TF08.net has updated with a pair of interesting new items. The first is a tan recolor of the 2007 Movie Line Blackout toy - could this be a Voyager class release of the Fast Action Battler Grindor we saw previously, or something new?
Also on show is a Transformers Universe Three pack. Titled "Warriors from Three Worlds" the set includes apparently unaltered versions of Ransack GTS, Scattorshot and Repugnus from the Transformers Cybertron line. |

Amazon.co.uk has posted up the cover artwork for volume 4 of the UK released Transformers Animated DVDs. This cover art depicts a group shot of Optimus Prime, Grimlock and Sentinel Prime. In a first for the UK DVDs, the artwork for Sentinel at least is a new piece of art (although the same cannot be said fopr Optimus and Grimlock).
This volume is titled Mission Accomplished, and will probably contain the first four episodes of Transformers Animated Season 2. It is due for release on June 15. |

A clearer image of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Ravage has also been posted on TF08.net. This new image shows a side-profile of the beast mode, which is very spikey, very skeletal, and yet also distinctively Ravage. Check out the image by clicking on the thumbnail to the left.

We have some more images of Botcon 2009 Razorclaw for you tonight, courtesy of oyloveq of HK-TF.com. These images show Razorclaw in robot mode in a greater amount of detail, giving a very clear look at the new, Generation 1 styled head on the big guy. Also, check out the image to the left of this post for a recreation of Razorclaw's pose from the final page of the Botcon 2006 Timelines "Dawn of Futures Past" comic!

Here is something for those who collect the other merchandising that surrounds the Transformers brand. 2005 Boards member madeguy20 found a Transformers Revenge of the Fallen plate set in a Walmart in Lynn, MA. The set features Bumblebee prominently, and makes a nice companion piece to the Optimus Prime themed set made in 2007.
Also spotted were two Transformers placemats. These were originally made for the 2007 movie, but they are out again if you missed them the first time around. |

Japanese retailer AmiAmi has updated with images of Takara Tomy's release of Revenge of the Fallen (known as Transformers Revenge in Japan) Megatron and Chromia. There do not appear to be any major differences between the two toys and their US release counterparts.

TFW2005 members S250 and GenZhao have both shown us new photos of Revenge of the Fallen Ravage. This monocular monster still resembles the Decepticon spy and saboteur of old, updated for the movie universe!
He has a mouth/ear movement feature and an aquatic mode, and yizhi at tf08.net has even posted photos of a mode that looks like a bird. Laserbeak fan mode, or did the designers intend this to be some kind of Soundwave Superminion? Discuss here! |

The official Hasbro Transformers homepage has been updated in preparation for the launch of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen! when you log onto the site, you will be greeted by a voiceover from "Optimus Prime" (the 20th Anniversary DVD edition one) filling in the background story so far. There's not much else to see right now, except some cool new wallpapers and a countdown to the launch of the Revenge of the Fallen toyline. Be sure to check back soon though, for character "battle bios" and other goodies.

The June issue of Terebi Magazine features a special focus on the Autobots (and Starscream) in the cast of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The returning four Autobots Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet and Ironhide are all highlighted alongside awesome newcomer Sideswipe, and Starscream is also featured. Of particular note is that this image shows the Takara version of Starscream with some paint differences more in keeping with the original promotional images of Starscream than the final version. There's also a very cool image depicting the classic versions of the characters giving comments on their Movie counterparts.

The covers for the various format versions of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen game have begun to go up on Gamestop and other retailer websites. The cover art for most versions depicts Optimus Prime in an action hero pose with the ominous gaze of The Fallen in the background. With the exception of the Nintendo DS versions - each version shows the portrait of either Optimus or Megatron, for the Autobot and Decepticon versions respectively.

We have received images from 2005 Boards members Waveride and diablien of a giant, building size Transformers Revenge of the Fallen poster currently going up on the side of the Luxor in Las Vegas. It's still a work in progress, but even halfways assembled, it is an impressive sight to behold. Check out all the images by clicking on the title of this story.
