With all the news of new toys over the last few days it might please you to know that there's been a new toy sighting bringing us that little bit closer to the new toy goodness from the San Diego Comic Con 2012. This time out we have a sighting of Transformers Prime Cyberverse Legion Wave 3 for you. This assortment includes Decepticon Flamewar, based on a Botcon character seemingly with a copy of Airachnid's backstory. Also in the assortment are Quickblade Bumblebee and Hyperspeed Wheeljack - marking the first time that the Wheeljack toy is available individually. These popped up at the Walmart in Richmond Texas.
Happy hunting everyone! |

Yes, you are reading that right. With now less than two weeks to go before Europe's largest ever Auto Assembly rolls around, the dates for Auto Assembly 2013 have been announced and ticket bookings are already open for 2013. But that's not all, there's also a brand new way to book your tickets available!
Auto Assembly 2013 has been confirmed to be returning to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in Birmingham in the UK. Next year's convention will be held over the weekend of 9-11 August 2013, so be sure to put those dates in your diaries now! Tickets are already on sale, priced at £50 for an adult weekend pass, with very reasonable hotel room rates (£62 per night for a double room) also arranged. As a bonus, if you book in August, you can get a special discount on a weekend ticket to the same cost as tickets to Auto Assembly 2012 - that is, a special rate of £45. Alternatively, Auto Assembly are now offering a special scheme where you can buy a "pass for life". These special passes for attendees and dealers offer the choice of paying a one-off payment to guarantee yourself a place at all future Auto Assemblies for as long as the convention runs. For a standard attendee the price is £150 - so if you plan on attending every year it will pay for itself very quickly! One final Auto Assembly 2013 update - there are going to be three voice actor guests again next year, all of whom are set to be announced at Auto Assembly 2012. Look forward to the announcement! Find out more about all of this at the Auto Assembly homepage! On a side note, you may also be interested to know that the Auto Assembly Kitbash / Customs competition has been announced. Check out the full details in this thread here. |

Yes, you read that headline right, there is a Transformers Complete Drift Hardcover collection in the works, according to Amazon's UK site. Right now there is no indication on what is contained in the hardcover, but with a 152 page count in there, it seems likely that the hardcover will collect the four issue miniseries exploring the origins and motivations of Drift, along with Transformers Spotlight: Drift.
Transformers: Complete Drift Hardcover is set for a January 2013 release. |

Here's some interesting news for you - the upcoming Transformers Kre-O Microchangers are blind-bagged so in theory it is down to luck which one you get, but in fact, there may be an easy way to figure out which one you are getting.
According to 2005 Boards member Fishformers who picked these up at a local comic store, the front of each package is stamped with a number, which lines up with the product numbers of the Kreon Microchangers. The product numbers are as follows: Spinister: A1007 Galvatron: A1008 Sunstorm: A1009 Crankstart: A1010 Scorponok: A1011 Waspinator: A1012 The trick is to look at the number stamped at the bottom of the front of the packaging, as highlighted in one of the images attached to this story. See how the number ends in 2? That is your way to tell that Waspinator is lurking inside. In theory this means look for ones ending in a 9 to spot a Sunstorm, or those ending in 8 to unleash the madness of Galvatron. Time will tell if this is a reliable way to identify all the blind-bagged Kreons - but we thought it was solid enough to pass the word along given other blind-packed products have done similar things in the past. |

Holy exclusives, Batman! Here's an unusual one to add to the list. Three more versions of the Gari Gari Kun Transformers crossover release have been revealed - this is the one also known as "that Japanese one that turns into a popsicle".
First up is a Grape Gari Gari Kun Robo. He's an exclusive item to the Gari Gari Kun Festival in Shibuya Paco, which is running from 7/14 to 7/25. We are able to share a full gallery of this purple recolor with you by way of the Tagoal Blog - head on over to check it out. Second and third, there are also prize campaign or Lucky Draw Gari Gari Kun Robos in the works - there's a gold and a silver one, according to posts on this Japanese photostream and Autobase Aiichi on Facebook. No word on how one can go about getting these - but they are very shiny! |

