pair - until now. Check them out and enjoy!

Hasbro.com had put up the instructions for the upcoming Cyberverse Commander Guzzle.
This figure should prove to be popular among fans due to him being a main player in IDW's "Last Stand Of The Wreckers" comic series. Not to mention, it's a fantastic looking update to the G1 toy. Is this Hasbro's first attempt at sneaking a "Classics" figure into the Dark Of The Moon toyline? You decide! Follow the discussion link below to get a sneak peak at Guzzle's transformation! |

A potential repaint of the Cyberverse Sentinel Prime mold has been found via Hasbro's PDF Instruction Archive. Named "Dark Sentinel Prime", could this be a black repaint of the mold? Considering the PDF files are in grayscale, the exact color scheme is unknown at this time. We'll keep you posted here at TFW2005 for when that news breaks but until it does, feel free to speculate away in the discussion thread!

Takara-Tomy have also added a page for the Cupie Optimus Prime, if you like your Transformers with a side of nauseatingly cute. |

News continues to slowly trickle in for Kaiyodo's upcoming Sci-Fi Revoltech Movie Optimus Prime. Another prototype image has been released, showing off some of the toy's accessories.
Aside from having his swords that were shown in previous toy show photos and official images, Optimus Prime seems to come with five gun parts with Revoltech joints that allow for customization/variation of weapon loadouts for this toy. Another tidbit revealed in the same article seems to be that the sword also uses a Revoltech peg to plug into the arm, taking the place of a hand. |

When it comes to “Transformers”, MTV is as enthusiastic as we are. TFW2005 had the pleasure of revealing things they’ve learned and MTV shared the Transformers news we find. Just to tell the world how cool we all are as Transformers Fans, MTV is sharing the following pic.
![]() In case you are wondering what’s behind Josh Wigler, that’s the big bundle of stuff Hasbro sent over to them in a lovely box, shaped like Optimus Prime’s Trailer. Update: TFW2005 got a Gift Bundle too. Thanks Hasbro! You can check additional pics of the box and contents, from the one TFW2005 got, here. Josh Horowitz of MTV is currently in Moscow, Russia getting ready for the big day; June 23rd 2011 – The World Premiere of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Take a look at what MTV got to say… here! |

Cyberverse Commander Hatchet, the third of the Decepticon Dreads, has been released! This highly anticipated release converts from jet to beast mode, and is also evidently in Transformers Dark of the Moon - though potentially with a different alternate mode. He was spotted at a New York KMart by 2005 Boards member Nuubu. Although not reported, we are also assuming this means that his wavemate, Battle Steel Optimus Prime is also out in the wild.

Jim Shooter has posted a new article on his blog focusing on the secret origin of The Transformers. Did you know that another company aside from Hasbro was planning to bring over a line of Japanese transforming robots under the name Mysterions? This company was named Knickerbocker Toys.
Initially Knickerbocker Toys went to DC Comics to make a Mysterions comic. Then they went to Marvel Comics. Here's an interesting excerpt from the article, documenting Hasbro's involvement: The next day we learned that, just before our meeting, Hasbro had announced that it was acquiring Knickerbocker. Shakeup, indeed. The deal with Knickerbocker fell victim to the takeover by Hasbro. The Hollywood term for similar events is “turnaround.” Projects begun by previous administrations are automatically put into turnaround, that is, on hold—usually permanently. Here endeth the story of the Mysterions. That’s a good break point, but I promised some of the TRANSFORMERS tale, not just the prequel, so I’ll press on for a while. Some months later, the Hasbro exec who was Marvel’s main contact, Bob Prupis, came to my office. He pulled a few toy vehicles out of his bag and proceeded to open and unfold them into ROBOTS. They were bigger and much more complex than the Mysterions. Different Japanese technology, same general idea. Hasbro, he said, had the rights to the technology and toys based upon it. The problem, he said was story. He said that the Japanese storyline associated with the toys wasn’t useful. Japanese kids, apparently, don’t require much justification. Cars become robots, robots become cars. Well, of course they do. What do you mean, “why?” Read more after the jump! |

Tokyo Toy Show may be over, but the news somehow continues to roll on out! Thanks to the (Potentially NSFW) Japanese toy website Moeyo, there's now a gallery of the Dual Model Kit display from Takara-Tomy's Tokyo Toy Fair booth.
Showing off both the pre-panted kits of the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from the line, the gallery also shows off the sprues for this model kit; the most surprising of which being the clear and pre-chromed parts for the Optimus Prime kit. |

Yesterday, Linkin Park updated their Twitter Account with a baffling tweet…
If you "Shazam" TV & radio ads for Transformers 3, you'll get a download of a live track, plus have access to more content from the film. Sure enough… it seems as though they are referring to a NEW Transformers: Dark of the Moon Trailer also featuring Iridescent. Got some brand new footage… check it out! (To make sure that you guys are not confused... they have removed the Spoiler Scene and added a Decepticon ship scene to it.) |
