As far as Transformers go, the only one I own that survived my childhood was my G2 Bumblebee.

Other then that I have a few GI Joe's and a few Masters of the Universe figures. My mom threw out/gave away alot of stuff.

Totally agreed. I plan on picking one of him up eventually. Maybe when there's a lull in products I want to purchase. What can I say? Great minds think alike.

About half of my G1 collection is from when I was a kid.

Sadly, pretty much anything that wasn't Transformers has either been sold off via yard/garage sales or somehow lost. That includes Star Wars, GIJoe:ARAH, MOTU, MASK, Visionaires, Warlord, Megos and probably more. A lot of it had to do with my dad being active duty Air Force throughout my childhood. Basically, every time we moved, it was like a toy store doing a floor reset.

			Yes.

I own all my childhood toys except my MOTU figures. I had the whole collection, and sold them for a $1 a piece in a garage sale when I was 12 years old!

It really depends on the figure. If the missiles are inobtrusive or an integral part of the mode it's displayed in, yeah I'll leave them in. If they cause issues or could be easily lost, then I'll store them in a parts container (with dividers for each character/group).

I will probably pick up the Henkei version anyway because of the superior quality and the fact the price difference isn't that much round here

I bought mine well before the US release (Argos ftw) and I have had no problems like the ones mention with the previous version. I guess I'm just lucky then

I will add that I do have a couple G1 w/ missiles on tree, I won't take 'em off if original. Reissues? no prob, I bust out the missiles, just not on the vintage.

I tend to, but I do need to get a parts container going. We've all had our mishaps with missiles flying across the room.

In general, I absolutely hate launching missiles. |

Yeah, I saw 3 of them, pretty beat boxes, maybe from being tossed into the cart for clearance, but considering how many they had, which I want to say about ten or twelve, so I doubt they will be around much longer

And since I have the New Year Japanese Prime with the blue windows and Matrix, I can't justify much on this. I do know lots of guys want it and need it, so it is good for the fandom

I'm preordering the Henkei version, purely because I like the way the G1 deco works on the mold. Hasbro will more likely go with an updated look, which might be good, or might not be.

Either way, I'm aiming at the Henkei and can always cancel if the Hasbro one looks cooler. |
