Great news for fans that have ordered Toyworld's Orion figure, Robot Kingdom's Facebook page has boxed images of the newly released Orion. TFC Toys have posted new images on their Weibo showing off their next project, a third Gear of War set. This third set is intended to accompany Generations Titan Class Metroplex and gives him a Sixgun figure! Like the Generation 1 original which this is based on, TFC's Gear of War 3 breaks down to form a selection of guns, with the core of the figure forming a large rifle like the one packed in with Metroplex. The arms and the legs can also form more Generation 1 inspired rifles and shoulder cannons if that is your desire. Check out the images mirrored after the break.

Reports are coming out of Hong Kong that there was an altercation involving Michael Bay and crew with locals during shooting of Transformers 4. Due to translation and conflciting reports it's not 100% clear what happened. Loose translations imply three folks attacked and injured Michael Bay and crew, or, there was an argument and they attacked police officers. The locals were arrested and Michael bay refused to go to the hospital. Early info assumes it was over a rent dispute for the area they were filming in. We will update when we have more solid information.

Thanks to GraphicPolicy.com we have an in-depth interview with IDW's Senior Editor: John Barber.
The interview touches upon the cross promotion between comics and the Generations Transformers toys we've already seen hit the shelves in recent months and how this cross promotion will continue with the launch of "Dark Cybertron." The interview also touches upon the overall sense of community and connecting different forms of media within the Transformers Fandom. You can read the full interview here. |

Director Michael Bay dropped by his site to let everyone know of the incident which took place while filming Transformers: Age Of Extinction in Hong Kong.
"Hi, it's Michael. Yes, the story is being passed around is not all true! Yes, some drugged up guys were being belligerent asses to my crew for hours in the morning of our first shoot day in Hong Kong. On guy rolled metal carts into some of my actors trying to shake us down for thousands of dollars to not play his loud music or hit us with bricks. Every vendor where we shot got paid a fair price for our inconvenience, but he wanted four times that amount. I personally told this man and his friends to forget it we were not going to let him extort us. He didn't like that answer. So an hour later he came by my crew as we were shooting, carrying a long air conditioner unit. He walked right up to me and tried to smack my face, but I ducked threw the air unit on the floor and pushed him away. That's when the security jumped on him. But it took seven big guys to subdue him. It was like a Zombie in Brad Pitt's movie World War Z—he lifted seven guys up and tried to bite them. He actually bit into one of the guards Nike shoe, insane. Thank god it was an Air Max, the bubble popped, but the toe was saved. Then it took fifteen Hong Kong cops in riot gear to deal with these punks. In all, four guys were arrested for assaulting the officers. After that, we had a great day shooting here in Hong Kong. The place could be better." |

Comics List has posted the solicits from IDW Publishing for January 2014. The new year brings no respite for the Autobots and Decepticons fighting against Shockwave in the Dark Cybertron event, which continues in More than Meets the Eye Issue 25 and Robots in Disguise Issue 25 - massive spoilers for these ones, read on at your peril! Regeneration One enters the final stretch in January with the publication of issue 98, and a collected edition of the series third arc. Also in January is IDW's latest event, X-Files: Conspiracy, which sees Mulder and Scully investigating, amongst other things, the Ninja Turtles, The Crow, the Ghostbusters and The Transformers! It's following the standard patten IDW has used for events like Infestation and Mars Attacks IDW with a pair of bookend stories, and crossover issues for each series. The Transformers crossover issue appears to be coming in February, but the bookend issue (and the Ghostbusters tie-in) are coming in January.
Read on for the full text of the solicits - and beware of the spoilers! |

By way of TFClub's Weibo, we have what is (sort of) our first look at the new style Bumblebee in Transformers Age of Extinction! What you can see here are images from a two-sided poster inside Hasbro's 2014 catalog, which was exhibited at the Shanghai Toy Expo last week. The poster shows licensed costumes of both Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - and while branded as Transformers Prime, the Optimus Prime costume resembles the confirmed design of Age of Extinction Optimus Prime. The Bumblebee costume similarly resembles the familiar Movie series Bumblebee, particularly with the "mouth" area, though the forehead area is newly designed and the battlemask is also altered, looking more insectoid than previous.
Also of interest is that the Optimus Prime costume includes a sword and a shield like the Age of Extinction toy, suggesting these are not just random accessories for a toy but might play into the movie's story. Of course, as dress-up sets, liberties have doubtless been taken with both designs. But check out these images for our first real teaser of the new looks of both leading robots. |

Thanks yet again to Takara Designer Shogo Hasui, we have another new image of Masterpiece Bluestreak. We've already seen a lot of images teased of this next Masterpiece release, but this latest tweet from Shogo Hasui only reminds us that Bluestreak is mere weeks away from being released, which likely indicates this is an image of the finished product fans will be receiving!

Thanks to our members, we have with us some cool photos from the Hong Kong set of Transformers 4 a.k.a Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
What's so amazing is that there is huge number of SuperCars involved and a blue Kawasaki. New cars being: a couple of Audi S6, a Cadillac CTS, a white Lamborghini Gallardo, a black Ferrari and what looks as though a Bentley. Also, stunt-doubles and cast members were spotted along with some local actors. Famous actors include Jack Reynor, Sophia Miles and Titus Welliver. Speaking of famous actors, the main cast of robots were not spotted yet (while shooting) other than the Bugatti Veyron. Filming will go on for two weeks and it has been smooth sailing since the unfortunate incident which occurred couple of days ago. Check out the latest images with this news post. Many thanks for the photos and info everyone. Keep 'em coming. |

Takara-Tomy are currently holding an exhibition for their 2014 products in Japan, and their booth has an image promoting Transformers Go! at its entrance. Japanese site 4gamer has posted this image though it's not a focus of their coverage since they are focused on video games. The image (enhanced by Snakas) shows off the core cast of Transformers Go! with Gekisomaru and Kenzan and their human allies in front of a version of Optimus Prime - while not entirely clear from this image, it is believed that this might be a look at the upcoming Transformers Go! G26 Optimus EX Prime.

Transformers artist extraordinaire Alex Milne has posted the design sketch art for Thunder Clash on his Deviant Art page. Thunder Clash features in More than Meets the Eye #22 - on sale now - and is a new take on a classic character from the 1992 line of Transformers, only released in international markets such as Europe and Canada. Alex notes that with this new take on Thunder Clash the trailer - originally a stand-alone battlestation - is incorporated into the robot mode, and that Thunder Clash himself is a big bot, around the same size as Ultra Magnus.
Head on over to Alex Milne's Deviant Art page to check out this and other artwork that he has shared. |

Thank to Twitter user trafes20120505 we have an image of this upcoming figure! Instead of the MechTech cutlass that Thundertron had, or the Arms Micron L.P. sword that Leo Prime had, Black Lio Convoy instead comes with 2 red swords which look similar to Kenzan's.
