While the fate of the Transformers Generations GDO Brawn - a reuse of the Prime First Edition Voyager Bulkhead mold with a new head - is still unknown, it might interest you to know that a pair of images popped up on the 78dm BBS by spyder.

These images are not proof positive that Brawn is still getting released though, as they are previously unreleased official images of Brawn that have been composited together, possible for a catalog. Time will tell what actually becomes of all this.

According to Fans Share, Mark Wahlberg's biggest challenge to date is Transformers 4:

Wahlberg explained, “I think it will be the most challenging role that I've played and it's an opportunity for me to do something extremely different. It's going to be very different from what the first ones were. I'm excited about it. When I talked to (producer) Steven Spielberg and Michael and said, 'Don't worry guys, this is not me taking a paycheck and running with it. This is me trying to do something different.”

In addition, Wahlberg's children demand to be in the movie!

“It's the first time they've ever been excited about me going off to do a movie, and they demand to be in it,” he added.

Mastermind Creations have posted a picture of the second of their Reformatted series Ferocicons to their Facebook page. The second Ferocicon is based on Generation 1 Predacon Divebomb, and sports some impressive wings in both modes - all the better for giving Ferorcious aka Predaking a suitably wide wingspan when combined?

There's also a great shot of a Bruticus formed using four different versions of Brawl - Generation 2, US Generations, Japan Generations, and San Diego Comic Con exclusive. The ever-helpful 2005 Boards member D-Drive has shared some exciting news with us - it seems that little rumor going around a while ago about upcoming Voyager Class toys in the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters series was halfway true, because wave 2 is adding Shockwave into the mix! Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Wave 2 will feature Shockwave alongside wave 1's Optimus Prime and Predaking. No pictures are available as yet - possibly something to look forward to at the US Toy Fair?

The full listing text from Diamond is reproduced below:

TF PRIME BEAST HUNTER VOYAGER AF ASST 201302 (C: 1-1-1)
The Autobots and Decepticons from the world of Cybertron have battled for aeons; now, their war comes to Earth with the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Action Figures which add a new faction to the mix - the Predacons! These figures, in a larger scale, feature the traditional robot-to-vehicle or robot-to-monster transformations, plus detailed sculpts that make these the most realistic Transformers yet! Choose from figures including Shockwave, Optimus Prime, and Predaking. Window box packaging.

Irish actor Jack Reynor has revealed he is undertaking intense physical training for his role in Transformers 4.

Mr. Raynor told the press "I'm training very intensely at the moment. I'm going to keep that up until we shoot. I'm going to do some different courses, some different things I need to pick up for the film. My character seems to be a race car driver so I'm going to be doing a couple of driving courses and getting out on the track." He also briefly comments on his audition process and how he nabbed the coveted role. "It was after a film I was doing, 'The Delivery Man', with Dreamworks. I went through quite a rigorous audition process out in L.A., and after a certain amount of auditions and meetings with different executives, I managed to pull it off."

Reynor also told BBC during London Critics' Circle Awards: "I did [audition], which was an intimidating thing to do, We sat down, we had a long chat one day, which was great. I felt totally comfortable with Michael, he’s a really nice guy, but, you know, in the back of your mind he is such a huge director and he does these really high scale type of films. It can be a bit intimidating, but I went for it as best I could and it came out alright."

The 20-year-old 'What Richard Did' actor - who was hailed by director Michael as the ''real deal'' - hasn't met co-star Mark Wahlberg yet, but admits he greatly admires the 'Ted' star. He said ''I haven't met him before, but I'm really excited. He's one of my favourite actors. I just think he's brilliant. I have a huge amount of respect for him as an actor so I can't wait to get on set with him.''

Michael Bay will direct the next installment in the “Transformers” series, from Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, Inc., in association with Hasbro, the film will be produced by Don Murphy & Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.

In a pre-Toy Fair update, Geekdad has lifted the lid on an all-new series of Transformers toys coming this Fall. The new line is named Transformers Construct-Bots, and it moves Transformers into a new realm of designs. Taking a few cues possibly from Bionicle or Machine Robo Mugenbine, this new series consists of 24 initial planned releases across four size classes, and they post complete compatibility with one another, allowing you to disassemble and reassemble the toys to your liking.

The four size assortments are Scout at $9.99 with characters like Ironhide and Starscream, Elite at $14.99 with Wheeljack and Soundwave, Triple Changer at $24.99 with Bumblebee and Blitzwing, and lastly Ultimate at $34.99 which is where Optimus Prime and Megatron may be purchased.

A natural progression from Kre-O, a fun new concept or just too plain cool? Sound off on your thoughts by hitting the discuss button below.

Our sponsors have kicked off listing the Takara-Tomy versions of the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters series. There's no information - yet - on the mainline series releases as the pictures included with the listings are all using the same Hasbro stock images. The EZ Collection does shed some light on the majority of those listings such as "Tank Megatron" "Prowl" and "Hound" - of the initial eight, only Smokescreen and Airachnid are the versions from Beast Hunters Cyberverse. The remainder are from the Universe and Reveal the Shield Legends series and are versions of the Generation 1 characters. What's shown at the moment looks a bit like the Transformers United EZ Collection - time will tell if this is what ends up being released!

Check out the preorders at our sponsors:

3rd Party group, Unique Toys, updated their Facebook page debuting the prototype for their next unofficial Predacon, War Rhino. War Rhino is a clear homage to G1 Headstrong and the prototype is shown here in robot mode, beast mode, and leg mode. The robot mode is shown in several poses showing off the figures articulation. The leg mode pictures show that the one leg component itself will offer quite a bit of articulation in combined mode as well. All the better to crush one's enemies under foot.

Site sponsors Robot Kingdom have updated their listings for the Bot Shots 2013 Launcher Assortment and Dragon Track set with clear pictures of the toys in the packaging. This gives us our first look at the Bumblebee launcher set, which features a Jump Shot type Bumblebee (a redeco of the one from the three pack which also features Shockwave and Skyquake). There's a clearer look at the new Optimus Prime launcher set with its new mold "Spin Shot" Optimus Prime, and the Dragon Track set. The new images of the Dragon Track set confirm the second Bot Shot is a new mold of Megatron based on his Transformers Prime design and sporting a purple and orange Galvatron color scheme. The Dragon Track set also comes with approximately two feet of track to launch your Bot Shots down.
