It's not just UK based fans who are getting some good stuff from the "Laminated Book of Dreams" (aka Argos). Argos have updated their website with new official pictures of toys we only found out even existed a couple of days ago! Shown here in official pictures we have: Voyager Class Megatron in robot mode, Deluxe Class Vehicon (new mold) and Bumblebee redeco (with a new head!) again in robot mode. Cyberverse Energon Driller with Knockout is also shown, and can be seen at left. Official pictures of Cyberverse Legion Evac and Mirage - a red RotF Legend Sideways redeco - round out the update.
Also of note, these pages seem to confirm the size classes are getting name updates - Deluxes, a name that's been around since Beast Wars, will now be Revealers, while the Voyager Class which came in in Transformers Cybertron will now evidently be called Powerizers. |

We don't normally report on "news coming soon" items, but we thought you might like to know when the Transformers Collectors Club were planning on potentially opening up preorders for their exclusives Shattered Glass Drift and Runabout. According to a recent post on Twitter:
Right now, the TENTATIVE date for Runabout and Drift pre-orders are last week of January. Maybe even the last day of January. Please note the use of the word tentative - this is all subject to change and it may slip back into February. A later post on Twitter when asked if these are going up this week received the response: Most likely no. Trying to have a buffer between Iacon and the Runabout/Drift orders So there you have it. The most likely day for preorders going up is probably the 30th - 31st of January. Stay tuned to for more information as it becomes available to pass on to you. |

Hot on the heels of the release of Transformers Prime toys in the UK, comes a variant discovery! 2005 boards member Moriarty has discovered an Cyberverse Optimus Prime Unmasked Variant. If you dug how Optimus looked sans mask in the show, this is an unexpected variant to look out for.

Spiderprime23 managed to get his hands on the all new Powerizers Megatron today, and shot a video review! This figure was kept under wraps right up until very, very recently. While fans have been looking forward to a version larger than the 1st Edition Megatron from the 1st Transformers Prime Entertainment Pack, was the Powerizer worth the wait?

Pretender Skywarp of Seibertron.com has posted an image from the instruction sheet of Powerizer Optimus Prime, which shows a possible alternate head sculpt! It looks unmasked. You may recall in recent times, Hasbro has often foreshadowed future retooled/repainted Transformers with different heads in their instruction sheets.
Will we see this at Toy Fair 2012? Stay tuned. In the meantime, take a closer look after the jump! |

Transformers: Prime Toys aren’t the only Prime related stuff United Kingdom getting this year. On the December 2011 edition of Royaltie$ Magazine, it says that Spearmark; a leading manufacturer and distributor of children's licensed housewares and lighting is to distribute products based on Transformers: Prime under Hasbro’s permission.
This writer got his hands on the magazine and read below for the excerpt… Hasbro Inks New International Deals "Hasbro Global Licensing reached an agreement with Spearmark to make Transformers Prime and My Little Pony back-to-school and household items, such as lunchware, drinkware, and lighting. These items will be available in the summer of 2012 in the UK and Ireland. Hasbro signed a licensing agreement with Universal Cycles Ltd. to bring to market skates, bikes, helmets, and other accessories based on the Nerf brand. The new outdoor recreational goods will expand the current line, which includes Nerf-licensed skateboards and scooters. Universal Cycles’ Nerf range will be sold exclusively at Toys “R” Us in Pan-European markets now through spring 2012. Ingo also signed on to create Nerf-branded electronic accessories. Products will be available this winter in Spain and reach the rest of Europe spring 2012." Spearmark's official website is now updated for the upcoming product release. "Roll out with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and the rest of the heroic Autobots as they battle the evil Decepticons. Now that big bad Megatron has returned with a mysterious and dangerous element, Team Prime must prepare for an epic battle. But that's not so easy when they have to guard over Jack, Miko, and Raf -- three normal kids who’ve accidentally discovered the Autobots. As Team Prime works to defend Earth from destruction, the drama gets just as intense as the heavy metal action." |

We've got a few more quick pictures of Transformers Prime Powerizers / Voyager Class Megatron for you now! I was lucky enough to pick one up earlier today and believe me, this is an excellent release. The robot mode is very accurate to the animation model, the spaceship mode is also pretty accurate, though the main attraction is definitely the robot mode.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out a whole bunch of them after the break! |

Some interesting news for you now. A solicitation document from Takara-Tomy is doing the rounds, detailing items for the new mainline Transformers Prime series from Takara-Tomy. This document appears to confirm that an Airachnid toy is in the works! The bottom left corner of the scan also shows a (very, very small) picture of some prototypes, one of whom was identified as Breakdown.
So far, so groovy. Next up, there are some pictures of some new Mini-Cons. These are new molds, and seem to be more like Targetmasters than ever before. These would be the same ones seen attached to the remolded First Edition Optimus Prime in this news story. Now we know what their secret is! This news comes to you from Kapow Toys by way of Full Metal Hero. |
