Planet Iacon comes through again with another Transformers Generations 2014 book scan image, this time it's of MP-22 Ultra Magnus. The scan shows an image comparing the alt mode scales of Ultra Magnus with MP-10 Convoy. We can just barely get a glimpse of Ultra Magnus carrying some of the other Masterpiece cars in his trailer. What's more notable is there is an image of the cab fully detached from the trailer!

We finally get to see full color images of the highly-anticipated MP-21 Masterpiece Bumble and Spike in Excel Suit! Courtesy of Planet Iacon, these images from a page of the Transformers Generations 2014 book show both the alt and robot mode of Bumble, as well as a mid-transformation image, which gives us just a few more clues as how Bumble transforms. The vehicle images show just exactly what the alt mode looks like with the faction symbol placement, as his left leg/hood has a Cybertron symbol and the symbol on the roof completely hides from the robot mode. Also shown from this scan is an image with Bumble and Spike in alt mode for a scale-comparison image with MP-12 Lambor.
Speaking of Spike, some images showcasing him in his the Excel suit should not be overlooked. We can see him and his suit in color. Also we can see that his head is able to rotate upwards for the Excel suit transformation into vehicle mode to accommodate him. |

The latest Transformers Age of Extinction theatrical trailer is here (number 2 or number 3, depending on how you count), titled "Payoff". We've screen captured the entire thing from the 1080p source on iTunes for your viewing pleasure. We kept it limited to newer scenes for the most part, as there will probably be a higher resolution version online in the next couple days from the fine folks over at MichaelBay.com.
Feel free to check out over 95 shots from today's Transformers trailer, and if you grab your own, feel free to post in the forum thread attached to this story so the rest of the fandom can enjoy! |

Ever since the Transformers: Age Of Extinction Teaser Trailer, there had been so much anticipation for the Theatrical Trailer. Announcements were made, but never came. Hopes were lost, Dreams scattered into the night sky. Everything changed when the Fire Nation Attac… Oops, Sorry, Wrong franchise. Everything changed on Cybertron Monday. Little clips from the upcoming Trailer gave new life to the fans of Michael Bay Transformers Live Action Movie Series. Well, the wait is over. According to Alberta Film Ratings, this is the Trailer #3, Paramount calls it the Payoff Trailer and according to Michael Bay's Official Website, this is called the Theatrical Trailer. Whatever we call it… it's awesome. Enjoy the trailer below and we'll have high quality Screencaps for you to drool over... in a moment.
To quote Imagine Dragons from their Transformers 4 Theme Song; Battle Cry: Nobody can save you now, The king is down, It's do or die Nobody can save you now, Nowhere safe... It's the BATTLE CRY Update: iTunes has also uploaded it to their trailer page. |

Also posted on the TFC Weibo site are final color shots of their next Prometheus (Defensor) figure, Warning Line (Groove). You can see the additional images by clicking on the title of this story. As of this posting we don't have any sites that have this figure listed yet so we don't have a price or release date yet. Click the discussion link to keep up with this TFC combiner because I'm sure pre-orders will be around the corner.

Thanks to the Facebook page of Transformers Columbia, we have our first look at some new figure images of Transformers Hero Mashers. Hero Mashers are figures designed to have interchangable limbs where one could mix and match limbs from different figures to create your own character ... a "mashup" of sorts.
Included in the new images are figures of Rodimus, Jetfire, and Autobot Heatwave, which you may recognize as a homage to the Transformers Collector's Club exclusive figure Heatwave. Check out the images after the jump! |

Thanks to Maz and the Cybergeeks Alliance, we get a look at an upcoming MP-10 repaint. This time, A Bathing Ape will be recoloring MP-10 Convoy into a green and camo scheme, similar to their repaint of the G1 Convoy toy. Their previous recolors were pricy and sought after, so expect the same with this one. Check out the images after the break!

Site sponsors Big Bad Toy Store have broken the news that the Masterpiece MP-08X version of Masterpiece Grimlock - the limited edition Japanese version colored to look like he did in the original Marvel Transformers comics - will be getting a second run later this year. This version like the original run comes in a box styled to look like an original Marvel Transformers comic, and features a crown accessory like the one Grimlock wore during his brief stint as Autobot leader. This one is one of the more popular Masterpiece releases and also one of the harder ones to find - so be sure to snap it up if it is something you want for your collection.

New third party Ark Studios have unveiled their first product. It's a Legends class version of Masterpiece Smokescreen - designed to resemble the Masterpiece, but taking a lot of design cues from the Reveal the Shield Legends class Prowl, although it's slightly larger than that toy. Effectively it's a more articulated Legends class figure - check out the pictures after the break. There are also some photoshops from the group mooting the possibility of Bluestreak and Prowl versions of the mold, and hinting at some other releases - what do you think of the possibility?

The TCC has sent out an in hand image of Botcon 2014's Ginrai, an orange/red redeco of classics Optimus Prime. He's based on the "Fire Guts" version of Masterforce's God Ginrai released as an E-Hobby exclusive in the early 2000s. The TCC has also confirmed that the windvane-as-a-shield is accomplished by folding the robot's hand down, rather than any retooling of the parts. Check it out and discuss on the forums after the break!

For Transformers collectors in the UK, it looks like the Generations offerings from the 4th live action film will be exclusive releases limited to a few outlets.
TFW2005 boards members have found the first wave of Generations figures listed as exclusives on websites of Argos and Toys R Us. Argos website appears to have exclusivity for Leader Class Optimus Prime and Grimlock. Toys R Us currently has a listing under exclusives for the Voyager and Deluxe series. With this news be sure to utilize our UK Sightings Forum to help fellow collectors acquire the AOE figures that may be slightly harder to come by now. |

Everyone loves a good trophy - especially our good buddy Lockdown, and he'd probably be pleased to know that the video game he's being featured in - Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark - has just had its trophy and achievement lists revealed! Thanks to video game websites PlaystationTrophies and XboxAchievements, we have our first look at the trophy and achievement lists for the upcoming movie tie-in video game, detailing their names, levels/scores, images, and requirements for unlocking them.
Most notably, however, is that despite fan speculation that the game would include PvP (player versus player) multiplayer, it seems we may now be able to put those debates to rest - because there is no distinct reference to any sort of PvP component to be found anywhere in these lists (the "Reach Level..." and Prime Mode ones are most likely referencing the campaign and Escalation, as it's been confirmed that you'll level up in those modes). This is in contrast to the ROTF, WFC, DOTM, and FOC games - which all featured PvP multiplayer trophies/achievements. Sound off on what you think about the trophy/achievement lists (beware of the possible spoilers these lists may contain, though) and this revelation about the apparent lack of PvP multiplayer for this highly-anticipated video game after the jump! |
