We're proud to bring you the latest addition to our ever-growing Transformers Resources section today. With the launch of Hasbro's new Kre-O Transformers blocks on the horizon, we thought now would be a good time to revisit Kre-O's predecessor, Built to Rule! Our Transformers Built to Rule section is now online! This short lived series ran alongside Transformers Armada in 2003 and produced several Armada characters as building block kits. A follow-up for Transformers Energon was planned but only released to a limited test market. Check out our new Built to Rule Resources section and learn more about this forerunner to the new Kre-O line.

And once you're done checking out the Built to Rule section, also be sure to check out some of the other Transformers Block sets made in Japan over the years - as well as our Transformers Kre-O section for all the known sets and information currently available.

2005 Boards member catz has shared a few new in hand images of Dark of the Moon Thundercracker with us. A redeco of the new Deluxe Class Starscream, Thundercracker is a very dynamic looking character with a great shade of blue and sleek red and silver stripes like his Generation 1 counterpart. He looks great, but don't take my word for it - read on and check out the images for yourself!

Some news has come to us by way of Snakas relating to the Toys R Us exclusive Dark of the Moon Scan Series. A pair of new auctions have popped up on Taobao, one for Scan Series Ironhide and one for Scan Series Sideswipe. These toys, which represent the characters in the middle of scanning their alternate modes, are a visual treat with their decos and partially clear plastic elements. As stated they'll be exclusively available at Toys R Us sometime this summer.

2005 Boards member Tekmen today attended a model club convention held in Canton China today. TFC Toys had a booth at the convention, showing off the next batch of their unofficial custom items that will be offered up for release. If you've been following news, you know what this means. More pictures of their not-Devastator, now officially named, Hercules! There's also a new image of the combined mode using two Scavengers and two Scrappers, which gives a decent idea of the overall style and size of this thing.

On show were three of the four previously seen members of the Constructicons team that make up Hercules - Scavenger's expy was not on show for some reason. Hook in this set goes by the moniker Dr Crank, which is an awesomely out-there choice for a name. Scrapper is known as Structor, and Longhaul, who forever does the heavy lifting for the group, is known as Heavylabor.

Also on show were color prototypes of the DSLR Reflector styled team, in a distinctly non-Reflector deco. They are instead in black and silver, evidently TFC Toys opted for a realistic camera deco rather than a show accurate robot and a purple camera. Check out the pictures and see if you think it works.

The Power Core Combiner "WWII" series drones were also on show in all of their modes, and shown combined with Heavytread who many (myself included) speculated would be a good match for the set.

Lastly there's some new images of the next three Junkion Blacksmith Headmaster prototypes - Megatron, Ultra Magnus and Blaster, though not much is shown beyond their robot modes and Blaster's boombox mode - and a selection of Targetroid recolors, including Ultra Magnus, Nemesis Prime, Skywarp and Thundercracker. A black version of Primars who seems to be inspired by Motormaster was also on show.

All these custom, not-endorsed-by-Hasbro-in-any-way items are prototypes, so might change a bit before release. Read on to check out all of the images that Tekmen has shared with us.

We've received information from our friend and sponsor Red leader of Kapow Toys that the most recent Masterpiece series Transformer - MP-9 Rodimus Convoy - will be getting a second run in September to coincide with the release of MP-10 Convoy New Edition. 2005 Boards member DrillBIT reports that there may be some basic quality fixes on the new run edition:

New parts are made to replace the weak spots, especially with the legs (panels and feet).
Overall quality is the same.

Don't expect it to be dramatically different, but there might be some small improvements to help with the worst affected parts.

Another group of official images we received from Hasbro was this previously unknown two-pack. This set consists of that silver version of Bumblebee we had seen a few weeks back, along with a redeco of Human Alliance Basic Backfire and a redecoed Human Alliance Sam Witwicky done up to make it look like he is wearing body armor. This set even advertises the cross-compatibility feature of the new Human Alliance Basics who can turn into weapons to be wielded by the larger Transformers - it's demonstrated here on Bumblebee, who looks just a touch too small for the gigantic cannon. This set also comes with an Autobot Alliance patch, which is the same symbol seen on Bumblebee's doors.

Next up in our collection of new images from Hasbro is another Human Alliance two pack. This time out, we've got a redeco of Human Alliance Sideswipe - whose robot mode seems mistransformed in the images - and a black version of Human Alliance Icepick with Captain Chaos. In this two pack, Icepick homages the KB Toys exclusive version of Snowcat from Transformers Energon (we can't think of many other black and orange snowmobiles anyway) and Captain Chaos is actually remolded to be shown without the helmet of the single pack release. Read on and check out the images.

