The AT&T U-Verse listings have updated with another new listing for an upcoming episode of Transformers Prime. Out of the Past, the second new episode following Hurt, has a slightly confusing description which is probably missing an "a" somewhere in there, but it hints at a new character being added into the mix - or possibly two! We'll find out when the new episode airs - read on for the full description.
It's also worth nothing that AT&T reports that this episode will air at 4pm ET on 8/31/12 |

TFC Toys have released some final product images of Photron, their take on a three-robots into a camera Transformer in the style of Generation 1 Reflector, on their Facebook page. Photron rather than slavishly recreate Reflector instead goes for the whole "Robot in Disguise" angle with a very realistic version of a DSLR camera. The watermark on the pictures also names the individual components as Re-Lock, Hi-Reso and Optic-Zoom.
Please note this is an unofficial product not officially licensed or endorsed by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy. |

Have you ever wanted a tattoo but didn't want to spend the time, money or endure the pain associated with getting one? Well, you're in luck my friends. Toys R Us has updated their website with a new product listing for an upcoming Bumblebee Face Tattoo. This temporary tattoo will be perfect for kids who want to dress up as Bumblebee for Halloween, but don't want any kind of lousy mask or helmet getting in the way of ingesting as much candy as possible.

Photos have surfaced over at ACTOYS.net of new color prototypes of the first two members of TFC Uranus. A silhouette in the background shows what appears to be an SR-71 Blackbird, and should be the next aerial team member reveal.
It is also being reported that Uranus will deviate slightly from the five-member team he's based on, and may include a sixth figure. Will this be a new airplane-former, or an accessory pack akin to TFC's recently released Rage of Hercules set? Head over to the discussion thread to share your thoughts! |

It's Friday and that means it is almost time for the weekend! And with the weekend comes not one but two slices of all-new Transformers cartoon entertainment for us to enjoy. On The Hub this weekend it is the season finale of Transformers Rescue Bots, a double bill no less! The two part story involves time travel, a mad scientist and guest stars Optimus Prime and Bumblebee! Tune in to The Hub tomorrow from 12:30pm ET to check out the season finale.
To get you excited for what promises to be an awesome finale, MTV has uploaded a clip of the season finale (which naturally contains some spoilers). Our fellow fans over at Seibertron have also got a couple of stills from the new episode, which you can check out here. |

Thanks to a listing on Amazon.com, we now have a confirmation that Shout! Factory will be releasing the second season of Transformers Prime on Bluray on November 6th. There are no images at this time, but there is a description listed on the product page.
Unicron is defeated but what was thought to be the end of the Autobots' darkest hour is actually proving to be just the beginning! The centuries-old war pitting Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) and his team of heroic Autobots alongside their most trusted human allies-Jack, Miko, Raf, and Special Agent Fowler (Ernie Hudson Ghostbusters)-against Megatron (Frank Welker) and his nefarious Decepticons rages on coming to a boldly exciting climax you absolutely have to see to believe! It's a brand-new season of the Emmy Award-winning series Crave Online calls the show "die-hard fans have always wanted. |

A review for the just released IGear PPO5 Weapons Specialists has been posted over on ACToys. This review shows a new cross sell sheet for Igear's Miniwarriors line. Shown in the Cross sell sheet are Igear's Rager, Spray, Hench, UFO and the upcoming Cogz. New figures shown are Dunerunner (Not-Beachcomber), Bushwacker (Not-Outback) and a repaint of Cogz in a Swerve deco! While we can't see the name for the Swerve figure, one can only hope it's "Shut-the-hell-up".
No release date is given as of yet, but check out a photo of the sheet by clicking the title bar |

Here's a quick follow on from the news earlier about the terms for the Transformers Collector's Club Subscription Service - it's live!
Head on over to the Transformers Collector's Club Homepage to read the terms and get in on the ground floor of the subscription service. Remember to read the terms - you need to be a member, and you can either pay by installments or pay the whole thing in one lump sum. An update from earlier is that the figures will not ship in pairs - that's an artifact left over from the similarly-worded GI Joe terms and conditions - these will ship individually, so you get six toys at various points through the year (seven if you want to count Depth Charge, the membership freebie) Remember, there is no need to rush to get your order in as these are made to order. If you get your order in by the cut-off date, midnight on 10 September 2012, you will receive the set of six toys. Lastly the slides from Botcon showing off the six toys have been posted on Facebook, if you want a clear look at what you are getting with the subscription. Check out the six - Prime Slipstream, Classics Circuit, Beast Wars Ultra Mammoth, Animated Jackpot, Universe Classics Breakdown and Generations Robots in Disguise Scourge. Remember if you only want one of these six figures, singles may be available through the Transformers Collectors Club, but at a higher price than they work out at through the subscription. |

By way of user 9981 on HK-TF, we have a pair of rather interesting pictures to share with you right now.
The first, being released under the Generations banner, is a Transformers Prime two pack consisting of the upcoming Gaia Unicron and Arms Micron Optimus Prime. The two as previously teased can combine, this giftset release gives you both parts of the combiner in a single box. It's also a great new look at the Gaia Unicron figure, our clearest so far. Given the Generations banner, it is entirely likely this will be another Asian market exclusive. Second is a new image of the Chinese New Year special, the Year of the Snake Omega Supreme. The new image is not giving a lot away - Energon Omega Supreme is shown in the image, unaltered from his release in 2004, although it is possible given that this is the stock photo from the Energon release that this is just a placeholder. |

It's a two for one bonus in our latest gallery update! Not only are we bringing you a look at the Generations Powerdive Voyager Class toy, recently released in Asia and due for a release as a Toys R Us Exclusive in the US shortly, but we also have a gallery for you of the original version of the mold, Highbrow!
This twin prop plane mold is a real "love it or hate it" design. The arms are admittedly the weak spot in robot mode, yet they also have a certain style that seems especially appropriate for Powerdive - the fists can tuck away and allow the arms to convert into full on rotor arms like the 2007 Movie Incinerator. The legs, thanks to the tail fins acting as poseable toes, can strike and hold some great and dynamic poses. The heads on both releases are modeled for actual plane pilots - Highbrow has a very "Biggles" inspired head (just add scarf) while Powerdive gets more of an oxygen mask look. The plane modes are a great design, a twin prop plane design very rarely seen among transforming robot toys. Powerdive is an oddity though for being released in the Generations series, a line strongly thought of as Classics, when his design, mostly real world deco and headsculpt all make him look right at home on a movieverse shelf. Regardless of where you stand him in your collection, he is a good fun toy, as was Highbrow before him. Open the links below to check out both galleries! There is a saying where I am from "you wait ages for a bus to arrive, then three turn up at once". Evidently this is also true for Transformers toys because we've been waiting a while for the new assortment of Bot Shot Launchers and now two have both been sighted! Bot Shots Launcher Wave 2 featuring Ironhide and Wave 3 featuring Starscream have both been sighted at US retail in the Warminster, PA Walmart.
Happy hunting everyone! |