By way of Farmer on HK-TF, we have some official pictures to share with you of the upcoming Asia-exclusive reissue of Generation 1 Sixshot. This premium-grade reissue is packaged in robot mode in a bookstyle box, and features chromed weapons as opposed to the flat gray of the original and previous reissues. The main toy deco is unchanged.
According to 2005 Boards member Cadbane, this piece is set to be released at the Animate Festival in Hong Kong this August. |

A couple of batches of new Fall of Cybertron news for you today as we get closer and closer to the release date for the PS3/360/PC game. First off, it's been confirmed (apparently for the second time, as stated in the thread) that a demo for Fall of Cybertron will be coming out before the game will be released. It is unknown at this time what platforms the demo will be released on.
Secondly, the Fall of Cybertron website has been updated with many new screenshots from the upcoming game- including some nice shots of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Cliffjumper, Grimlock, Swindle and Bumblebee. Read the full story for all of the images. Finally, MTV Multiplayer has posted a wrap-up of the SDCC 2012 Fall of Cybertron panel with the game's voice actors. To read up their report, check out their blog post over here. |

By way of two new Amazon preorders, we have confirmation of Transformers UK Classics Volume 4 and a new volume 2 of G.I.Joe Vs Transformers. According to the preorder, the new Joe Vs Transformers volume will feature art by Mike Miller and written by Josh Blaylock who were the creative team for the Devil's Due G.I.Joe vs Transformers crossover books. This is the first time IDW Publishing will reprint any of the Devil's Due Transformers related comics. Hopefully, if a volume 3 is released after this, it will consist of the fourth volume of G.I.joe Vs Transformers: Black Horizon. Which has only been collected in the Joe Vs Transformers Omnibus previously.
Transformers UK Classics is scheduled for a December 11th release and will contain issues #113-145 and include the 1987 Transformers Annual and the Transformers/Action Force crossover, "Ancient Relics!". Transformers Vs. G.I.Joe Volume 2 is schedule for a December 18th release. Note; The image attached to this news story is just a place holder and will not be the cover of the new trade paperback. |

Hasbro has updated their website with a demonstration video for their upcoming Transformers Prime Remote Control figures. Seen in this video are Knockout, Bumblebee and Optimus. As demonstrated in the video, the figures drive and transform via remote control. They can also be switched over to a fighting mode, allowing Prime and Bumblebee to pummel Knockout in almost a Rock em Sock Em fashion.
Embedding is not available yet, but for now you can watch the video on Hasbro's website. |

Is it true? According to micechat.com, yes. Orlando Parkhopper has acquired poster art suggesting the theme park's next big attraction and when ride goers and fans can expect it!
Orlando Parkhopper just acquired a bit of poster art that indicates what Universal Orlando’s next big attraction might be and when it may arrive. Transformers: The Ride 3D has posibly been fast-tracked and may now be under construction at Universal Studios Orlando. The innovative, blockbuster attraction is a design wonder that creates an expansive ride experience with a relatively small footprint. With a streamlined construction timeline, Universal could be attempting to get the ride up and running in a year and a half. Is this a hoax? Is this realistic? Rumors began swirling when the building known as Soundstage 44 was suddenly demolished at the Universal Studios Orlando theme park. So sudden was the demolition that a haunted House for this years Halloween Horror Nights was actually in mid-construction within the space when word came to demolish the building. The building is now completely leveled, and Universal is about to put up construction walls that will reveal the new addition The week of June 11th, walls suddenly shot up and the building was gone within a months time. For the time being, take this as a grain of salt until we get official confirmation from Universal Studios Orlando. |

From Glu Mobile's Transformers: The Game to EA Mobile's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, there had been many Transformers mobile games under many genres including Platform, Turn-Based and even Social. There are some unreleased games as well.
However, with the advancements of iOS and Android, mobile games are now more popular than ever. This may have been a reason for the new initiative between Hasbro and mobile game developer; DeNA. "DeNA Co., Ltd. and Hasbro (NASDAQ: HAS) have entered into an exclusive three-year agreement to develop and publish mobile games based on the TRANSFORMERS™ franchise. The first TRANSFORMERS game from DeNA will be released on the Mobage™ social gaming platform for iOS and Android mobile devices worldwide, with the exception of Japan, later this year." We have received a Press Release announcing this new partnership and you can read it after the jump. |
