Arnold Schwarzenegger fansite; The Arnold Fans had the pleasure to talk briefly with actor Titus Welliver regarding his character for the upcoming Michael Bay movie; Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
TheArnoldFans: Were you familiar at all with the Transformers universe when you cam on the project? Titus Welliver: Very much so. I have three children and they were actually my encyclopedia for that. I watched all the films but any questions that I had, I just talked to my 14 year old, and my 12 and 8 year old. You can read the Spoiler-y bits from the interview, after the jump. |

Site sponsors Robot Kingdom and TFsource have both provided new colored images of Unique Toys' next 3rd party offering - Soundmixer. Soundmixer is a "Classics"-sized and updated interpretation of G1 Blaster. The figure transforms into a slavish representation of his Generation 1 ghetto blaster alternate mode. The figure cannot hold Generation 1 or KFC Toys sized cassettes in his chest compartment, but it does open to store his gun which folds up into a cassette of it's own. Soundmixer will come with armor for his arms, chest and head as well as a bullhorn for maximum volume.
Check out all of the great pictures, including size comparisons to other Unique Toys offerings like Mania King, the upcoming Salmoore, KFC Cassettes and all of the figures poseability after the jump. You can lock preorders for Soundmixer at the following TFW2005 sponsor websites: TFsource RobotKingdom BigBadToyStore |

More UK Transformers release news for you guys now - it seems along with the 2014 Cyberverse Legion toys, the new Cyberverse Commanders are also now appearing at UK retail. The assortment which includes Unicron Megatron, show-accurate Ultra Magnus and Bludgeon has begun to also appear in UK Home Bargains stores.
Will these make it to US stores, and if they do, will it also be through discount retailers like Ross? |

The latest story chapter from the Transformers Cloud fiction, posted on E-Hobby, has raised a few curious eyebrows with the artwork that accompanies it. The art seems to suggest, much like the previous art of the triple changer Rodimus from Springer, that a Shockwave may or may not be planned for the line - and that this Shockwave may be a redeco of fellow Empurata victim, Autobot Whirl.
It's not confirmed yet of course - much like the possible Rodimus, file this under "rumors" until Takara-Tomy Mall and E-Hobby are good enough to announce whether or not this Shockwave-from-Whirl redeco is happening or not. |

According to the promo website, all you have to do is to text "Valero" to 35350 and you could stand a chance to win a 2014 Camaro or a Transformers: Age of Extinction private screening in your hometown. Valero's promotion website features a Slot Machine type game which will reveal one piece each on everyday for 10 days to build a render of TF4 Bumblebee. The site also features a closer look at the recently revealed renders of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. |

Hasbro Transformers license holder Vilsco Textiles is providing a treasure trove in content from the upcoming Michael Bay movie; Transformers: Age Of Extinction. Thanks to the site, fans are treated with Concept Art featuring not only Optimus Prime and Bumblebee but also Hound, Drift, Lockdown and Grimlock.
The content also sheds light on some key factors such as Hasbro's upcoming plans for the franchise as well as how the Transformers 4 Toy Isles will look like. Regarding the concept art, it is clear that the characters had not undergone major changes considering their final looks we see these days. The concept artwork we see today was previously seen during the principal photography of TF4 as Clapperboard Images and Robot Poles. Also among the concept art is the elusive Silver Knight Optimus Prime. There seems to be a moment where Optimus activates or bonds with Grimlock (kind of like what happened in Eragon/How To Train Your Dragon) in the movie. And the Hound concept art is similar to the Transformers: Prime Bulkhead concept art we saw back in 2010. Speaking of years... the concept art dates back to 2012, indicating that they have started working on the 4th movie as soon as the 3rd was over. Moving onto Hasbro's plans. In 2017 we will see Transformers 5. The placeholder logo for the 5th Movie is included with the plans. Video Game news we've heard before and there will be 2 new Animated Features planned for the first quarter of 2015 and for the first quarter of 2016. The cartoons feature new faction logos and that's something worth investigating into. The cartoon will run for 2 years, bridging the gap between Age Of Extinction and Transformers 5 just like what Transformers: Prime did. Other than these contents, you’ll also find some upcoming merchandise such as Earphones, USB Chargers, Keyrings etc. as well. Checkout the cool images we've mirrored, after the jump. |

Dear Radicons: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!
As mentioned in the last update, the Creative subforum went absolutely insane in March to the point where we've had so many spotlighted added to the queue that we had to split the front page story in half. While we did spotlight an impressive number of fanart and tutorials in March, the Radicons spotlight features a whopping FORTY. FIVE. spotlights this month! When it comes to the creative spotlight, there is a specific set of rules that a custom has to follow in order to receive a spotlight. TFW2005 Staff have expanded and posted the new rules and guidelines for creative spotlights. These will be the rules for ALL creative spotlights going forward.
...Is... is that the end of the list? Is it done? Well... we'll be back in another month with another TFW2005 Creative Spotlight (Maybe we won't have to split it in two next time) and as always, stayed tuned to TFW2005 as we bring you the latest Transformers news as it happens. |

This is a complimentary piece to the Prime 1 ROTF Movie Megatron statue seen at last year's SDCC in detail. Thanks to the staff of Transformers Dioramas website, we have a great set of pictures of Hasbro booth over at Abrin Toy Fair from Brazil! The event took place in São Paulo on 1-4 April and it celebrated the 30th anniversary of Transformers with a huge booth filled with figures and merchandise.
Hasbro's main focus was, of course, the Age of Extincion since we're only a month away from the official toy release. They showcased the first waves of the toyline, alongside some Transformers Prime merchandise. Not the mention the giant cardboard cutouts of Optimus Prime and Grimlock! Check out some of the photos after the jump and visit Transformers Dioramas website and Facebook page for the rest. |
