"How many are there?" would be the proper question to ask now. Our members are bringing in more Photos and Videos from Hong Kong Principle Photography of Transformers: Age Of Extinction and yes… An Aston Martin DBS and a McLaren MP4-12C is rolling with the Pagani Huayra, Argosy Freightliner and unmistakably, the Garbage Truck Bot from DOTM.
It's time to unleash your theories on the matter. There are so many threads you can visit right here at TFW2005 with tons of images from our members. MineSky is again bringing in some cool original images. More images and videos collected by our members are here and here respectively. Thanks should go out to the Instagramers as well. Enjoy… and Speculate! |

Some tiny updates from Hong Kong Principle Photography of Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
First one is from Director Michael Bay who says the rumors going around are not true and they are having a great time filming the movie "I'm here to set the record straight again . . . my crew and I have been having a great time in Hong Kong despite what you may have read about us being "rocked by a second extortion attempt." Totally untrue. A few bad dudes have definitely not ruined the experience. We shoot from sun up to sun down, and the local HK crew have become part of our on-set family. We're in the middle of busy streets, in businesses, and even in people's homes, and everyone we've met has been very accommodating and generous. It's been a once in a lifetime experience we'd all consider doing again. Michael Bay" Second update is about the Lamborghini Gallardo spotted recently. Local Reports that the vehicle is Privately Owned by Julian Cheung Chi-lam, a famous and quite wealthy Hong Kong singer and actor who gave the car for the movie. This explains why we didn't see it during the Detroit and Chicago filming. Also, our members have noticed that although the Stickers and the overall look is the same, the Garbage Truck rolling with the Super Cars is a different make and model (2011 Isuzu Giga CXZ) than what was featured on DOTM. Also, going even further, the Garbage Truck used for the AOE filming back in US is another different one with same Sticker placements as the DOTM Con. We do not know whether this is a continuity error or not. |

Takara-Tomy have updated their Transformers website with details of the five Arms Microns being released as a part of the "Gojou" Campaign. The five Arms Microns are recolors of those included with the Japanese Transformers Prime toys Nemesis Prime, Frenzy & Rumble, Wild Ride, Silas Breakdown and Dreadwing; named Ex, Sen, Geki, Shou and Go respectively.
These will be available with a purchase of 3,000 yen or more of Transformers Go! products at participating stores. Ex will be available at Toys R Us Japan; Sen at Aion; Geki at Joshin Kids Land and Bic Camera; and Shou at Edion, Yamada Denki and Yodobashi Camera. The last one of the set of five, Go, the recolor of Dreadwing's Arms Micron, is said to be a wider national release, but is obtained in the same way by spending the requisite amount on Transformers Go! toys. Check out the page, and the new images that accompany it, including the huge Godenjin sword that the five Arms Microns merge into. |

Here is a particularly exciting clip from the Hong Kong filming of Transformers 4 Age of Extinction, courtesy of lászlo vén on Youtube. In this clip you can see extras running through the streets (with the Freightliner and Pagani visible in the show), while in the background an awesome roar can be heard! The sound is mixed with the mechanical tone which has become synonymous with how Transformers sound in the live action movies - so could this be the roar of Grimlock or one of the other Dinobots? Check out the video clip embedded below and hear the mighty beast roar for yourself!

While many of you may have written off Jagex's Transformers Universe game after an extended period of no news from the project, Jagex has updated their website for the game with some new CGI and wallpapers, showing that this project is not down for the count yet. The new wallpapers show off some of the character designs - both newcomers and also familiar faces, including Optimus Prime himself in one image, and in another, someone who just might be Jazz! The site's news page - called Comms - has also been updated, and is showing daily updates since 23 October 2013, with the latest update posted today indicating that a fresh round of closed beta testing has begun.
It's been a long time coming - make sure to watch the Comms page on transformersuniverse.com or the TFW news frontpage for further updates! |

The unofficial Grand Slam and Raindance cassette homages look sharp in black, with red paint applications on the combined form eyes and chromed weapons, feet and chest. Finally, it seems as though we have our first look at the Renders of Transformers: Age Of Extinction robots. Now, we know that there is quite a lot of Far Art circulating. But, if you look closely you can see that the Renders of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are near identical to the Kids Costumes we saw not too long ago. Also, we get our first look at Dinobot Grimlock.
We are yet to confirm the origin of these images. They were first published by ACToys; who were pretty reliable in the past. Check out the images after the jump. |

This fully licensed piece by Action Toys is a huge, non-transforming Generation 1 Optimus Prime, with Matrix, moving faceplate, and removable armor to show the inner workings of Optimus Prime's body. But that's not all - some very sharp, hi-res new images of the figure have also been posted on Artstorm's website. These sharp new images show off Ultimetal Optimus Prime in all his glory - be sure to check them out! |

It seems Sixgun figures to accompany Generations Metroplex are the new Predaking for third parties - because ACToys poster alienzhi has shared some images of another third party Sixgun, the third one to be announced so far after TFC Toys and Before and After both announced their own takes on the character. This newly unveiled Sixgun dwarfs the other two, standing almost waist-high against Metroplex; he's also the most accurate to the style of the original Generation 1 Sixgun unveiled thus far. Check out the images which we've attached to this story for convenience - and jump into the discussion thread to check out a handy comparison of all three not-Sixguns.

