Mobage have announced the next event for their Transformers Legends game. The next event, kicking off today, is titled "Til All Are One". As you might see from the artwork from their Facebook page, this one is based on Transformers the Movie and features the chaos bringer himself, Unicron, in his Transformers Legends debut.
But that's not all - because the chosen one of the Matrix looks to be rising up to face him. Arise, Rodimus Prime! Find out more about Mobage's Transformers Legends game at the Transformers Legends game homepage. |

Just when you thought a filming is over, they're back for additional shooting. That's exactly what happened with Transformers 4 Age of Extinction.
According to ECNS, China.org.cn learned that the crew was back to China on this Monday to shoot some new scenes in Wulong Karst National Park. Here are some interesting snippets from the article about the filming; ''At that time Bay once told China.org.cn, "The scene we shoot here (Wulong) is a very heroic scene with autobot leader Optimus Prime, it's a very exciting and big scene.'' Due to the recent script alterations, the crew was forced to once again visit the Three Natural Bridges scenery of Fairy Maiden Town in Wulong County on Monday, and used two helicopters to get several grand aerial shots of the tiankengs (giant dolines) and naturally formed bridges on Tuesday and Wednesday. The scenes they shot will be used in "Transformers 4" to add visual impact.'' You can read the full article here. Stay tuned with TFW2005 for the best movie news. |

Thanks to TF Upgrader's Facebook page, we have our first in-package image of MakeToys Trash-Talk & Cogwheel! They look to be coming as a two-pack.
Trash-Talk is based on the popular IDW More than Meets the Eye Swerve character, while Cogwheel is a remold of him into Gears. In a bit of news that should make all MTMTE fans smile, it appears that MakeToys has listened to fans' requests and are creating Swerve's almighty My First Blaster as an accessory! It is not known if it will be sold separately or included with the two-pack. Check it out in the attached image! |

No, this has nothing to do with the reshoots… but everything to do with chocolate deliciousness that is Oreo.
There is a new casting call for a Transformers: Age Of Extinction commercial promoting Oreo cookies. Oreo/Transformers Casting talent in Miami for Oreo commercial for Transformers4. Seeking males and females, all ethnicities, ages 18-65. Casting for All Models and Talent Begins on: Wed 22 January , 2014 Location: Miami , Florida , United States Section(s)
Product Placement is not uncommon these days and this isn’t the first time Oreos were mentioned in a Michael Bay Transformers movie. On Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, Agent Simmons had this to say: "Here, take one of these pills and slip it under your tongue. It's the high concentrate Polymer they put in Oreo cookies. It flukes the polygraph every time." |

Hisashi Yuki has been sharing some new in-hand images of the soon to be released in Japan Optimus EX Prime. These new images show Optimus EX Prime merged with the leaders of the Samurai and Shinobi teams, Kenzan and Gekisomaru.
The three robots combine in two different ways - Optimus EX Prime forms the core of the combination in both cases, with Kenzan and Gekisomaru swapping whether they are the upper or lower bodies. When Kenzan forms the upper body, the resulting combination is known as Daikenzan, when Gekisomaru forms the upper body with its lion headed chest, the combo is called Daigekiso. The naming scheme echoes classic Japanese robot shows where the ultimate combination would be called "Great" or something similar; Dai in this context basically means king. Check out the images of these ultimate super robot Transformer combinations attached to this story. |

For our next advance look at one of the upcoming Transformers Generations Deluxe class figures, we bring you Skywarp! This latest Skywarp is the much-awaited Fall of Cybertron Starscream redeco to round out the set of War for Cybertron / Fall of Cybertron Seekers.
By now if you have had the pleasure of owning the one of the four previous outings for this toy, you'll know what to expect. Skywarp's mold is a futuristic jet that turns into a robot with big, solid legs that help the robot to balance really well, and he's got enough poseability in the arms and the legs to strike a good range of poses. He's a good solid toy, and the deco is what really makes this release. This Generations Skywarp sports a full sleek black and purple deco, iconic Skywarp colors, and they fit the mold like a glove. Takara-Tomy's own Skywarp looked good, and still does, but this version is the more readily identifiable as Skywarp. Overall it's a sharp deco on a nice fun toy, a must for Skywarp fans or fans wanting a set of Cybertronian Seekers based on High Moon Studios' videogames. Check out the gallery to see the awesome deco for yourself: Generations Skywarp Gallery |

Artist Robert Atkins has shared some artwork of a double page cover he recently did for IDW Publishing. The artwork is for retailer incentive covers for Transformers Regeneration 1 issue 100 and G.I. Joe A Real American Hero issue 200. The pair of covers together form a crossover battle scene where Transformers and G.I. Joe meet together in the first time by IDW Publishing - but not the last, since the ongoing Transformers / G.I. Joe crossover series launches later this year!
Check out the full artwork and inks here, and check out the initial line art to see how this awesome piece of artwork evolved! G.I. Joe fans, be sure to visit our sister site Hiss Tank for more G.I. Joe news and discussion! |

Japanese retailer Bic Camera have updated their website with a page for the recently revealed Japanese Generations Grimlock redeco. The redeco is named Fireblast Grimlock, and gives the mighty Dinobot commander a magma-themed deco with a black torso and red limbs.
Generations Fireblast Grimlock is a dual homage - his name as well as the red lines on the black are inspired by the Transformers Animated Activators Fireblast Grimlock, with the comparison on these two being most obvious in the robot mode. However in dinosaur mode you might notice the silver on the tyrannosaur head - that, and the weapons particularly, reference the Transformers Super Link Dinobot Magma Type, which had a US variant under Transformers Energon named Doomlock. According to the order page, Generations Fireblast Grimlock is due for a release on 29th March, with a retail price of 4,780 yen. |

Takara-Tomy have updated their Transformers website with details and images of the exclusive Japanese Generations Fireblast Grimlock and Thundercracker.
Fireblast Grimlock as we posted earlier is a Bic Camera exclusive and homages the Transformers Animated Activator Fireblast Grimlock (and Super Link Dinobot Magma Type). Thundercracker much like the Japanese Transformers Prime Thundercracker is also an exclusive and features paint apps not present on the US release. He's exclusive to Yamada Denki, Best Denki and Yodobashi Camera. Both Fireblast Grimlock and Thundercracker are set to be released in Japan in late March 2014. |

Emiliano Santalucia updated his blog today with design art for Generations Cosmos and Mini-Con partner Payload.
Mr. Santalucia went on to say the following about the sketches: Time from another of my Transformers Generations figure designs! Transformers Generations Legends Class Cosmos and Payload! These were done at the same time of Rhinox and Waspinator, but as the last ones. There was very little time to complete them so I had to rush just rough pencil sketch. Overall, they are the ones that turned out to be more different in the final product, especially Payload which Alt Mode was changed. I guess it was also due to the technical needs of the figures. But lots of the details remained the same! Next time, Rattrap! Keep the awesome posts coming Mr. Santalucia! |
