Via the Weibo accounts of third party groups DX9 and Toyzone, we have a fresh look at DX9's Invisible, a Masterpiece scaled take on Generation 1 Mirage. This toy, whose engineering seems to have more than a little in common with Classics Mirage, is looking pretty sharp - but will fans want to hold out in the hope of an official one from Takara-Tomy?
Also on show in one of these images is a fresh look at the prototypes for DX9's Legends scaled versions of Cyclonus, Scourge and Galvatron. Check out all the images after the break. |

Yet more third party news from the 6th SGC Fanscon. Evidently in addition to the stuff that has been on display (which we have been reporting on via various Weibo feeds) there was also a slideshow. The slideshow showed off some new releases purporting to be from Iron Factory, makers of the Legends scaled Blaster with Ramhorn and Steeljaw.
First up there is a look at a Legends scaled Fall of Cybertron Soundwave, with his constant companions Laserbeak and Ravage. The cassettes seem to turn into armor or small tanks in their own right. An image of these three on Metroplex also seems to imply the group is making a Perceptor. Check out the discussion thread for those here. Next up is a Legends class version of Windblade. This one is a great idea for a toy in scale with Hasbro's Titan class Metroplex given Windblade's role as Metroplex's city-speaker. The tiny figure appears to have many of the features of the official Hasbro deluxe class release including her sword and pivoting VTOL thrusters. Discusson thread for her is right here. Third there is also a miniature version of Perceptor, who seems to be a remold of Iron Factory's Blaster. Discussion thread for him is over here. A big thanks to Weibo user AlucardLee for sharing many of the pics we have in turn shared with you this day. |

More images via Weibo showing third party combiners, and this time, we have a look at the fully combined Warbotron Bruticus all in color. We can see "The Brute" as we're affectionately calling him fully combined, so we also get our first glimpse of the Warbotron Onslaught in color. It's also reported those cannons on the back can pivot forward.
Check out the images after the break. |

Prime 1 Studio have teased another Transformers themed statue on their Facebook page. While they've not said who this statue is of, fans of the Michael Bay directed live-action movies may recognize the bot in shot as none other than the Decepticon Shockwave, who brought terror to Chicago in Transformers Dark of the Moon.
We are informed this one will be a full sized statue. A possible prototype was shown off by a "Matrix Studios" at the 6th annual SGC Fanscon over the weekend - could it be a prototype of this or something else? Either way, there is a cool and undoubtedly expensive new statue coming our way sometime in 2015 of this Decepticon cyclops. |

Concept artist Mark Brassington has shared some of the artwork which he was commissioned to do for Jagex's Transformers Universe MOTA game.
The artwork includes a redesign of classic character Combaticon Onslaught, who has some Earth-mode cues taken from his Fall of Cybertron design. Other characters include an Autotrooper - you might remember them from the Kiss Players series, or their cameo in Transformers Animated which led to them getting a Botcon exclusive toy. The new Autotrooper seems to take a few cues from Fall of Cybertron Jazz - so perhaps scope for customizers there? The lineup is rounded out by a trio of newcomers, named Bombast, Clearcut and Meltdown. Check out the artwork at the link above and share your thoughts by hitting the discuss button. |

Transformers artist Emiliano Santalucia has just posted some Transformers: Age of Extinction concept art up on his blog The art shows various scenes of the Autobots and Dinobots riding into battle, and here's what Emiliano himself had to say about it:
"Just a couple of months ago I received approval on showing at least one piece of the work I did for Transformers Age of Extinction movie. This is one of the craziest piece I did for the fourth Transformers movie and it was a lot of fun to work on.I did it under the direction of the mighty Aaron Archer who gave me a ton of details to fit into one single image. I started with a couple of simple composition/mood studies, and then went into the full rendering. We went throw a lot lot of revisions, including adding Drift, the sparkles and later on we also decided to change the color of the sky. I loved adding all the dust and atmospheric elements, creating chaos during the battle. There is so much going on that something can get lost, like Bumblebee fighting a bunch of Decepticons behind Grimlock. There will be more? The title of the post suggests yes, as I did several other pieces, so, hopefully I'll get permissions to show some others in the following years." Check it out and discuss after the break! |

Amazon has posted new Transformers: Robots In Disguise and Combiner Wars products. We've seen majority of the images before, but some images are new as well as the bios for the toys.
Underbite's robot mode is listed as a dinosaur. Images of the Legion Class Sideswipe and Grimlock are new. Both of them and Optimus are wearing face masks with Sideswipe bearing an uncanny resemblance to Hatake Kakashi of Naruto. We are also seeing the first in-package images of Warrior Class (previously known as the Deluxe Class) Bumblebee and Grimlock. The Dinobot will feature a Chomping Jaw gimmick and based on the stock image, the gimmick may very well be similar to the Voyager AOE figure of the same name. Combiner Wars Optimus Prime Bio: "The Autobot commander has been upgraded with the power of the Combiners, giving him the ability to link with any bot to form Ultra Prime! The Combiner Wars are heating up and your 2-in-1 Optimus Prime figure is ready to lead the way one more time! This powerful leader of the Autobots is a terrible powerhouse in robot mode, launching his 2-fisted blaster attack against the Decepticons. But he's just as scary in rumbling semi truck mode! He's also got the power to combine with other bots (sold separately) to form a massive Ultra Prime figure. Convert, combine and attack with your awesome Optimus Prime figure!" Transformers: Robots In Disguise One-Step Underbite One-Step Strongarm One-Step Bumblebee One-Step Sideswipe Legion Optimus Prime Legion Sideswipe Legion Grimlock Warrior Class Bumblebee Warrior Class Grimlock Transformers: Combiner Wars Deluxe Skydive Voyager Optimus Prime Voyager Silverbolt We've mirrored the images with this news post. Check 'em out, after the jump. |

GCreation's Weibo account was updated earlier today with final product images of their homage to the Dinobot Sludge! We have provided for us a great set of images showing off all modes of SRK-01 as well as the articulation and accessories you'll be getting with this massive figure (which holds its own against Masterpiece Grimlock!). This independent take on Sludge is also part of a combiner team, the final combined form being Shura King - an image of its leg mode is also provided.
Third party companies know you love Dinobots, so sound off after the jump if this is the one for your collection! |

Following up from yesterday's Chromia news, Takara designer Hisashi Yuki has once again taken to his Twitter to post another pic of one of their upcoming fembots - this time, it's Transformers: Legends Windblade!
The Takara version of the fan built bot has been done up in more comic-accurate colors, more closely resembling Sarah Stone's depiction of her in the IDW comics. Check it out and let us know your thoughts after the break! |

New Angry Birds: Transformers update is rolling out on iOS and Android devices.
The new update helps the player to bypass difficult missions by using Skywarp to destroy the mission. Also, it is said that a new Anti-Cheat system has been introduced to stop players cheating by changing the device clock. On the bright-side, new Bonus Missions allow the players to rake in thousands of coins, so that cheating is no longer useful. The update also features new character animation as well as some funny new changes. (someone has decided to graffiti a smiley face instead of the Deceptipig logo on Astrotrain since both Autobirds and Deceptipigs are now using it).
