The new episode "New Recruit" may have just finished airing on The Hub (And you can find the TFW2005 discussion thread for that episode right over here), but that's no reason to not watch the new promo for next week's episode. What IS a reason not to watch this promo? If you're trying to avoid spoilers.
After being granted a new start in his life, the ever stone-faced Silas begins to see the world in a new light and makes an out-of-character decision to go to Megatron in the hopes that he will be allowed to join the ranks of Decepticon. |

Next up in our series of Transformers Prime new toy gallery updates we've got the latest addition to the Prime Voyager size class - Dreadwing! Dreadwing is the new Decepticon who joins the cast early in season 2 to avenge his brother Skyquake, and in toy form he proves to be an excellent and show-accurate representation of the character, albeit with a couple of small elements which might give some of you reservations about picking on up for your Prime Decepticon squad.
Those reservations are, mainly, that the entire head is made of soft rubber. Not just the crests, as has been the case in the past, but the whole thing. The MechTech gun is another sore point, lacking a post long enough to be carried slung under the arm as on the show, because the hands are molded part open. It's a small point given you need a rubber band to make the gun stay unfolded, but it's still a detractor. On to the good though, you have an excellent vehicle mode and a surprisingly in-depth transformation, providing for an accurate look in robot and jet modes. Robot mode is very sleek and free of extraneous vehicle mode parts, jet mode regrettably does have a bit of an undercarriage and the hands sticking out the back. Overall, a toy worth picking up, even with the minor flaws he is one of the best representations of a character in the Transformers Prime line. Open the link below to check out the full gallery with over 100 pictures! Transformers Prime Dreadwing Gallery Also check out the rest of our Transformers Prime Toy Galleries! |

A poster at ACTOYS.net has revealed the next accessory set from third party group Fans Want It. We have hardly any details at this point, but the silhouette suggests a fairly massive backpack for Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Optimus Prime, resembling the wings and thrusters formed from movie Jetfire.
Please note this is an unofficial product not officially licensed or endorsed by Hasbro or Takara-Tomy. |

K-Mart has posted the official images of the two new additions to the Rescue Bots team. Medix the Doc-Bot and Hoist the Tow-Bot are seen here for the first time outside of the art on their instructions. Medix is a Ratchet themed ambulance right down to the stripe on the side of the vehicle, while Hoist is a blue tow truck, whose overall style and bearing reminds this fan of the tow truck from Robots in Disguise, Tow Line.
Check out the new images by opening the links above - in case they are not working for you we also have the images attached to this story for your convenience. |

As the Transformers Collectors Club Subscription Service subscriptions deadline looms the TFCC has released an image showing three of the six toys - Breakdown, Slipstream and Circuit - posed together, showing off the three in robot mode with all three looking particularly cool. The picture also shows up the eclectic nature of the selection of characters - from retro G1 classic style through the saturated brightness of 90s Transformers up to the modern style. Check it out! And remember, less than eight hours left to get your subscriptions in to get these three, Ultra Mammoth, Animated Jackpot and Classics RiD Scourge! Head over to the TFCC Homepage to find out more and sign up!

A new Transformers Prime upgrade kit has been revealed via the Planet Iacon Facebook group. Courtesy of Dr. Wu, we have images of the new Dr. Wu TP-07 Courageous kit. This kit will give First Edition Arcee show accurate hand blasters. Dr. Wu gives a 110% on this kit, as the blasters are able to store in robot mode when not in use, either on her back or on her legs. They're also able to store in vehicle mode as well, giving Arcee some boosters in cycle mode or front mounted cannons for scraping Vehicons.
We've mirrored the images here on TFW for non-Facebook users so check them out after the break! |

Our sponsors TFSource have sent us news of a Holiday season 2012 exclusive from FansProject. At TFcon 2012 we got a look at a Deluxe Insecticon themed set of recolors for their Insecticons - we can now confirm that this will be an exclusive limited edition set similar to the previous extremely popular Shadow Scyther set, and like the Shadow Scyther these too will be carried by TFSource. The Deluxe Insecticon recolors will be collectively known as the "Armored Battalion" and will be sold as a set of three with exclusive giftset packaging for $159.99. This is going to be a single-run only item - but good news, there is a limit of 2 per customer at TFSource meaning that this set can find its way to the maximum number of fans.
Click here to check out the listing complete with some official pictures from FansProject - FP-DX Armored Battalion - Set of 3 - Limited Edition Holiday Exclusive |

A few quick little updates for the e-HOBBY + TFCC Collaboration Shattered Glass Soundwave VS Blaster set (Which goes for preorder through the Transformers Collectors Club store later today) for you this morning. First up, e-HOBBY has updated their product page with a new packaging sample image. On an interesting note, the "Solar Bot" toy (Who will allegedly be a translucent yellow redeco of the Eject/Rewind mold) has been photoshopped out/left out of the packaging sample. Is a reveal of this toy still to come?
On a related note, the Transformers Collectors Club has clarified a few things via their Twitter account regarding the release of this set: The EHobby is not build to order BUT we can order as many as we want. Confused? To clarify, our order has to be in BEFORE the Pre-order period is up on our end. So we could technically run out as we are not going to go heavy on these. We will do a guesstimate based on the first couple weeks of sales. We won't go overboard and cut it way short as we know many will wait till that last week. But we dont want to be way heavy either. So when you are able to, please get your order in. |

Courtesy of the Planet Iacon Facebook page, we now have a confirmation of future Takara-Tomy Transformers releases for the Arms Micron, Encore, and Transformers Generations lines in Japan. These confirmations are listings only and there are no pictures at this time.
First, for the upcoming "Transformers Generations" line we have an announcement that the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons will be released in Japan seperately in game-accurate colors. Whether or not these toys will have a special metallic paint job as rumored for the Optimus Prime and Jazz releases has yet to be seen. Second, for the Arms Micron line we have listings for both Frenzy AND Rumble, as well as a release for "Stunticon Wildrider". It is unknown at this time which mold the Wildrider release will be made from, but odds are the Frenzy and Rumble toys are two releases of the recently released Deluxe Rumble mold. Which one is red, and which one is blue? Only time will tell. And finally, something from a bit out of left field: A new Encore release has been listed- A yellow remold of the Encore Devastator release, allegedly with a new headsculpt. |
