Demonstrating that they do indeed listen to fan feedback, the TCC has posted a fresh image of their Figure Subscription Service 3.0 Tarantulas on their Facebook page. Compared to the one that we saw yesterday, this version of the Predacon mad scientist features darker colors overall, with his face and forearms reworked to better resemble how the character looked in Beast Wars.

Check out the new promo attached to this post, and check out the Transformers Collectors Club homepage to get in on the ground floor of this year's subscription service - we've been told that the numbers of figures being made this year are going to be very limited to the point that there might not be much in the way of spare stock, so act now to avoid potential disappointment later.

In the way of some extra fun, please see a comparison image of the three prospective decos of this figure - Botcon 2014 reveal, yesterday's mockup and today's revised deco - as compiled by TFW2005 member Jalaguy attached to this post.

Via Blacklai of TFND.net, we have a look at the Transformers Age of Extinction Autobots United Five Pack in hand. This pack collects the five main Autobots from Age of Extinction in a single, Platinum Series giftset. The five molds used as the new Camaro Bumblebee and Evasion Optimus Prime along with the Voyager Hound, Deluxe Drift and Deluxe Crosshairs. Generally the five in the set feature full-on "premium" paint jobs including lots of painted details like taillights that get missed on the regular retail releases. But top of the list of cool paint details in this set - Crosshairs has his stripes painted on both sides!

Check out a quick selection of images attached to this post or the full gallery linked above.

IDW publishing has revealed the retailer incentive cover for the next issue of More Than Meets the Eye via their Facebook page. This comic is scheduled for release this coming Wednesday the 17th and this exclusive cover features art from the super talented Sarah Stone. This retailer exclusive features the highly popular Decepticon Justice Division leader, Tarn, facing down the scavenger Fulcrum while leakin' lubricants on him. Is it mech-fluid? Battery fluid? Symbol ship blood??

Speculate away on the 2005 boards by clicking the title bar!

Felipe León Nájera has posted some scans of a Hasbro products line catalog in the Transformers Colombia Facebook group. It's important to note that these listings relate to Colombia only, so there may be other toys or lines which are not planned to be released in Colombia which are therefore not listed here.

With that in mind, let's dive in and take a look at what is shown. The first headline is that in Colombia, Robots in Disguise will air on Cartoon Network and will premiere on 15 March 2015 - implying that the as-yet unknown US premiere may take place sometime before this.

The first of the three sheets shows us the Robots in Disguise 2015 line, as revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2014. The four assortments are: Warrior (Deluxe analog assortment, details are misprinted with the one-step info); Legion (Legends class figures, assortment is said to contain 12 figures which convert in 20 steps or fewer, which seems an exaggeration considering such small toys generally do not have such involved transformations). The Hyperchange assortment is also listed and described as having three-step conversions and six figures in the assortment - so similar to the current Power Battlers line. Lastly the Robots in Disguise One-Step Changers are also listed, with 14 toys said to be in the assortment.

The second and third sheets cover side-line items. The Titan figures look set to continue, with 12 inch Hero figures being planned both with and without electronic features, and a series of 6 inch Titan Guardians also being planned. The picture accompanying this listing suggests there will be a 5 pack of 6 inch Titan Guardian Seekers - Skywarp, Starscream, Thundercracker, Sunstorm and Acid Storm. There's also some information on Hero Mashers, but nothing previously unseen there (yet)

Once again a big thanks to Felipe and Transformers Colombia for sharing this with the fan community.

PreviewsWorld has posted some inside info and previews of IDW Transformers Solicitations for the month of November, 2014.

The site, lets us in on:
  • Transformers #35 (The Days Of Deception)
  • Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye #35
  • Transformers: Robots In Disguise Volume 6 TP
  • Transformers: Primacy #4
  • Transformers: Drift - Empire of Stone #1
  • And a preview of Angry Birds: Transformers #1
"Lastly, let us turn your attention to Angry Birds/Transformers #1 by writer John Barber and artists Marcelo Ferreira and Livio Ramondelli.

