Massive Black has updated their website with some neat Transformers: Dark of The Moon Concept Art.

The art includes how Optimus Prime's Trailer would transform (Gun, Shield, Stealth Force etc.), Laserbeak, Weapons, Vehicles, Humans and Movie Posters.

Check it out and leave a thought at the thread. We’ve mirrored some images for this news post too.

Here now for your enjoyment courtesy of SydneyY is a gallery of the second of the two Tokyo Toy Show 2012 exclusive Transformers! Shining Optimus Prime is a crystal version of my personal favorite toy of 2011, the Voyager Class First Edition Optimus Prime from Transformers Prime. This crystal version manages to look even more impressive, thanks to the glow that the translucent plastic gives the toy when light hits it. Don't just take my word for it, check out the gallery and see for yourself:

We've received an update from the good people at Kansas' very own Transformers convention, TFExpo, letting us know that they have added another guest to the line-up. Artist Matt Frank, who has worked on the Transformers Collector's Club comic strip Flash Forward along with IDW's Godzilla comics will be available to meet fans and sign autographs throughout the day. Check out his awesome "Transformers VS Godzilla" art to the left of this story for a sample of Matt's great work.

Matt Frank will be joining previously announced guests Garry Chalk and the Integrated Media Group, who helped work on the visuals for the 2007 live action Transformers movie. TFExpo is taking place in Wichita, Kansas on 4 August 2012! Head on over to the TFExpo homepage to preregister now, and please bear in mind if you plan to preregister not to wait too long, as the final deadline for preregistration is 8 July.

The official Transformers Facebook page has updated with a screen capture from the Transformers Prime video game, coming this Fall from Activision to Nintendo Wii, DS and 3DS. The screen capture shows the five Autobots of Team Prime epicly facing the sunset with their human friends. The version this screenshot is from is not specifically mentioned - but it captures the feel of the series nicely, I'm sure you'll agree. Check it out by clicking on the thumbnail to the left of this story.

The official Transformers Fall of Cybertron website has updated its characters section with two more characters. Now added to the site are the Autobot Jazz and Decepticon Soundwave. Jazz curiously has a different colored head to how he is depicted in game, with this version looking more like the Movie series version of Jazz. Both characters have their bios and special abilities given - Jazz has his well-publicized grappling hook, while Soundwave naturally gets the ability to eject minions from his chest.

Stay tuned for more official unveilings of characters - there are four more slots to go!

We have learned a little more on the Million Publishing vs. United Artfire details! Coloring will be different, Million Publishing will include two partners, Nightstick and Sparks, the UN version will include one, likely "Nightstick" but that is not for sure. The million publishing version will be limited, UN-32, will not. There may be more differences such as packaging, etc. If you want to change your preorder accordingly, please email customercare@tfsource.com now, so that we can modify your order!

After more than 3 months of silence from the web, Director Michael Bay talked a bit more about his upcoming movie; Transformers 4. For those who usually stay away even from the tiniest spoilers, this news post contains what he mentioned about the plot… you are warned.

“It’s not a reboot," Bay said, reiterating that the new film will have an all-new cast. "That’s maybe the wrong word. I don’t want to say 'reboot' because then people will think we’re doing a 'Spider-Man' and starting from the beginning. We’re not. We’re taking the story that you’ve seen — the story we’ve told in three movies already — and we’re taking it in a new direction. But we’re leaving those three as the history. It all still counts... We’re moving on to something different.”

Director Bay mentioned a bit about the plot as well...
"That feels like the way to go, doesn’t it?" says Bay. "I want to go a little off [the planet] but I don’t want to go too sci-fi. I still want to keep it grounded."

And the budget is less than what was allocated for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. This time it’s a relatively small (in terms of movies like this) budget of $165 million.

Looking forward to Regeneration One, but have no comic book shops in your area? Well good news! TFW2005 Boards member Bot Marley has recently contacted IDW regarding the whether or not the series will be coming to mobile devices and received the following statement: "The new series starts 7/11 in the IDW, Transformers and comiXology apps. We will also release the free comic book day issue on that day."

Transformers: Regeneration One is the highly awaited continuation of the original Marvel Comics Generation One comic run that takes place 21 years after the events in Issue #80 and will be released monthly for 20 issues starting in July.

For those of you looking not only for a new Cyberverse Commander, but a new character to the Transformers Prime line, the hunt begins anew! You can handle it now as Cyberverse Ultra Magnus has been sighted in a Toys R Us in Tucson, Arizona. Presumably this means his wave-mate, Nightwatch Optimus Prime, is also out in the wild! Thanks to 2005 boards member pscoop for visual proof! Happy hunting!

Not to be outdone by the reports of a wider-retail released Artfire, Million Publishing have posted up a few new images of their own Artfire. The mold uses a hybrid of Inferno and Grapple parts to create a unique design, and comes with two Targetmaster partners rather than the one reported to come with the United version.

He also looks awesome when paired with Million Publishing's Stepper, Artfire's fellow Targetmaster.

Last but by no means the least on this new toy day, we have our first confirmed retail sightings of Transformers Prime Deluxe Wave 4! Wave 4 consists of a stealthy Shadow Strike Bumblebee, the evil Decepticon Dead End and the sinister Airachnid! Again they are popping up in Walmarts, we have sightings in the 79th and Peoria WalMart in Peoria, AZ as well as in the Hazleton, PA Walmart.

An interesting comment from our 2005 Boards members Stune and jru42287 is that both found this assortment in Walmarts which did not stock the previous wave featuring the Vehicon, Knock Out and Hot Shot - so if you like them were unlucky enough to have never seen these in your local Walmart either, you might want to go and take a look in case there is a trend developing here.

That wraps up all the new Transformers Prime sightings on this "new toy day". Happy hunting everyone! Hope you find something new!

Next up from Arizona we have the first general retail sighting of the Transformers Prime Cyberverse Vehicles assortment. We knew this assortment could not be too far away when they were stocked at Universal Studios Hollywood, evidently they have now managed to begin moving from warehouses and stock rooms onto store shelves! This assortment features Wheeljack with his Starhammer (Jackhammer) spaceship, and Knock Out with an Energon Driller. They are retailing for $19.99, great value considering you get a cool Cyberverse Legion toy along with an awesome little vehicle that can take up to three Cyberverse toys. These were found at the Walmart at 79th and Peoria in Peoria AZ.

Are you ready Transformers Prime fans? Someone, somewhere must have decided that today is new toys day! We are getting reports of lots of new Transformers toys being sighted at US retail. First up are the Transformers Prime RC Cars assortment, which were spotted in K-Mart. These cute little RC Car versions of Bumblebee and Knock Out transform from cars to robots - the box boasts it is an R/C conversion so they may even transform on their own, how cool is that?

More sightings to come! Stay up to date with the latest in your area by checking out our Transformers Sightings section.