Everything humans know of our planet we were told had been shared. You lied to us.

So says Optimus Prime in the new Transformers Dark of the Moon trailer, but clearly Optimus hasn't been keeping up with all the news on all things Transformers here on TFW2005, or he'd be fully clued up on all the latest goings on involving our favorite robots from Cybertron.

That being said, the biggest news of the week that has just gone was most certainly the trailer for Transformers Dark of the Moon. But that was not the only big news last week with the toys leaking out ahead of their street date in significant quantities at Target stores, and the first revelations of some new toys coming our way in the form of a store exclusive Space Case, Human Alliance Roadbuster and Tailpipe (today Leadfoot was announced for a Human Alliance. Just Topspin to go).

Even more good stuff from Hasbro! This batch of images rounds out the new stuff for the MechTech mainline. Here we have an in-package image of Dark of the Moon Ironhide - our first official image of the big guy! We've also got a quintet of new Ultimate Optimus Prime images, showing him without his armor, showing the wings in a couple of different positions, and also showcasing the big guy's massive cannon! Last but by no means least, we've got an official in package image of Human Alliance Autobot Whirl with Major Sparkplug.

One last bit of official imagery goodness from Hasbro. Here we have official images of the Optimus Prime Cyber Helmet - Dark of the Moon's version of the Optimus Prime voice changer helmet. There's also the Energon Shock Sword, shown here in package, and the Stealth Force Starscream. Read on to check out all the images.

DISCLAIMER - voice changer helmet does not make you sound like Peter Cullen.

Hasbro have relaunched Transformers.com in grand style for Dark of the Moon. The site is now reworked in silvers and blues, with a starscape background which is a refreshing change from the previous deco.

Of note on the new look Transformers.com:

The official Vector Sigma Database - This database covers every character to appear in the Movie universe, including characters from the previous two films. It's very impressive and features pretty much the entire cast of the movie universe. A major revelation awaits on Soundwave's page - he is confirmed to be the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG! No more hanging around in orbit for him! A prototype of a MechTech weapon is shown on his page, indicating a MechTech toy is in development for him.

Shockwave's page is also of interest. There's massive spoilers about the big villain of Dark of the Moon on that page - massive, moon sized spoilers! Read at your own risk.

Other notable Decepticons are Hatchet, who is confirmed to be one of the Dreads, though he and Crowbar are represented by toy images.

A new character on the Autobot side is also revealed, named Steeljaw. Again though he appears to be represented by a toy image, his bio indicates he is the Wrecker's pet. Make of that what you will. One very nice addition in there - Leadfoot's page confirms he is getting a Human Alliance class toy! Steeljaw will come with Human Alliance Leadfoot - he transforms into Leadfoot's armcannon.

The Vector Sigma Database also contains a full glossary and timeline of the movie universe. The timeline only goes as far as Revenge of the Fallen, though. All in all, it is a great primer for the Movie universe.

The update also comes with new toys! Lots and lots of new toys are on the site. Here's a few of the most notable new additions, all complete with official images and bios:

Cyberverse Crowbar
Cyberverse Leadfoot
Cyberverse Bolt Bumblebee
Cyberverse Powerglide
Cyberverse Blackout

MechTech Voyager Shockwave
MechTech Voyager Skyhammer

Stealth Force Mini Changers Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime
Stealth Force Mini Changers Optimus Prime VS Starscream
Stealth Force Mini Changers Sideswipe VS Starscream
Stealth Force Mini Changers Sideswipe and Sentinel Prime
Stealth Force Mini Changers Crumplezone VS Bumblebee

Robo Power Activators Optimus Prime
Robo Power Activators Bumblebee
Robo Power Activators Starscream
Robo Power Revvin Robots Optimus Prime
Robo Power Revvin Robots Bumblebee
Robo Power Go-Bots Bumblebee
Robo Power Go-Bots Sideswipe

There's loads more toys on show, though. Talk about them all here.

All this, and Hasbro's also uploaded instructions for many of these toys. Wow!

Amazon has revealed the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Video Game Covers for Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo DS (Autobots, Decepticons), Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii.

Special Edition Nintendo DS games as well as the Wii Stealth Force Edition got free toy figures with each.

"It has been three years since Megatron and the Decepticons last threatened the world. Earth's leaders believe that Megatron has fled the planet in defeat but Optimus Prime knows better. An alien transmission is intercepted, exposing Megatron's plan to spread chaos and fear among the humans and unleash the ultimate decpticon assassin Shockwave. The Autobots must hunt Megatron, neutralize Shockwave, and save their new home from total destruction at the hands of the Decepticons."

Take a look at the game covers, after the jump.
