Amazon.com has also updated with listings for the upcoming fourth assortment of Transformers Generations Deluxe class toys. This fourth series of comic pack in Deluxes adds Targetmaster Autobot Scoop, War for Cybertron Skywarp, Transformers Armada Starscream and the Mini-Con Assault Team into the mix. There's new pictures of each attached to the listings. Each one comes with an issue of the ongoing Transformers Dark Cybertron saga, with Starscream speculated to include a copy of Dark Cybertron #1.
In related news, Amazon has also added a preorder for Generations Deluxe Tankor, who has been rumored along with Rattrap, Nightbeat and Crosscut in previously leaked lists of upcoming releases - adding more evidence to the possibility we're going to see some or all of those four in plastic in the not-too-distant future! |

Couple of days ago, we brought you the news of Chinese Brand Product Placement on Transformers: Age Of Extinction. But that's not all Mr. Rob Moore; a Top Executive at Paramount Pictures had to say. The full interview video is now available online at M1905.
Rob Moore states that Paramount Pictures would love to produce Transformers 5 and 6, however they are waiting to see the success of Transformers: Age Of Extinction first. Mr. Moore also said that they changed the mind of Director Michael Bay (who previously said Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is his last Transformers movie) by giving him a new Challenge. Mr. Bay was given the opportunity to film at locations never before done for a Hollywood movie and with a brand new set of Cast members including Chinese actors. Regarding Chinese actors, Rob Moore says that they brought in superstar Han Geng. His popularity may boost the success of TF4 for the Asian region. Li Bingbing is another Asian actress who will play a vital role in the upcoming movie. Four newcomers were also included (who won the reality show) and they had the pleasure of working with veteran Hollywood actors such as Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci. Locations were selected by Chinese Officials who suggested places to shoot when the TF: AOE crew presented them what they need for specific scenes. You can watch the full Interview at M1905. |

If you've been keeping up with TFW2005 Transformers: Age of Extinction Movie News, then you may have seen her once before. Meet Ji Pei-hui; the key actress in the "Minister of National Defense Scene" for the movie. If you are sensitive to even tiniest of Spoilers…. then this is the moment we warn you.
According to M1905, Ji Pei-hui will have two roles on the upcoming Michael Bay Transformers movie. At one time she is a Tour Guide at the Great Wall Of China. Then later she will be seen at the Minister of National Defense. Whether she was working undercover at the Great Wall, we do not know. While at the Great Wall she was actually mistaken for a real Tour Guide and she says it was due to how realistic the production of Transformers 4 is. She also had an accident later, when she fell down while running. Director Michael Bay personally ran towards her to help her get up. She also said the Director is attentive to actors and even helps them when it comes to delivering the lines perfectly. M1905 says that the Casting Agency is really happy with how much the Camera loves Ji Pei-hui. And the actress in return is grateful for the opportunity she was given. More images and info can be found at M1905. |

Here is a cool little Rescue Bots bonus pack which is currently being sighted in Walmart stores. This is a special value pack version of the Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Rescue Trailer, with three additional figures - humans Cody Burns and Graham Burns, and a non-transforming Bumblebee car (originally included with the Bumblebee Rescue Garage, like the Speed Stars / RPMs it stands on end to represent robot mode, and can fit a human driver in a space in the rear / roof). The appeal of this set for young fans is that with the bonus figures and the bonus Bumblebee car, the $25 set has everything you need for an adventure right out the box. It's been found in a Wal-Mart in SW Pennsylvania, and is also available online via Walmart's website.

TakaraTomy is supposed to officially announce the winner to the Transformers Masterpiece Fan's Choice Poll on YouTube today. However Figure Oh ran their own poll, which givrs a very strong indication of what the final results might be! Via Tag Hobby is a scan from Figure Oh #190 in which the results of the Figure Oh poll are listed. Star Saber is the winner! However how the other characters fared may pique your interest. Micron Legend Monster Convoy, AKA Armada Optimus Prime actually came in 2nd! Here's the list in its entirety, thanks to tackertackle for the translation!

By way of this magazine scan from Figure King #190, we have our first look at the upcoming Transformers Cloud exclusives. The Optimus Prime as anticipated is very much his traditional colors, although this time with white upper legs rather than silver, and the black windvane has the Autobot logo stamped on it. He appears to have a chromed grill and bumper in truck mode, but it might be the quality of the image.
The Megatron on the other hand is all done in pale grey and at first glance almost looks like an unpainted resin prototype, were it not for the black on the treads and waist armor, and red on the side bumpers. A closeup of his headsculpt is shown, which seems to be the same sculpt as the GDO Megatron, although being done in white means that the angles of the face seem smoother in this photograph, giving the face a rather unsettling quality. The scan also has a brief new look at the Transformers Go! black version of Thundertron / Leo Prime, who is sporting a very Zoids Blade Liger look in beast mode with the swords pegged into his sides in beast mode. |

Our sponsors Tempting Toys and Collectibles have shared some images of a truly awesome pre-Transformers piece on their Facebook page. The piece in question is a Lucky Draw version of the Micro Change gunrobo which would ultimately become the 1988 Masterforce series Transformer, Browning. This version of the pistol robot is rendered entirely in gold chrome - if you were to own one, you'd be the fan with the golden gun! Check out the images and see what you think of this interesting item.

By way of this auction on ebay, we have a very rare look at some unreleased toys from the tail end of Transformers Generation 2 that were never released. These toys are redecos of the Combat Hero Optimus Prime and Megatron, with Optimus Prime in a primarily blue deco with red faceplate, and Megatron as a grey tank with green jungle camo. No robot mode images for either unfortunately, but this is one of the very few times you get to see these, so check out these images. If you fancy owning them it'll set you back at least $2,000 though...

Earlier today, Takara-Tomy officially announced the winners of their Masterpiece Fan's Choice poll. The votes are in and counted, and Star Saber from Transformers Victory won with over 30% of the vote.
As suggested earlier today by Figure King's own poll, Transformers Armada Optimus Prime won second place, with 24% of the vote, and Super Ginrai from Chojin Masterforce took third, with a little over 18% of the vote. Dai Atlas and Super Fire Convoy, from Transformer Zone and Transformers Car Robots respectively, took the fourth and fifth places. The other headline item is that Hisashi Yuki is leading on the Masterpiece Star Saber project, rather than the usual Masterpiece designer, Shogo Hasui - so the creation of Masterpiece Star Saber will not derail the other ongoing Masterpiece releases. Takara-Tomy have uploaded the whole video where they announce the winners to their Youtube channel - check it out embedded below. Some designs are shown during the run of the video - please be aware these are the designs of the original Star Saber and not the new Masterpiece version! |

For the fourth movie, ET aired their Part 1 of a Two Part special and a brief clip is now available online. The clip can be described as such: “Baysplosions! Baysplosions!! Baysplosions!!!” Oh, did we mention... the Reporter may have accidentally revealed the Robot Name of Pagani Huayra? (at 1:49 of the clip) |
