Here's a fun bit of random Transformers Movie series merchandise for you - Transformers bottle openers that are also USB Drives! These pieces are done in the style of the Autobot and Decepticon symbols, and feature light up "TF3" access indicators when attached to a computer. Plus, they double up as bottle openers. They come in 4 GB and 8 GB flavors. The price might be a bit off-putting though - $33.99 for the 4 GB models.

ACToys has posted new pictures of an upcoming upgrade from 3rd Party Group, Fans Want It. Fans Want It previously released the back pack jets and saw blade for Leader Starscream. This time, they've focused their attention to Dark Of The Moon Leader Ironhide. They've outfitted the mold with new screen accurate cannons. Currently, the pics don't show them attached to Leader Ironhide's arms. However, the images are only prototypes at the moment. We'll update as more pics come in.
Check out the pics after the break. |

2005 Boards member Cobra Zartan has shared some new CAD images of an upcoming Superalloy release. These images suggest that Superalloy may have some kind of Targetmaster release in the works. There's no other details right now, other than the fact that the renders show what might be a handle scaled for Masterpiece Rodimus' hand - could this be an unofficial custom Masterpiece Firebolt? Or is the handle just artistic liberty?
Stay tuned for more information. |

iGear have posted a few images of an unpainted test shot of their Spray not-Seaspray Minibot on their Facebook wall. This prototype piece lacks all of his paint right now, but is molded in the final plastic colors so gives a decent idea of what the final piece might look like. Check it out by clicking on the link above.

The recently released Diamond Edition of the Transformers Timelines Stunti-Con Job - which was the comic for Botcon 2011 - came complete with a teaser for Botcon 2012. The teaser shows Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime - with blue eyes, not red, sorry Scourge fans - and comes with the following tagline:
An enemy thought defeated A power thought to be legend At Botcon 2012, Earth's survival rests in the hands of just one robot... Popular speculation immediately leapt on this as a chance to get the RTS Optimus Prime repainted as RiD Scourge - we've no proof of that or that this is an RiD set unfortunately, as much as we'd all love that. What we do have a hint at here is that Botcon 2012 will be one of the most epic stories yet, and will be drawing the toy choices for its boxed set from the most recent wave of Classics toys, namely Generations and Reveal the Shield. Click on the discuss link below to join in the speculation! |

Eagle has shared with us some new images of his EKP1012 custom Transformers Kup figure. This piece is basically a custom piece in the style of Jizai Toys' own releases, a poseable toy based on Generation 1 styling, and scaled down to "nano scale". By the look of the photos shared, we're guessing these are more at the garage kit end of the third party spectrum - pretty cool if garage kits are something that interests you.
Check out Eagle's blog for images of some of his other pieces, including a Powerglide, a Steeljaw, a Scourge and a teaser for an Ironhide (and Ratchet by extension). |

A new Dark of the Moon Leadfoot toy - once again exclusive to Target - has arrived at retail. No, it's not the Deluxe one yet - this one is the Speed Stars version, which I must confess I'd actually forgotten about. It was sighted in the Christmas stocking stuffers section of the Tacoma, WA Target by 2005 Boards member ViceGripX.
Here's hoping we see the Deluxe one at retail very soon! |

In an almost bizarre move by 3rd party group Dr. Wu, Transformers Galaxy - Hong Kong Fans group has uploaded some CGI renders of what appears to be an "eye" accessory. This appears to be based off of the eye that Scourge steals in the classic Season 3 Generation 1 episode, "Ghost in the Machine".
So, if you're into unique (and obscure) references this is certainly an item to keep an eye out for. Take a look at the images after the break. |

Transformers Dark of the Moon was real successful, so this headline should not come as too much of a surprise, especially with the recent reports that Hasbro is in talks for Transformers 4.
Italian site Badtaste conducted an interview with Scott Farrar, visual effects supervisor for Transformers Dark of the Moon. One of the questions asked him about the future of the Movie series, and the response that he gave was: "Transformers 3, Dark of the Moon, was incredibly successful... these are making more money every time, and so success certainly gets people talking, and thinking about we should make another one possibly. Paramount has asked me and I'm willing to do another one, I'm happy to do another one, and they're talking with Michael Bay about that. I don't know if or when it's going to happen exactly, but you know, we'd love to do it." So, what this tells us about Transformers 4: Paramount are asking people involved in Dark of the Moon if they would be interested in returning. Paramount have approached Michael Bay. What this does not tell us about Transformers 4: That there is definitely going to be a Transformers 4. That Michael Bay will be returning, either to direct or in some other role. This does confirm though that things are moving behind the scenes, and there is an intention to do another live action Transformers movie. Check out the video by Badtaste below: |

3rd Party Group, IGear, has uploaded a new picture of their upcoming products Spray and Rager (Not-Seaspray and Not-Huffer respectively) to their Facebook page. This picture comes just a few days after several others were posted to their Facebook a couple of days ago. These two figures are legends sized and the image shows the figures molded in their final plastic colors, but unpainted.

As you might have heard, the second of the six Hercules figures from TFC Toys was recently released. Heavy Labor is the second of these not-Constructicons, a Long Haul inspired dump truck with a heavy duty, powerful look to him. He's a pretty solid release all round - not without his flaws, as have been documented - but he combines the look and feel of a late 80s / early 90s Transformer with modern articulation. Along with the first release Exgraver, these two demonstrate that third party Transformer releases need not be excessively fragile and fiddly.
Heavy Labor recently arrived on my doorstep, so I have done a few photos for a gallery to share with you all. I've also got some photos of the first Hercules release, Exgraver, to share - it's a two for one! Check out the full galleries, totaling up at nearly 200 images, by clicking on the links below: TFC Toys Hercules Heavy Labor Gallery TFC Toys Hercules Exgraver Gallery |