This book is proof as to why you shouldn’t take life so seriously, because when you do you close yourself off to insane hijinx that you’ll find in this four-issue mini-series that smashes the Angry Birds and Transformers together to give you a new kind of tasty treat. If you willing to go insane in the membrane, then you’ll let it all hang out and follow along as the Transformers travel to Piggie Island to retrieve the powerful Allspark, which has turned the world of Angry Birds robotic! And with this overhaul of reality we get, of course, the Autobirds and Deceptihogs! How’s that for thinking out of the box? And would you want a crossover any other way?"

We've mirrored some images with this news post, but you can read the entire article at PreviewsWorld.

Several entertainment websites are now posting exclusive behind the scenes footage from Transformers: Age Of Extinction.

The reason behind this may probably be the fact that the movie out in Digital HD tomorrow (September 16th, 2014).

USA Today has posted a clip highlighting the Explosions of the movie and the clip at Parade highlights Stanley Tucci's character; Joshua Joyce. The third clip from Break highlights the destruction and how director Michael Bay directs his trademark Bayhem.

The clips are introduced by Mark Wahlberg; who plays the character Cade Yeager in the 4th Michael Bay Transformers Live Action Movie.

You can share any new clips you find, at the thread associated with this news post.

Previewsworld once again brings us some cool comic news. They've posted a listing dedicated to the November 2014 Transformers comic releases, complete with a few preview pages from three of the books out in November - Angry Birds Transformers #1, Transformers #35 (the book formerly known as Robots in Disguise) and lastly, a preview of Drift: Empire of Stone #1.

All three previews lack dialog - and color, in the case of Angry Birds - but are an exciting advance look at these upcoming issues. We're particularly excited that Sideswipe looks to be getting to exercise his "jet judo" - what do you like? Share your thoughts in the discussion thread linked below.

Transformers: Robots in Disguise
Thu. October 9| 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM | 1A21

Hasbro invites Fans to join Special Guests from Hasbro Studios and voice talent from the new animated series, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, airing in early 2015, as they share details behind the making of the new series and a sneak peek of what’s to come, including reveals of new characters and more.

Track: TV

We do not know whether the Sneak Peek is a new one or the same as what was shown during San Diego Comic-Con 2014.

Since the Hub TV Network is celebrating its 4th Anniversary in October, there is a good chance that we will hear a definitive airdate for the new Cartoon Series.

On this day in Transformers history – September 17, 1984 was the date of the premiere of the very first Transformers cartoon. More than Meets the Eye part 1 brought to TV screens the saga of the Transformers – journeying from planet Cybertron to Earth in search of precious energy sources to rejuvenate their world.

In the 30 years that have passed in between, we’ve had over 720 episodes of Transformers. Those 720 episodes have spanned no less than 17 different cartoon shows, each with its own unique premise, but all tracing themselves back to the great pedigree set down by the first ever episode of Transformers, which aired this day in 1984.

As a fan who was around in 1984, I can remember watching the original trilogy of More than Meets the Eye cartoon episodes on a VHS tape called “Arrival from Cybertron”. More than Meets the Eye / Arrival for Cybertron opened up for me this whole fantastical world of transforming alien robots – leaving their home which was critically low on energy and crashlanding on our own four million years ago, only to awaken in a volcanic tremor and resume their war on Earth.

The premiere trilogy wasted no time in cutting straight to the action, and quickly established the roster of personalities. It was a very good, strong start for the show that did an excellent job of world-building and setting out who was who - and of course, it was followed by an excellent first season that built off the strong foundation.

On this day, we celebrate the first Transformers cartoon, and the rich legacy that it led to – because there can be little doubt that without such a strong cartoon to back it up, the Transformers may not have gained the momentum it did to break through and become the phenomenon that it is today.

On an aside, you might be amused to know that the very first Transformer to appear on screen in this first episode is none other than Wheeljack, closely followed by Bumblebee. Perhaps by accident or design, any day now Wheeljack is going to celebrate his role as the first Transformer to appear on screen by getting his very own Masterpiece toy released – and as with the cartoon, a Masterpiece Bumblebee is following closely after.
