Few days ago, we received a possible filming date for Transformers 3 at Washington, D.C.
Now, thanks to dcist.com, we have the confirmation as well. "The District Department of Transportation emailed this afternoon to let us know that Michael Bay and company will film Transformers 3 on location in Washington next week (October 11th). Filming for the third cinematic installment of the Great Decepticon-Autobot Conflict will begin on Monday, and based on street closures and parking restrictions, the shooting will be contained on the Mall. (Looks like Bay may have gotten his wish to film a bunch of historical stuff blowing up after all.) Filming in D.C. will wrap on the 15th." A complete list of the planned traffic and parking disruptions can be found here. |

Transformers At The Moon found some more Transformers related Trademarks. We’ve seen two of these trademarks before on our Transformers 3 Toyline Size Classes News Post and Discussion Thread.
Cyberverse, Mechtech and Robo Power are the three new trademarks registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office by Hasbro (You can retrieve the Original Documents by clicking on the links). Transformers 3 Movie Basic and Plus figures are to be released under the name “Cyberverse”. As for “Mechtech”, there is a good chance that this is the previously seen “Cybertech”. Transformers 3 Movie Leader, Voyager and Deluxe figures are to be released under the name “Cybertech”. There’s no info regarding the name “Robo Power”. |

For our Featured Ebay Auction, we have a strange Oversized G1 Soundwave Knockoff. The Soundwave stands as tall as a Masterpiece Starscream figure (as seen in the pic). The figure also includes oversized Ravage and Laserbeak cassettes as well. While we don't normally feature single loose figures, I figured thsi was too interesting and strange to pass up.
The pics were really dark, so I've lightened them up considerably. They can be seen by clicking the headline of the story. |

Some upcoming Books listed at the Amazon revealed what might possibly be the Title of the 3rd Transformers Movie.
The books are to be released (May 17, 2011) very near the release date of Transformer 3 (July 1, 2011). The authors of the books are official and have written books for the Movie 1 and ROTF. Our friends and site sponsors Big Bad Toy Store have put up listings for the next assortment of items in the Transformers Speed Stars line. First of all, contrary to previous reports, High Wire and Knock Out are not actually the third assortment of Speed Stars Stealth Force - they are instead the first assortment of a new, lower pricepoint assortment called the "Motorcycle" assortment at Entertainment Earth. They'll retail in the neighborhood of the Scout Class or maybe a dollar or two higher, if these listings are anything to go by.
So what's Stealth Force Wave 3 then? Well, we have a name but no face (or car as the case may be) to put to it - Leadfoot. Who is Leadfoot? He's named after a yellow Generation 2 formula 1 car, whose notable feature was being a part of the Rotor Force, and launching the signature rotor weapon from his engine. Could this be a homage, or just a name reuse? Also confirmed is the third assortment of Speed Stars Vehicles, and the next Battle Packs assortment. Speed Stars Wave 3 consists of the following: Metal Heroes LockdownCyber Hunt Optimus PrimeRevealer BumblebeeStunticons BarricadeRoad Attack Bluestreak (Not a typo! Hasbro appears to have recovered the use of the name Bluestreak!) On the battle packs front, there is just one new item confirmed, the previously seen Ironhide / Mixmaster set. |

