Third party group Mecha Form have released some new image of their unofficial Skyfire / Jetfire, named Sky Guardian. Clocking in at over twice the size of Universe Deluxe Hound, Mecha Form's Skyfire is shaping up to be a decent take on the Generation 1 cartoon Skyfire for Classics style collections, and is looking sharp in jet mode. However, is this something you feel a burning need to add to your collection, with Hasbro bringing forward their own Leader Jetfire very soon in the Generations line? Share your thoughts at the discuss link below.

The Darlie Toothpaste brand is working a tie-in with Transformers Age of Extinction over in Singapore and other Asian markets. They will have Transformers themed toothpaste along with giveaways like mugs, keychains, and more. On top of that, you can get entered for a chance to win a Prime 1 Studios Transformers Movie Optimus Prime Statue, worth a couple grand! For buying toothpaste. Sounds pretty good to me. Check out their Facebook page here and some images after the break!

Kids Logic have teased their third release in their Mecha Nations line. The second new mold in the line will be the mighty Megatron, leader of the Decepticons and scourge of the galaxy. The tease shows a section of Megatron's torso, not much to go on (yet) but it portends well of the Decepticon leader being represented as his classic Generation 1 self. Check out the tease image on Facebook and share your thoughts on the discussion thread linked below.

The Facebook KFCfanpage (that's Keith's Fantasy Club, not Kentucky Fried Chicken) has posted up a color image of the upcoming KFC Tempest not-Cyclonus figure. Tempest is reported to be around a Voyager size and is inspired by the cartoon appearance of Generation 1 Cyclonus - but in a collecting world where Universe Cyclonus already cuts an impressive figure in many collections, do you feel the desire for a third party not-Cyclonus? Sound off at the discussion link below.

Apple's iTunes website has posted up the brief, 3-page preview for Transformers: Windblade #3:
Transformers: Windblade #3 THE FATE OF CYBERTRON! WINDBLADE learns more about the new face of CYBERTRON—and lesson number one is: never underestimate STARSCREAM! She’s trapped in a no-win situation—but what is the scheming DECEPTICON really after, and how far will he go to keep WINDBLADE out of his way? The full comic will be out on June 25, but for now check out the preview after the jump if you don't mind spoilers (and check back that week for the TFW review too)! |

Fans Toys has been making mass produced custom transformable pieces for a while now, starting way back in the mid-2000's with their Trailer for 20th Anniversary Op. More recently they've put out Quakewave, a purple space gun that looks familiar.
![]() Next up for them is Scoria, an Iron Dibot, which compliments Masterpiece Grimlock from Takara/Hasbro quite well. We've got final production Scoria in hand and have done up almost 100 high res shots of him in action with his brothers. We'll forgo a proper review and let the pics speak for themselves, but feel free to ask questions in the thread and we will try to answer. Check em out after the break and discuss! |

Transformers: Age Of Extinction Marketing Campaign is in full swing. Kelsey Grammer; who plays the role of Harold Attinger came to the Late Night Show with David Letterman last night and brought with him 2 TV Spots and our 1st clip from the movie.
Both TV Spots are narrated by Harold Attinger who gives a choice for Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) to tell them the location of Optimus Prime. It is clear that Attinger is the most ruthless Transformers Movie Villain so far. Check out the videos, after the jump. |

A new ebay auction has surfaced offering the rumored new Botcon 2014 Flamewar attendee-only exclusive. These new images show the figure off from various angles in both modes. Flamewar is a reuse of the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Arcee deluxe figure and is based off of the 2005 attendee exclusive of the same name.

For fans heading to this years Botcon convention in Pasadena, California you may miss the chance to pick up the latest issue of More Than Meets The Eye from your local comic shop. Fear not however, as ToyFederation.com is offering two connecting exclusive covers of issue number 30! These two connecting covers feature Soundwave versus... a My Little Pony named "Vinyl Scratch". Bear witness to the beat beatdown of these two musically inclined Hasbro owned characters.
Hopefully when the battle is over, Soundwave will just scrape the pony off of his foot and be done with it. You'll be able to pick these covers up at the Toy Fusion/Toy Worth booth. But be quick they're limited to only 600 copies! |

Via Kiya Hayashi on Facebook, we have a look at two new Transformers multipacks. We're not sure what series these sets will go in, since one set uses molds from Transformers Prime and the other a mix of Movie and Classics. They are the Protectobots sets. The main set seen here is the Protectobot Emergency Response set, which uses Transformers Prime Ratchet as First Aid and Beast Hunters Prowl as "Streetsmart" (nee Streetwise), with a Cyberverse Legion Prime Arcee as Groove.
The Evac Squad consists of Revenge of the Fallen Blaze Master as Blades and a Universe Inferno / Reveal the Shield Grappel variation as a red Hot Spot - so possibly taking a cue from Guard City there. The image is small but it is clear the Grappel crane arm is getting used, though whether the rest of the toy uses the Grappel tooling, the Inferno tooling or even the GDO Hot Spot alternate head is not clear. We've no further information on these toys as yet. Given they are giftsets, they are likely store exclusives. We may learn more at Botcon next week, or at the SDCC in July. As always, watch this space for more information. |

