The hunt begins again, I suppose! The Walmart exclusive of Track Battle Roadbuster (which is a redeco of the Roadbuster deluxe from the first wave) has been sighted at three different Walmarts in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. This toy appears to be in a case all by itself, similar to how the Walmart Exclusive Deluxe Optimus Prime was released.
A bit of a fun fact, this redeco is actually based on a real life redeco as the NASCAR itself has been redecoed into several other variants including this color scheme, which was used for some DOTM concept art. Have you recently found anything in your area? Want to share that information with your fellow Transfans? Swing on by the Sightings forum and share the love. |

You may have already read TFW2005’s coverage of Transformers Ongoing splitting into two titles; More Than Meets The Eye & Robots In Disguise (If you haven’t read… go read. But mind you… Spoilers!). Both issues are set to release in 4 different covers each in January, 2012. But, as some of you noticed, the covers combine to form one single image each.
Transformers artist Alex Milne is handling the More Than Meets The Eye cover while Marcelo Matere (who is also another famous artist) handles the Robots In Disguise cover. Joining them are talented Priscilla Tramontano, and Josh Perez to take care of the awesome coloring. Thanks to the DeviantArt accounts of the artists, we are treated with the inter-connected covers. Take a look... after the jump. |

Some new images have been posted on ACToys showing off the latest prototype images of the TFC Toys Dinorobots. All five of these not-Dinobots are now shown in their dino modes, as well as a shot of the combined mode. No shots of the individual robot modes are offered, but there is a look at the assembly line where these prototypes are being made, complete with a glimpse of something in robot mode off to one side. Could it be one of these Dinorobots or one of the Starcats robots that these seem to be coming out with?
Read on and check out our mirror of the images. |

Rakutan shop Toysanta has updated with some new images of Kabaya Transformers Gum Wave 4. This new series of Transformers candy kits has a few other features we were previously unaware of - namely, the Rodimus comes with two face stickers (I am guessing the head is interchangeable somehow?). One sticker has the youthful Rodimus, while the other sticker has the more weathered Rodimus Prime face. The two faces go together nicely with the bonus parts from the three sets, which together form up Rodimus Prime's trailer. Also shown is Victory Leo in his Victory Saber combiner parts form, although the final Kabaya Victory Saber is not shown - you'll have to buy the set to experience the Transformers Gum equivalent of the Victory Combination for yourself! Click on the link above or read on to check out the images.

Action Figure Expo will be collecting new toys at the show this Sunday to help underprivileged children during the holidays. As toy collectors we all remember the joy of receiving new toys at Christmas and want to ensure as many kids as possible get to experience the same feeling. If you are attending the event please bring an unopened/unwrapped toy to support those less fortunate this Holiday season. Bring an unopened toy and get into the dealer room 15 minutes earlier than your ticket time.
The 8th Annual Canadian Action Figure Expo October 30th, 2011 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel - Toronto Airport 655 Dixon Road, Toronto, Ontario. We can confirm many of the same dealers from TFcon will be at this event. The show features a huge selection of vintage 80s toys and all the latest releases from today such as Transformers (vintage and Japanese imports), Super Heroes (Marvel, DC etc), Star Wars (new and vintage), GIJoe (vintage and modern), Wrestling, Masters of the Universe and tons of other Action Figures and collectibles. Crazy Devy have unveiled their latest Generation 1 upgrade kit. CDMW-27 is an upgrade for Omega Supreme, intended to upgrade his claw arm. The picture is unclear other than showing the tips of the claw angled further inward than normal, but product listings suggest that the new claw parts will be articulated to allow up to 90 degree inward movement.
The upgrade kit is set to release in December, and is up for preorder through our sponsors: Crazy Devy CDMW-27 at Big Bad Toy Store Crazy Devy CDMW-27 at TFSource |

The latest from Gameinformer's coverage of High Moon Studio's Fall of Cybertron is all about Autobot Jazz. Optimus Prime's lieutenant in the original cartoon, Fall of Cybertron is set to see Jazz take the role of a playable character. The article has some spoilers as it goes into detail about how Jazz fits into the story, and there is also some examination of how Jazz's personality is integrated into the way the character moves and plays. A key feature discussed in the article is how Jazz has an emphasis on speed - his levels are large and multi-tiered, and Jazz can traverse them using his signature grapple ability, which older fans might remember from the earliest episodes of Transformers Generation 1.
It is also mentioned in the course of the article that Cliffjumper is also expected to be a playable character, and that he and Jazz have a "buddy cop" kind of dynamic between them. Click here to check out the full article, then discuss it on our 2005 Boards. Be sure to check out the full artwork of Fall of Cybertron Jazz on the second page of the article. |

Mastermind Creations have released a whole bunch of new images of their Terminus Hexatron aka third party unofficial Sixshot. The new images give an impression of the size of the piece - it will rival Dark of the Moon Leader Bumblebee in height, in other words, it will be approximately Leader sized. Last few days, we’ve been hearing a lot about Director Michael Bay, Jason Statham, Shia LaBeaouf (Sam Witwicky) making comments regarding the floating rumors. But what about the current Transformers Live Action Movie star actress; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley?
Well here she is addressing the possibility of her (as well as Shia and Michael’s) future involvement with the Transformers Movie Franchise. "We'll see about that," Huntington-Whiteley told Los Angeles Times, Monday at the Hollywood Awards, seemingly doubtful about LaBeouf's statement. Asked if the actor could be persuaded to return for another "Transformers," she replied: "I think so. He'll kill me for saying that." We are yet to hear the official announcement which is said to happen soon. But, on many interviews and on his official website, Michael Bay mentioned that he won't be returning to direct another TF Movie. |

A solicitation for the Tomy diecast vehicle brand Tomica surfaced today, providing some in-package images of the non-transformable representations of both Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Both of these toys depict these characters from their Dark of the Moon representations. Notably, this is another DotM toy of Optimus Prime that includes his trailer (thus making it slightly higher in retail cost than the Bumblebee).

Some more images of the TFC Toys Dino-Combiner group have been posted over at Action Figure Checklist. These new images show the group of five not-Dinobots in dinosaur and combined mode, and for the first time ever, in their individual robot modes! These new images indicate that the five have varying degrees of Generation 1 influence in their design - while Swoop and Slag look very muck like updates of their originals, Grimlock and Snarl have less resemblance, while Sludge ends up looking rather generic. Check out the images and see for yourself.
Meanwhile on ACToys, closeup images of the remaining three in dino mode have been posted. We've seen Swoop and Grimlock's dinos before, shown here in higher resolution are Snarl, Slag and Sludge. |

The latest addition to my collection - and subsequently the TFW Transformers Toy Galleries - is Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Legion Soundwave. The first of three new Soundwave toys coming out over the course of the next few months, Legion Class Soundwave is a nice affordable version of the Decepticon Mercedes SLS AMG. Nicely detailed and featuring a simple yet effective transformation, Cyberverse Soundwave is a pretty fun little toy - though one with a few balance issues in robot mode. Click on the link below to check out our gallery, and then hit the discuss button to read my in-depth review. Dark of the Moon Cyberverse Legion Soundwave Gallery |

The latest Transformers Fall of Cybertron update from Gameinformer is a timeline, showing the events of Transformers War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron in relation to each other, and also to events covered in the Transformers Exodus and Exiles books (Exiles is merely alluded to). There are some hints - spoilers potentially - at what might be coming in Fall of Cybertron's plot in this timeline. Check it out - this is the closest we have yet seen to a definitive timeline of this continuity, although all indications within the article state that this is High Moon's timeline, and not the official Hasbro timeline which also incorporates Transformers Prime.