2005 Boards Member MineSky is bringing us more images from Transformers: Age Of Extinction filming in Hong Kong.
This time we get to have a look at the Autobots. With this news posts you’ll find some beautiful images of the vehicles in action. Speaking of action, MineSky did not forget to take pics of the Cast and Crew, including Director Michael Bay. Based on what GabrielPrime is sharing, they are filming the previously rumored scene. Also, our members are letting us know of another scene; which we are keeping away from the front page for those who are sensitive to Spoilers. You can read about it on the thread associated with this news post. |

For our latest new site gallery, we bring you a look at one of the two Gobits from TFcon 2013! Roswell is a blue and cream colored redeco of iGear's UFO Miniwarrior, inspired by the Gobot character Pathfinder (who also had an E-Hobby Minibot named for her, which is where this one gets her inspiration). Roswell is a bulky, chunky little robot, evoking the feel of a spacesuit, and the mold has a few cool touches including the dome over the robot head, the 50's sci-fi style ray-gun, and a display base, to display Roswell in flight in either mode.
She is overall a very cute, fun little robot and a nice character to add to the growing collection of TFcon exclusives. Open the link below to check out our gallery of Roswell! TFcon 2013 Exclusive Roswell Gallery |

Well, don't say we didn't warn you all. Onlookers from the Hong Kong set of Transformers: Age Of Extinction managed to record Optimus Prime (voiced by the legendary Peter Cullen)speaking to the Human Cast as well as to his fellow Autobots. The video is from the rumored scene (now no longer a rumor actually) where the crew had difficult time obtaining permission to film at the proposed location.
As we said before the dialog contains heavy SPOILERS and may very well spoil the ending of the movie for you. But, for those who wish to be spoiled before the movie, the video can be found after the jump. Remember to act responsibly after watching. |

By way of 2005 Boards member Niv3k we have an image of a new Transformers Age of Extinction Clapperboard, with an image of a new robot design on it. The design, broadly speaking, seems to resemble the updated look of Bumblebee, who here also appears to be equipped with a shield. Check out the image and see what you think.

The Daily Mail has posted some official images from the Hong Kong location filming of Transformers 4 Age of Extinction. The pictures show Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz standing alongside the Corvette Stingray (Crosshairs? Slingshot?) and Bumblebee. The fourth picture shows the trio alongside Stanley Tucci carrying a large black duffel bag. What's in the bag? You'll have to find out next Summer! It's also worth noting that all three of the guys have cuts and grazes - suggesting these scenes are falling during or after a major action sequence. The mysterious sword prop is also present.

For our next gallery update, we would like to draw your attention to our gallery of the TFcon exclusive Gobit, Van Guardian! Van Guardian is a redeco of the iGear Miniwarrior Hench, and like Roswell, is based on one of the original Gobots. Van Guardian is based on Van Guard, a minor character from the Gobots cartoon and one of the 1985 toyline releases. While the grey deco is faithful to the original Gobot, it's not the most striking deco ever, fortunately Van Guardian is a fun enough little toy to make up for this, with a good range of poseability, a mean shotgun, and a cool feature on the head which can flip round for an optional battlemask.
Check out the gallery by opening the link below for a look at this fun addition to the TFcon exclusives collection. TFcon 2013 Exclusive Van Guardian Gallery TFcon 2014 – The world's largest fan-run Transformers convention will take place July 11th to 13th in Toronto at the Delta Meadowvale Hotel and Conference Centre to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Transformers. |

Our sponsors TFSource have sent us a new image of the Kabaya Transformers Gum DX Overlord. This series, which follows on from Fortress Maximus released last year, comes in three kits - the three kits together form the mighty Decepticon Phase Sixer. Like the previous Gum DX series, each of the three sets comes with an additional figure, and this time out, the three figures are the three Autobot Brainmasters Blacker, Braver and Laster from Transformers Victory. They appear a little larger and more complicated than the Minibots who came with Fortress Maximus, and the three are capable of merging into Road Caesar.
Check out the new image attached to this news post. TFW2005 Fun Fact - this is not the first time that Overlord and the Brainmasters have shared the same assortment - in 1991, when the Brainmasters and Overlord were released to European markets, they were paired up as rivals. |