Hasbro has sent out a promotional press box filled with Transformers goodies to various media outlets yet again, marking the final push towards Transformers Age of Extinction. They have done this for each previous movie as well. Each time they are filled with all different types of Transformers themed product related to the film, mostly from early waves. Nothing unique, other than the kick ass box. We've got ours, and done up a quick photo shoot of the box and it's contents. Check it all out after the break!
UPDATE: We've uploaded a couple shots with the press boxes from the other 3 movies. |

It's Grimlock vs. Grimlock in this latest trailer for the Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark; a tie-in video game for Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
This trailer is special for one particular reason; This is the first time we are seeing Movie Grimlock Robot Mode with what may possibly be his actual colors. Gamestop has this to say: Pre-order now and get the GameStop-Exclusive Weathered Warrior Pack, featuring Thundercracker and Skywarp, plus the Glass Gas Cannon and the Electro Bolter. |

Next up in our galleries of upcoming Transformers Generations toys we have a look at the wisecracking Maximal rat - it's Generations Rattrap!
Rattrap was one of the original five Maximals introduced in the early episodes of Beast Wars. Masterfully voiced by Scott McNeil, Rattrap was a pessimistic Maximal known for sighing and saying "we're all gonna die" when faced with impossible odds - usually before making a major stand and playing a role in making sure everyone came back in one piece. Rattrap's original toy was one of the first Beast Wars releases, a flipchanger Basic, but here, Rattrap has got the full Deluxe class upgrade, and what an upgrade! Much like Rhinox and Waspinator, Rattrap has been given a wonderfully show accurate design for his new toy, right down to the way his backpack folds up onto his back. There are a lot of cool features in the transformation such as how the rear beast mode legs transform into the robot mode legs. Compared to his wavemate, Tankor, Rattrap is a real puzzle of a toy, requiring some careful alignment of parts to get everything clipped in properly in beast mode. Rattrap's gun is based on a weapon the Maximals used in the show, and it can break down into two smaller pistols as well, so there are plenty of display options with it there. He's also got a flip-up panel in his arm which has a little bomb pop out, again modeled on a feature of the character in the show, another nice touch, and the rat's tail is made of soft rubber around a wire, so it is quite bendy and poseable. One thing that scares me a bit with my Rattrap are the shoulders - because they are tight, trying to move them sometimes makes it feel like the parts they are attached to are being tugged instead, which might risk a breakage down the line if you're unlucky. Overall, Generations Rattrap is a fantastic loveletter to the Beast Wars series and I'd saw he is probably my favorite of the three Beast Wars homage toys released for Generations at this time, though it's a close run thing between him and Rhinox, no offense Waspinator. Check out our gallery and judge for yourself: Generations Rattrap Gallery |

• Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Shockwave ominously hovering over Cybertron • "Knightformers", starring Optimus Prime and his fair maiden Arcee (and possibly IDW Mach Kick too) • Swindle, immediately after unsuccessfully trying to cut a deal with Ultra Magnus • Windblade, springing to action in front of Metroplex's brain Check them out after the jump! |

A press release has been issued for the Transformers Fan Experience event being held at Universal Studios Hollywood next week! On 20 June the event provides fans - including Botcon 2014 attendees - a chance to experiece Transformers the Ride, rock out with Stan Bush, photo ops with Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee. There will also be a panel with the Hasbro Transformers brand team, which we are told will include a preview of some yet-to-be seen merchandise! How much this runs with the Botcon Hasbro product preview panel we do not know, but we suspect that the Fan Event may focus on the Age of Extinction line, while the Botcon product preview might be focusing on the Generations line and the collector-oriented segments of the line. With just over a week to go, we will not have to wait in suspense for long!

Here is something sweet you can use to add some character to your man-cave. 3D Light FX have unveiled their Transformers: Age of Extinction tie-in 3D Deco Lights. These wall-mounted lights come with funky 3D "crack" decals to make it look like the symbol of your choice is exploding through the wall. The lights themselves - available in Autobot or Decepticon versions - glow and pulse in either red or purple, red for Autobot and purple for Decepticon. They are pretty cool - and 3D Light FX do a bunch of other cool lights including Iron Man, TMNT and the classic "car crashing through wall" if you fancy something different from Transformers.
