E.Slugslinger is one of those hit-or-miss molds - either you love him or hate him. He has a fairly complex transformation for a deluxe, but is really floppy when going from one mode to the other. Not to mention it can get a little frustrating while transforming him. I think he looks great in both modes, it's just getting him from one to the other is a pain, especially if I forget a step.

As for the G1 homage, really just the name and alt mode are similar.

I only ordered Thrust since he's my favorite Conehead and since my wallet can't really handle both of them right now. I also hope the QC issues are resolved since the TC debacle.

I do. I haven't really cared for any of the toylines, sans anything G1 related, since Armada.

I only plan on getting Starscream and Prime, and that's only if they are different from the first movie versions.

Same here. It's going to be like it is with Animated. Only buy what I really, really, REALLY think is cool. That is why I haven't bought any Animated toys.

Only the Fallen and Soundwave
Right now I'm totally focusing on Animated and Classics 2.0

Considering all i have from the first movie is FAB Prime(cause he's actually half alright and a $10 Prime) and Stockade(sure he's short but he seems like a good ol transformer, once you replace the blue) prolly not, unless they make a better small scale Prime, other wise the movie designs just suck to much, give me Classics, and heck to some extent even some Animated look better.

wasn't to big on the first films toy line. although I did end up getting a couple of them. But I think I'm gonna have to wait and see if any of them are appealing.. haven't really been big on a single line since the Alt and BT's. The animated line is just horrible!

To quote Tim Nutt: "No FUCKIN' way!"

The movie toys are some of teh best TF toys we've gotten, and Soundwave already looks badass 'n' a half. Then agan I don't really collect a lot of the Universe crap, just Animated, so I have room. But I'll just be getting the core cast.

Anything I say now will likely be nullified by revelations of what's actually in the line. XD

When I first saw the prototype F-22 Starscream last year, I looked like the guy in Vangelus' avatar. That figure slowly grew on me, and by the time the movie premiered, it was actually one of my favorite movie toys(still is, I just wish the jet mode was far more accurate). So I won't be skipping this new toyline. I loved last year's movie line, there were far more hits than misses, and the engineering was incredible, for what Takara was able to pull off given the time constraints and difficulty, it was very impressive. With ROTF, since some of the returning characters won't look all that much different, I imagine this time around, they will be getting far more accurate toys. So I think the ROTF line will actually surpass the first movie line, by a long shot. I think we will get a Leader Prime right off the bat that is already better than Premium Prime, and Premium Prime is one of my favorite Primes ever.

The designs by Hasbro and engineering from Takara have impressed me immensely these past 2 years. I'm itching to see what Archer, Siebenaler and crew think up.

I dig him personally. He's kind of a weird toy but I guess I like that. With tons of the standard boxy soldier looking Transformers it's nice to have a weirdo or two in there.

Here's a digibash I did of him in G1ish colors, for lulz:

I would say it's Mirage, but he'd probably deny it. It'd be nice if he got an Animated version, though.

I can just hear Mirage quoting Trading Places: "He was wearing my Harvard tie. Like, oh sure, he went to Havard."

I wouldn't skip any ROTF toys because I hate the movie aesthetic or anything else. But I never collect vast amounts of TFs from any single line. So I'm sure I'll end up with a couple, maybe a few, but not a bunch or even the majority.