First of all… NO, The Junior Novel is NOT the name of the 3rd Movie.
This is to let you all know that the Junior Adaptation of Transformers 3 is hitting your local book stores on the same day as other Transformers : The Dark Of The Moon novels arrive. That is on May 17th, 2011. Product Details * Paperback: 144 pages * Publisher: HarperFestival (from HarperCollins Publishers) * Author: Katharine Turner * Language: English * ISBN-10: 0062040995 * ISBN-13: 978-0062040992 Speaking of those 3 novels, after the reveal… Amazon has pulled the novels we mentioned earlier, out of their web listing. It's a tenuous trio titillation as Vangelus, Gogdog, and Seth spend an hour discussing Transformers: Prime, and then talk about some other stuff.
What's tenuous? The horrific faux pas Vangelus commits against a beloved sci-fi franchise. This podcast may never be the same again... Today's featured ebay auction is a rare piece from the 80s. Check out this Transformers Generation 1 Hide N Sleep Bed Tent. These don't pop up in condition as good as this one often, so it's worth checking out if you need those awesome G1 3rd party items in your arsenal. Or, if you like to battle Autobots vs. Decepticons in your little fortress where no one can bother you.
Hint - If you fold your pillow up into a triangle you can pretend it's the entrance to the Ark. ![]() It's on ebay right now with a low starting bid so have at it! |

Here's some excellent news for all of you wanting to know "who are they going to make next?" in Generations. Allspark member Meister79 has posted a listing from Hasbro Malaysia, outlining some of the next 16 releases in the Transformers United line. Some, we've seen or heard about before. But there's finally confirmation after months of hinting that Kup is in the works with the listing of UN-22 Char (Char was the Japanese name for Kup in Transformers 2010 and sequels). There's also a couple of surprising new names on the list with UN-19 being a Voyager Class pricepoint set of "Ramble (sic) and Frenzy", and UN-18 is the one, the only, Wheeljack! The full listing is given below:
UN-12 Trucks (Turbo Tracks) - January 2010 release UN-14 Lugnut - January 2010 UN-16 Jazz (Special Ops Jazz) - January 2010 UN-17 Perceptor - February 2010 release UN-18 Wheeljack - March 2010 release UN-19 Ramble & Frenzy (Rumble and Frenzy, same price as Lugnut so a Voyager class two pack?) - March 2010 release UN-22 Char - February 2010 release UN-23 Wreck-Gar - February 2010 UN-26 G2 Optimus Prime - March 2010 release The listing does leave some lingering questions though - why are the release dates given not following the order of the collection series numbering? And which toys are being released to fill in the gaps in the numbering? Thunderwing? Skullgrin / Dauros? Scourge? Not all the pieces quite add up, so don't take this listing as gospel. But if one thing can be taken as true, let us hope that the long awaited Classics Wheeljack, and Frenzy-Rumble two pack lie in our future. |

They were sighted at the Stockton Walmart in California by 2005 Boards member Rubicon and also at a Walmart in Denver by 2005 Boards member Lumpy.

Our friends and sponsors at Big Bad Toy Store have listed the complete range of Transformers United toys known so far for preorder. We only learned of a few entries into the series this morning, these are all now confirmed (although the numbering is slightly different) and four more releases have been confirmed - Grapple, Scourge, "Autobot Tobura" and "Hoilgaru". The last two are probably mistranslations, as "Autobot Tobura" could be a mistransliteration of the literal Japanese pronunciation of "Autobot Blurr", which Takara-Tomy used recently for their Animated Blurr release.
The full listing of the upcoming Transformers United line is as follows: UN-01 Optimus Prime Cybertron Mode UN-02 Bumblebee Cybertron Mode UN-03 Cliffjumper Cybertron Mode UN-04 Megatron Cybertron Mode UN-05 Soundwave Cybertron Mode UN-06 Optimus Prime UN-07 Bumblebee UN-08 Autobot Drift UN-09 Megatron UN-10 Straxus UN-11 Autobot Grapple UN-12 Autobot Jazz UN-13 Autobot Tracks UN-14 Decepticon Lugnut UN-15 Autobot Perceptor UN-16 Autobot Blurr UN-17 Autobot Kup UN-18 Wreck-Gar UN-19 Hoilgaru UN-20 Rumble & Frenzy UN-21 Decepticon Scourge UN-22 G2 Optimus Prime Given the different numbering from the earlier report, this may still be subject to change. But it looks like already Transformers United will rival Transformers Henkei for number of releases. As always when new information does become available, we will update you on the latest developments, so be sure to check back often! |
