I think the soundwave we've been seeing is probably a preview movie figure and there will be another figure released later that will have his Earth mode. Of course, if that is true, it brings up another couple of questions:

Will we have a second preview figure like the first film's Optimus and Starscream Protoforms, and if so, what and who would it be?

Yeah, not much of a deal. You can get MP Megs for $100 on BBTS and the others are cheaper there, as well.

Well that all depends on what we're talking about, which character or which toy. For me my favorite transformers toy is G1 Jetfire. My favorite character is BW Megatron. Yesssss.
