Via Facebook and Twitter, High Moon Studios have announced that (by demand of the Dinobots) this weekend will be a double XP weekend! This is a good time to get in some extra levels for those multiplayer classes and level up your Prime mode characters - and why not do it with friends from TFW? Check out the TFW Fall of Cybertron Community Matchmaking thread to see who else is playing this weekend!

YouTube user SmythysToys has uploaded a better quality version of the Transformers: Prime Weaponizers TV Commercial we saw few days ago. It’s nice to see good CGI used for the commercial featuring Optimus Prime and Bumblebee taking down a horde of Decepticon Vehicons.
Hasbro's Official Product Demo can be found after the jump. |

Next up we have two more galleries to share with you by way of the Hong Kong Transformers fan group called HKGTF. Ultra Magnus and Thundertron are just recently released in Asia and HKGTF have shared some nice images of both toys to whet your appetites for them and their upcoming US release. Star Seeker Thundertron looks rather cool with cutlass sword and optional peg leg, while Ultra Magnus has his hammer that can transform into a suitably large rifle that says "yes, I CAN deal with that right now!"

And as if our Transformers Prime Cyberverse galleries were not enough Cyberverse fun for you for one day, how about a new Prime Cyberverse toy sighting? The Bumblebee Battle Suit, the sole new release in the second wave of Prime Cyberverse vehicles, has popped up at US retail. 2005 Boards members alpha_prime and Galvatro spotted this power armored Bumblebee at the Bashford Manor Walmart in Louisville, KY. Happy hunting everyone!

It's time for some more TFW Gallery love and we've got a bit of a retrospective for you this weekend. The Transformers Prime line has given us a large chunk of the main cast in the Cyberverse scale (including - gasp - the only way to get a Breakdown in the US!). As with Dark of the Moon, the Prime Cyberverse toys are good pocket money toys for an impulse buy. Some of the figures like Cliffjumper have even sported an incredible range of motion on such a small toy.
To kick off our Cyberverse gallery series, Sol Fury and SydneyY bring you a look at six of the Legion class toys - the smallest of the Cyberverse size classes. Check out their galleries by opening the links below! We've got some more Transformers Prime Cyberverse series love for you now, with a look at the Starhammer with Wheeljack vehicle set. The Starhammer (or Jackhammer as it is known in the show) is a charming little vehicle which is a decent recreation of the version shown in the series. The included Legion Class Wheeljack is one of the best examples of what the size class is capable of, being a great show accurate and poseable little figure complete with his nifty swords which can store on his back when not in use.
Open the link below to check out the gallery: Transformers Prime Cyberverse Wheeljack with Starhammer Vehicle Set We have also added some new images to the other toy in the first assortment of the Cyberverse vehicles, the Knock Out with Energon Driller. Enjoy! |

It's been quite a while, but the TFW2005 Creative Spotlights are back! Now on a regular semi-scheduled basis, every two weeks here on TFW2005 we will be looking at something we think is special from TFW2005's Creative subforums (Namely the Radicons Customs and the Fan Art groups) and do a special little article on it, where we interview the individual a little bit about themselves and what they do/have done on the boards. Sort of as a thank you to the creative subforums- which is one of the biggest communities here on TFW2005.
First up, we have something that was originally planned to run in TFWe: A Radicons spotlight on Chansformers' Kreon Omega Supreme! A few months ago, we went out and interviewed Chansformers regarding this custom piece, as well as his history of making customs and his creative process. Check out the interview, as well as a gallery of his custom after the jump. |

Many millions of years ago, on the planet Cybertron, life existed.
But not life as we know it today. Intelligent robots that could think and feel inhabited the cities. They were called Autobots and Decepticons. But the brutal Decepticons were driven by a single goal - total domination. They set out to destroy the peace-loving Autobots - and a war between good and evil raged across Cybertron; devastating all in its path, draining the planet's once rich sources of energy. The Autobots, on the verge of extinction, battled valiantly to survive... With these words on this day in 1984, the first-ever episode of Transformers Generation 1 was broadcast. While Transformers itself had already launched with the first issue of the comic book from Marvel comics on May 8 1984, for many of us it was the cartoon that truly cemented the Transformers into our imagination. In this first episode we were introduced to the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons and their war that had led them to leave their homeworld of Cybertron and crashland on Earth. It was the beginning of a legend that would span 98 episodes and a theatrical released movie, not to mention countless series that spun off from the mythology on both sides of the Pacific. This original three-part story arc even now stands the test of time and stands strong and proud as the beginning of all Transformers cartoons. If you were a fan from the beginning who remembers watching More than Meets the Eye Part 1 on the original broadcast or one of the members of our fandom who perhaps joined later, I hope that today you will join me in raising a glass and celebrating the 28th birthday of the first airing of the cartoon that started it all. Happy 28th birthday, More than Meets the Eye! Happy 28th birthday, Transformers cartoons! Pictured at left, Wheeljack, the first Transformer to appear on screen in More than Meets the Eye Part 1. |
